Chris Tremoglie on Hate Crimes

View descriptionShare

Chris Tremoglie, a friend of the show and student at Penn, joins Dom Giordano to discuss a new study he’s been working on since July which was published by the Daily Caller, where Tremoglie discovered and determined that hate crime frequency had actually fallen during Trump’s second year in office. Tremoglie writes that the Department of Justice’s FBI’s Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Program Hate Crime Statistics, which were released this month, indicate that there was a decline in the number of hate crimes in 2018. Tremoglie explains his findings and the implications said findings could and should have on the narrative centered on President Trump.
