First, Dom asks Bill about his upcoming book Confronting the Presidents: No Spin Assessments from Washington to Biden, asking for him to contextualize the assassination attempt on Donald Trump from a historical perspective. Dom asks if, similarly to past experiences, whether Bill thinks this will change the public-facing demeanor of close friend Donald Trump. Then, Dom hears O’Reilly’s review of the Convention last week, which has become somewhat overshadowed by yesterday’s huge news of Biden’s withdrawal from the Presidential race.
