In today’s second hour, Dom welcomes Joe Pettyjohn, School Board member for Bensalem Township, onto the Dom Giordano Program to discuss a letter sent to Bucks County concerning the overreach of the government during the pandemic signed by all 13 of the county’s school districts. Joe explains why the elected school board officials have signed the letter, taking Dom and listeners back to edicts set forth during the height of the pandemic all the way to current day, laying out how he and the other school board members feel elected officials in the County have overstepped their power, usurping the power of school boards when setting forth Coronavirus guidelines. Pettyjohn explains that strict mandates were enforced with no input from any county health officials, and tells what he hopes changes moving forward in school district dealings with county officials.
