Today, Dom led off the show by talking about a controversial statement made by an Abington school board member about police officers. During the January 21st school meeting, Dr. Tamar Klaiman said “There’s a lot of evidence that anybody carrying a firearm in a district building puts kids at risk, particularly students of color.” Klaiman continued, “we know that the black and brown students are much more likely to be shot by an officer, especially school resource officers, than other students. Dom takes issue with these comments, particularly the casual nature of said comments, and explains why.
