Stella's transition into comedy began following the sudden death of her uncle. This tragic event prompted her to reassess her life and priorities. "I quit my job and thought, who cares anymore?" she recalls. This realization that life is short pushed her to pursue her passion without fear of failure.

Transitioning from a stable career in banking to the unpredictable world of comedy was no easy feat for Stella.  "The money was good, but it was boring," she explains.

This dullness made her crave a more exciting life, even if it meant risking financial stability.As an Asian comedian, Stella, navigates the complexities of culture and identity in her performances. She believes that embracing her heritage allows her to connect with audiences on a deeper level.  "I see the world differently than my white counterparts," she says, which gives her humor a unique twist.
