Harry reflects on his early days as a teacher, filled with hope and enthusiasm. He recalls, "You have so much hope. You look so fresh and joyful, but you don’t realize how stressful it is until you're in the classroom." The pressures of grading, policy, and student behavior can quickly turn that idealism into jadedness.

Harry began his stand-up career while still teaching, performing at open mics and comedy shows during his evenings.  The decision to leave teaching was not easy. Harry describes the heartbreak of leaving a profession he loved. "You build a community with your students, and when you leave, it feels like you’re abandoning them," he shares. This emotional connection is something many educators feel when they move on.
