Explaining the importance of immigrants under DACA, as we gear up for a scholarship fundraiser supporting DACA students at Western Technical College in La Crosse on Sunday, Sept. 26. It's called DACA Dreaming our Future Fundraising Dinner. From noon-4 p.m. Mexcal Mexican Cuisine on Main Street in downtown La Crosse will serve as host, along with the Coulee Region Immigration Task Force, the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration and the La Crosse County Democratic Party.  Cost is $20. Proceeds go to DACA Scholarship fund at WTC.
