We touch some more on the impending weekend of college basketball, play some PK coaches show sound and end the show with a guest appearance by our friend, Steve Rummage from Middays w Marques Maybin! 

Coach Walz joins the show to talk about the UVA game Sunday, get out and support the Cards!   We take a few calls and discuss some national sports news including the Bears imminent move to Indiana.  

We discuss the crossroads of Louisville basketball, can they make the jump from good to great?  Which incited a bit of an uproar in the studio.  Ethan Moore joins to preview the Georgia Tech game tomorrow and we end the show with a little bit of reminiscing.   

We break some Louisville softball and women's soccer news on the air, we discuss Senior Day being this Saturday and not the last game of the season and what would be a desirable result this season for Louisville basketball fans?

Live from Huffman on Dixie, we get into it and recap a great night of college basketball.  Thrilling finishes, upsets and near buzzer beaters.  Later in the hour we re-visit where Louisville Basketball stands today.   

Blank throws in an IU mention, Pitnio tells Pope to be better with the media, we play the metrics game which leads to a spicy debate between Drew and Creighton in the last few minutes.   

We bounce around a little, more SMU breakdown, UK loses to UGA, Cronin goes nuts, Blank and Creighton throw some dead fish to Drew, the man who threatened Brohm is charged and we take a few calls including our friend, Tino the Barber.  

Cards lose in a shootout in Dallas to SMU last night, we give thoughts and take a few calls.  

We touch on Hurley calling out the UConn fans for making it a social environment, NET rankings & some baseball talk for people to eat crow.   Trivia concludes the show, Go Cards - Beat SMU!

We touch on revenue sharing in conferences. weighing seeding in NCAA tournament around significant players being out, Louisville baseball hosts Xavier today @ 3 on a great weather day & 2 celeb deaths.   

Blank is back from the land of wine & cheese.  Cards on the road v SMU tonight and we get into the implications of that matchup as well as the rest of the basketball landscape this week.  Lloyd and Artis Gilmore join the show to talk about the new ABA docuseries, Soul Power.   

Aaron Flaker joins the show to talk baseball , back to some football talk with Ole Miss QB, Trinidad Chambliss granted one more year.  Cards open up with the national semifinalists week 1.  Pat Kelsey previews the upcoming trip to Dallas!

Coach Mac joins the show to talk the upcoming season and expectations, we jump back in to the basketball talk & play a Lunardi interview clip from Andy Sweeney's show The Drive on ESPN680 12-3, and a little Walz and women's hoops as they improve to 23-4 with a win over Wake last night!

Keith Poynter joins the show and we talk about the emergence of Mikel, maybe some crow eating.  It's Opening day for the Cardinal Nine and we are broadcasting from Jim Patterson stadium!  Ethan Moore joins on the backend to take all things Cards!

Brandon Lang joins the show to talk Drew's big win at the Waste Management, we touch on some Valentine's topics which leads us into Lamar Jackson talk!

We open the hour talking about some throwback Big East Tourney moments & college officials, then pivot into some Kings tidbits and Louisville needing an OLine coach.  John Boel joins us for the backhalf of the hour.   

We open the show with some Pitino sound & then transition to some Kelsey sounds and takes from the massive win over NC State Monday.  

Some general sports and news topics are discussed, Belichick and his girlfriend, El Paso airport, a call from Furniture Jon, some ACC tourney talk.  We end the show with trivia and special guest, Steve Rummage! 

We drop the Schiller Overhead Doors in over your head sound of the day, we look at the NET ratings and TV ratings from different events including the Super Bowl and astounding #'s from the World Cup as well as the future of the college football postseason! 

We revisit the excitement that was the historic performance that was Mikel two nights ago.  Some comparisons are made that are hottish takes.  We visit a crazy Olympic story and Blank and Creighton derail the hour with back to back interesting stories. 

The MOP, Luke Hancock calls in to discuss the route of NC St last night and in the meantime calls out Blank and Creighton for agreeing with caller Chuck yesterday.   We go back to the tape on that and end the show with some light hearted hi-jinks.  

We talk more about Mikel's record breaking night, play a bit of sound from his postgame and address how the performance last night might change our outlook a bit.   

Mikel, Conwell and the Cards roll NC St.  We get fired up and discuss it.  Play some PK sound and revisit a call from yesterday that did not age well.   

Paul Rogers joins the show and recaps last week v Notre Dame and Wake Forest, as well as previews what should be a big time game and atmosphere tonight in the Yum Center against NC St! 

Drew is out in Phoenix where he hit it big on the Waste Management, we touch on the travesty that was the super bowl tonight and talk about the Cards basketball in action tonight hosting NC State for the annual whiteout.   

We pick up the show in progress and get after the nitty gritty of where the Cards can position themselves with a strong or weak February in the broad picture of the college basketball landscape.   

Taylor Mathis joins to give super bowl picks, talks about becoming a member of Cardnation and the state of Cardinal athletics from someone new on the scene.  

We touch on the sustainability of the economics of college athletics, go for some more Louisville Basketball talk, and Taylor Mathis makes her second appearance on The Deener Show.

The guys discuss the women's game from last night, touch on the men's team going to Wake, some hi-jinks at the station and Ethan Moore joins the show to talk all things Cards!

Blank asks PK a question postgame, then PK goes on to roast Bob.  Louie Rabaut joins the show for some unbiased opinions.

Could Louisville be inching towards a DC?  Blank gives some fake takes, Robert Kraft snubbed by HOF as well, the Reds will be on TV this year & the Super Bowl Halftime Show is discussed.

Get into some Louisville football/basketball discussion, sound from PK coaches' show last night & Lloyd Gardner gives us some updates regarding his ABA documentary coming out! 

Paul Rogers joins the show and discusses bouncing back from the Duke loss to Saturday's exciting comeback win over SMU.  We visit some various sound from Pitino and calls around the country.   

 We continue to break down the SMU win, the bench was shining!  CL Brown chimes in with his takes on the Cards and Blank gets spicy talking about the disconnect between the program and the city.  

Blank gets stuck in the mall all day Saturday while Khani, Mikel and the boys ball out at the Yum Center!  We have some songs to play, PK sound and general discussion about the game/atmosphere and weekend that was!

We break down the economic impact of the UofL athletic department, revisit some spicy Walz sound and are a little nervous with a good SMU team rolling into town tomorrow. 

We find Nicky V deleted from the dropbox sound of Seth Greenberg ripping Kentucky fans, should we revoke Nick's Team Player of the Year Award, Furniture John calls, Flaker joins in to get us hyped for Cards baseball & Spicy Walz sound from the win over Stanford last night.  

The 1986 team is coming back for their 40 year reunion tomorrow against SMU and some of the team members think KP would be back if it weren't for BBN v Lord Calipari tomorrow.  That incites some anger from the guys and Cardnation and Ethan Moore chimes in with thoughts on the Cards and that take!  

Miscellaneous nonsense is discussed- Creighton runs out of gas, Blank deems himself an elite parent and ESPN Louisville awards were given out last night!  

More discussion on the Belichick snub, nationwide athletic department struggles, developments in the city and John Boel joins to discuss world news and give some journalistic opinions.
