Melbourne experienced a torrid time between 2008 - 2013 and one player who experienced it first hand was Cale Morton. Drafted with pick 4 in the 2007 AFL draft, he came with high expectations. However, a poor environment and culture would greet the young Perth kid. He had a promising first year, but the entire team suffered some of their heaviest defeat’s in the club’s history. It all amounted to Cale getting delisted at the end of 2012. Hear him lift the lid on Melbourne’s miserable period under Dean Bailey, but in particular the horrendous reign of Mark Neeld.
