You are listening to The Dan Patrick Show on Fox Sports Radio.

Dan, did you have you were working yesterday? Did you have generally good Thanksgiving?

Yeah?

It was. It was a nice Thanksgiving. We had a fun time. We were we were in for your show on Fox Sports Radio, and then Cavino and Rich, myself and Aaron Torres. We had a friends giving, a lot of people joining the show calling in, just chopping it up and Matt Matt Eberflus ended up delivering the the six legged Turkey no pun intended, but we were feasting on that topic for much of the day.

You know, it's interesting the the change in the Detroit Lions and what's it's amazing about yesterday? And Dan and I have both been doing radio for over twenty years, so too is Jason Stewart, our producer. So we've been doing this for a minute. And it doesn't mean that doing it for a long time makes you automatically better, but it should give you perspective. I should give you real perspective, because that's like I don't love the all the flashbacks because it doesn't necessarily relate. But I saw that, Dan, you tweeted out yesterday about the Pontiac Silver Dome and how many times we draw on Thanksgiving the Thanksgiving game and it was Barry Sanders and you were just hoping for a Barry moment because you knew the Lions weren't very good. And in my twenty two years of doing national radio, I would say at least ten, if not fifteen years of it, there has been someone who came into a studio on a day like today, Black Friday. And remember I've worked for ESPN Radio for nine years, for CBS Sports Radio for five years now, Fox Sports Trader. This is going my eighth year. And there's always always somebody who goes like why are the Lions on on Thanksgiving? Like why why are we married to the Lions? They're not any good? They're not a good watch. And you know, first take in those undisputed those types of shows have bantered around at times of years to go from that to the Lions are actually the favorites and they're the buttoned up team and it's the Bears that are the the keystone cops. Right. That is a that is quite the switch from all like the Bears have always been the you know, if we only had a quarterback, right Like, if you ask Bears fans like what has limited the Bears since nineteen eighty five? You know, we've just never had a question, sure, which just it's fair, Like they've tried a million different things. They've actually gotten new Super Bowl with Rex Grossman as their quarterback. That's one of the all time amazing feats. But the point is that I don't know what Caleb Williams looks like when this thing settles down going to year two, year two, because there are moments yesterday we're like, ah, he stinks, And there are moments just day like you know what something there, and then the end of game thing that makes you think, like does he never played football? Is he concussed? What's going on? But the reality is that all that may be fair, but there's a lot more going on than just quarterback. That led to yet another another close loss for the Bears this year.

It's first of all, just on your Thanksgiving point. The Cowboys are the Cowboys. I've been one that have all I've never wanted the Lions off of Thanksgiving. I want them on every single year. I don't care if they're twelve an hour zero to twelve. I want the Lions on. So this was a bit of vindication these last couple of years of having them on. I have never wanted them off of my TV on Thanksgiving. I want them on. I want them on in the first game. But they're they're thank you very much, thank you. There was also Doug you know, this counter programming, kind of like when your NBA team stunk in your town, so they would say, come watch Michael Jordan come to town, Come watch Kobe Bryant, Lebron James and the Cavaliers are in town. Get your tickets here, like that's your selling because of the opponents, And that's what it had been for a while with the Lions. It was more about the intriguing opponents that were coming in. Hey, Peyton Manning and the Colts are are here for a game. The Houston Texans and Deshaun Watson and JJ Watt and their crew coming in like, that's that's what you would get. And now because the Lions are good, you don't even have to do that. You gotta put them against the Jags. Yesterday I wouldn't have cared, would have been great.

Yeah, it's it's really amazing. What Dan Campbell? What how that that organization has been transformed? Uh, it's it's insane. I gets you know what it is? The lines are Brussels sprouts? Serious? I thought about this last night. Brussel sprouts? Do you did your mom ever make Brussels sprouts when you were a kid?

No?

When? Why?

I don't know, you're not irin right?

Yeah?

Yeah, no, no, what's the deal? No?

I mean, no, profet, you can speak to this as well. You have a culinary culinary a part to you.

Yeah, my mom never made Brussels sprouts, but then I I and I always avoided them because I just thought it was disgusting.

But I smell like a fart. That's that's well. I think that's when they when they're when they're being steamed, they smell like, well, that's you.

That's the key I found. I saw tade them instead of steaming that they were amazing of.

Course, right for like fifty years, everybody's like, well, we're gonna have Irish food and we're gonna like steam. You know, it doesn't matter if it's cauliflower or broccoli, but especially Brussels sprouts. You see them. They smell like somebody had gas and they're not particular that. Y know, they're really good for you, like, oh, stay away, no thanks. Now they're in restaurants right now. If you say like, okay, hey, what are we having for dinner, We're gonna start with some Brussels sprouts. Like oh, as a kid, if that was what the mom said, Hey, you know you're having we're having dinner tonight, so you know, don't eat, don't eat any snack any late late, like, oh what are you having? Mom? Well, we're gonna have brussel spets, Like oh, I gotta fill up my stomach with something else and figure out a way to take as little as possible and then give it to the dog or throw it away or put it in a napkin. Now somebody says like, you're make a Brussels sprouse Like I mean, if the lions come back, or the lions turn around from a laughing stock to arguably or maybe inarguably the best team in the NFL this year, and again like they weren't perfect, they were dying to be beaten yesterday. Is a lot like brussel sprouts, where like now they're on a menu. People order them, throw a little bacon, little balsamic glaze after you either flash frame or you bake them, like I just bake them in the oven. They're fantastic, fantastic, and the lions are equally fantastic lions of Brussels sprouts. Go ahead, talk about that with your friends when you're sitting around there, when you're outside the Victoria's Secret today, Like you know those those shops. I know nobody goes to the mall anymore, right, but you do go shopping today, and all of us guys are all kind of the same, like, yeah, I'll go with you. You know, you're watching your game on your on Amazon on your phone, and now you're sitting next to another dude like she's in where bed bath thing beyond you, mine's in Victoria's Secret. You're sitting out there and you can just turn to that other dude who you just met thirty minutes, thirty seconds ago and go like, you know the lions are like Brussels sprouts and go into the little ramt and see how that works for you.

Do you think people aren't shopping because stores aren't open. We've seen this big push lately of we we respect are workers?

Oh gosh, we have as is all gonna say? Are we gonna flip this back to where it's I saw? That's a great question, Dan, it's a great question. I think they're not shopping because they just shop online, to be honest with.

You, And I think that they're not open because people are shopping online. Like it's not like like if you could make money, a whole bunch of money by opening at eight o'clock.

Last night.

In the local news here in southern California, there were outlet malls that were open, and I don't know they were open all night long. It made it sound like it seemed like that, but we don't. We didn't see the big rush, and we don't see the big rush anymore. But I just wonder if is it because you didn't make money or are you truly caring about your employees so they can spend things fat?

You sound like you had a thought there.

But no, I think I think You're right, Doug in that it is a lot of shopping online. But I think Dan's also onto something that it is kind of masking. It's like, all right, we can save costs but not opening until later because now we've got everyone shopping online. But we'll mask it in this like idea that we're caring about our employees, where it's just like, yeah, we're just gonna save money by not opening until later.

Well do I do? I think there's complaining from employees of course.

Oh yeah, nobody wants to particular.

No, people just don't want to work period, let alone, you know, let alone, now right, They just don't like that's true, They just don't. It's like, man, but I I think that there's a lot there's actually there's a lot more to it. I do wonder if you know, as the pendulum swings, we became so overly protective of workers and their time, and maybe now the pendulum swings like, hey, we got to get back to work. Like I don't know, Black Friday was I never got up. I never stayed up all night. But it is kind of a thing, and it's weird if that thing goes away or that thing becomes muted because people are concerned with workers and their times, with their homes. Yeah, you know it's a great thought, but like, what's the reality to it?

I got a quick lie Ions thought. Chris Purfett covers the Lions pride of Detroit are are Lions fans? I felt this way as a Seahawks fan when they became popular. It's like when the band that you loved that nobody knew about all of a sudden has a hit song and everybody likes them. Is there any resentment within the Lions fan base and the people that listen to your stuff and read that stuff about how the Lions are becoming a popular team?

Uh?

No.

I think there's some like concern as far as like jinxes, but other than that, Like I once talked with Joe Doue. I got a chance to talk with Joe Dumars one time.

You know, Jo's throwing.

Him the ball in a short during the interview. Would he to just lock you down he could ask any questions?

No.

I actually got to ask him about Rashid Wallace, which was a dream for me. But he's put it great about the Detroit sports scene where it's like you're not quite front runners, But there's always competition in Detroit if you're not If the Pistons aren't doing well, they're gonna go to the Red Games. The Red Wings aren't doing well to go to the Lions game. If they're not doing well, they'll go to Michigan. There's so many sports competing there that you do kind of naturally see these surges, whereas like the Red Wings were the team of Detroit fans in the nineties than the Tigers and the twenty tens. Now it's all about the Lions non stop. So I think it's just, you know, you're kind of used to having a lot more people coming in and just I think everyone's just feeling the good vibes still at this point, Like it's it's been all positive in Detroit.

You're like, we they like us, They finally like us.

Yeah, there's some resentment about people. It's like, oh, you've been putting us down for so long. Now you're paying attention for.

A long time, Like what are we supposed to do?

I know, yeah, it's but that's how fans think. It's just it's it's, oh, now you're paying attention to us kind of stuff.

The craziest thing as a Seahawks fan was people didn't really care when they made it to Super Bowl forty. It wasn't that the fact that they were winning that people started to care, because the Sea actually hadn't been a consistent winner at all until Mike Homegren came there. I mean, Chuck Knox, you know, for a few years in the eighties, but otherwise they hadn't been good. So you thought, now we're good, people start to love us, and they were kind of irrelevant. It wasn't until an irrelevant good team, if you will. It wasn't until Pete Carroll, legion of Boom Russell Wilson come in that then they become mainstream and overly popular. And that's what was really weird because when they played the Steelers in the Super Bowl in Detroit. I know where it's going, Doug, But obviously Pittsburgh a lot closer than Seattle. We know the fan base dominated by Pittsburgh fans, sure, but it wasn't like this we always knew about because they were the twelfth man and then legality that now they call him in the twelves. We had known that since the eighties and nineties, but it wasn't as big as it was until Pete Carroll, the new Unis legion of Boom and Russell Wilson came along.

Hey, you guys have drew medicine from Detroit.

I did not know that.

Interesting is the guy they've been Dan Buyer for Dan and the Dan Nets.

Uh?

And then you have the Chicago Bears.

Uh?

What to say there? I guess the positives are they kept fighting. The positives are down down big. Even the start of the fourth quarter, they had the ball down twenty three to twenty marching down the football field in field goal range on second down, in field goal range. On second down, Caleb Williams takes a sack, which you're not supposed to do, right, Isn't that again? This is is there?

Are?

There are? I don't. I played football for seven years growing up, and now he's never played in high school, didn't play obviously in college. Okay, I've covered sports. I know sports my whole life. I don't know every hard and fast rule. I know that as when you're a punt returner, you're supposed to plant your heels on the ten yard line and if it goes over your head unless your name's like Tyreek Hill, and you're trying to make a play goes over your head. You let it go like I know that, and I know that late in the game like that, you cannot take a sack, right, we do know that, right. I think everybody's sitting there was watching it. They going like, you can't take a sack there, and he did. Okay, so you get up. You watch the video and with twenty three seconds to go, they have one time out. It's third down, and the offensive linemen are doing the I don't know what you call it, like the wind thing, you know, your finger where you're doing. It's like into a circular motion. We wind wine wine wine, like let's go, like we got to get something in. And what happens afterwards, so they they finally get guys lined up, and then Caleb Williams even changes the play. By the time they snap the football, there's like seven six seconds on the clock. He throws it down the field. It's incomplete to Romadoons and they have no time to get a second play in kick a field goal. They never got to use their time out. Here's Caleb Williams, by the way, explaining it.

I don't have a microphone to speak to coach or anything like that. So there was there wasn't like any huge communication that situation. You get a call with that time, you gotta you know, you gotta try and get the guys back, get everybody lined up, so you go run a play and you know, we got lined up, got the play, and then you know, I made an adjustment because I saw the clock running down, knowing that if we complete a ball and you know, in bounds or anything like that, we won't have time to kick a field goal or anything like that. So you know, I made adjustment. New Rome was either gonna be one on one or he was gonna you know, beat the safety and be one on one there, and you know, tried to give him a shot. We got the shot and miss.

Okay. So so Dan, here's my question. It's obvious there if you listen to Caleb Williams, it's a contradiction. And you know he's like, we can get a field goal off like you had a time out, So he obviously must have in the moment forgot they had a time out. Would you be okay if he goes like I forgot we.

Had a time No, that would be that would not be okay.

Why that's clearly what happened.

Yeah, I.

I don't nothing that he really said made sense, Like taking a shot to Roam's single coverage. There wasn't single coverage. Taking a shot as time runs out, like the longer pass play ensures that the clock is gonna go out. Maybe that's what he's thinking, But I don't know. I don't know if you can say that as a quarterback, maybe that's a better way for me to put it. Even if you didn't know, you could try to just word salad it and explain yourself and hope nobody follows up on it. But you have to know if you're a quarterback at that point.

You had something on eber flush.

He did speak with the media earlier today and says that he expects to coach against San Francisco and is we mentioned he's gonna meet with Kevin Warren and Ryan Poles later today, but he has already met with them after the game, so there hasn't been a move made. He expects that he's going to be back and by all accounts doubling down on what they did yesterday. From what I've seen on social media in the in the comments from some of the Bears reporters.

Yeah, that was bad. And and like I'm there's not trying to pile on to Bears fans, but been a tough little month here, Yeah, I mean it's a tuflot month here. Had the Packers dead to rights, he sits on a forty six yard field goal, gets blocked, the commander's game they have in the back, can't lose that game, can't lose the game. They have one of their defensive backs dancing while the ball's being stabbed, and lose on a hail Mary. And then and then they lost in overtime last week to the to the Vikings. And then yesterday, I just I don't even know I was you know me, I never shut up. I have plenty of words. I have no words for what that that that that was, And Caleb Williams kind of taking ownership. Hey there, I don't have a microphone like you never have a microphone, So you just kind of get the play in and get guys lined up well like they were in that process. It took way too long. And then making the admitting you made an adjustment to throw the ball down the field, which by the way, wasn't in the end zone. Wasn't like you took an in zone shot. No part of that explanation made sense, especially considering you had to tie it end you had a time out in your back pocket. I do think that Caleb Williams sort of owned it, but didn't even understand or wasn't able to explain how he was owning it, not realizing he clearly forgot they had a time out. Wait to you what Micah Parsons said fresh off the Cowboys victory of the Giants. That's next.

You are listening to the Dan Patrick Show on Fox Sports Radio.

He said that they're back in under.

Something yeah yeah again to get ready to make a run.

Yeah run, yeah, I don't think so.

No, no, And it's one of those things where like I really like Micah Parsons, like he has obviously a great football player, he's got great energy. But I don't think there's any player that unwittingly shows the need for like a PR team instead of doing your own podcast more than Michah Parsons, because I don't think he means anything by a lot of things he says, but they they they come across as somebody who's very very young, it says. It's it's constantly putting out fires over things that he said and probably didn't mean anything about. And there's nothing more. There's nothing worse than the like, hey, we just beat the Giants. Grant they beat Commanders the week before. We just beat the Giants, and we still have a road game against the Eagles, and granted there's some other potential dubs out there, but we're gonna make a run. We're back. You're brack with with what? Like you survived the Giants. I just Cooper Rush thrown for a buck ninety five does not signify the Cowboys being back. Still have the same issues. Let's start with here's all games really that could have an effect on the college wall playoff? How about Notre Dame and USC, Jared, you look at the Irish, of course, this is a game they simply cannot lose, right in their current position with the Northern Illinois loss, the A and M windows and look as good. Cannot lose this game, can't do it. Can't lose this game. And the line I believe last time I checked was seven and a half US season seven and a half point dog at home, fifty two and a half to the total.

Yeah, we've kind of been hovering around the seven all week, and I think you're one hundred percent right. Notre Dame cannot lose. If they win this game, they're gonna get a home playoff game, which I don't think a lot of people expected that after they lost to NIU in September, and no doubt about it, of all the teams that are competing for the college football Playoff, that is the.

Most unquality loss of all of them.

And if it happened in November, we might be having a very different conversation about Notre Dame.

But we're not.

We're having a very positive conversation about the Irish. They have looked very good USC. I'll be honest, this is of all the games this weekend that can kind of cause chaos, and you know, it's it's hard to predict the chaos, but this is the one that I don't think a lot of people would be surprised if USC battled. They have had a really positive season. They're a top forty defense. I don't think anyone expected that. The quarterback situation is intriguing here. I think with Notre Dame's defense, that is the strength of their team. If it's my ava for USC, who's more of a runner, I actually think that favors Notre Dame. I think if Miller Moss plays in this game, I think this might be a sneaky good spot for USC. Notre Dame does not go into the Coliseum very often and win by margin. They have not won by more than a touchdown. It's only happened five times since nineteen sixty six. So it's just it's very rare for them to go into what is an interesting environment and play good football. I think the USC defense needs to keep them in this game. I think they're gonna have to play the game of their life. Notre Dame is a very physical football team. They're gonna try to run it right down their throats. But USC has been in a lot of games this year. They've actually had the lead in every fourth quarter this year, and that is crazy because they haven't won a lot of those games, but they've at least battled, and I think that's been the impressive thing for USC this season after what we saw last year where they kind of fell flat in a lot of these spots. I would favor USC in this game, like I would take seven and a half. I think that is a number I would bet if Miller Moss plays. I really like USC. If not, I just a little bit like them. But I do think the Trojans are live and Notre Dame's got a battle on their hands on Saturday.

I actually find today's slate pretty interesting, including the game that's coming up top of the hour. You talk about playoff implications. Boise State needs to keep on winning, but they're at home to Oregon State game on Fox. By the way, just wanted to say that just in passing, But does Boise State need to impress? Do they need to do anything because they're locked in as a conference champion if things keep rolling? How do you think the Broncos against the Beavers today pans out?

Yeah?

I mean Oregon State to me is a team that battles, and they're coming off of their most impressive win of the year beating Washington State, who actually had kind of an outside shot if the real chaos broke out to kind of sneak into the field. I don't think anyone really thought it was gonna happen. But Oregon State put an end to all that. They won that game as a double digit dog last week. Like, who is Boise State played? I think that is the question that the committee members have to ask. They did play that game tight at Oregon in September. I think Oregon if you watched the Oregon throughout the year, I think it's fair to say that they've evolved immensely, right with Gabriel quarterback like that was kind of a work in progress. In the first month of the year, he was getting sacked a ton. I think Oregon, especially defensively, has really settled down since.

But Boise State hasn't really impressed me over the last few weeks.

I mean, you go to Wyoming and you win by you know, one score when you're favored by three touchdowns. So I think Boise because of the Big twelve chaos, they are comfortably in that. Okay, if we win, we're probably gonna get the buye and frankly, I think that's all they care about. So so asking a team to win with margin when they don't need to win with margin, I think is a tough ask. I don't love Oregon State, but it's I think it's gonna be an interesting one.

Jared, I have a question for you again. We we haven't prepped you four or whatever. I think Boise's take in the buy is the most laughable injustice in the idea of creating justice I've ever heard of.

I totally agree.

Okay, I think the biggest I think the biggest pushback I have with this bracket is we need to figure out a better way to grade the non SEC Big ten schools, Like we can't just.

Go right now. They're basing it off record like that, that's not that doesn't fly.

Like at least when we had the BCS, say which want about the BCS, at least we had some way to grade the schedules. It seems like the committee is just looking at the records and saying, oh, you've got one loss, you've got two losses.

We're gonna we're gonna cipher it out that way.

Yeah.

I mean.

I even think Indiana, like what are we doing with Indiana being in the field? Who have they beaten? Why should they be? I don't get it because they're.

Playing the Big Ten. They've only lost one game that that honest.

But they have, but they've played the bottom of the Big Ten. You're right, it's like they're in like I've done this for years at the basketball like, well they they're in the ACC, Like, yeah, what do they do against Carolina Duke? Well they didn't play them? Like okay, well you didn't play you played Ohio State. You have Blade, Oregon, ham Blay, Penn State, ham Blade, Iowa, not that Iowa was great, but like again, I don't think there's a win over a team with an above five hundred record in conference play.

It's a problem.

I think that's and to be fair, like, I think it'll work itself out when these teams do play each other in the playoff, like let's say Indiana does get a home game against Georgia in the playoff.

I mean, I don't know what the bracts gonna look like, but I.

Think we're gonna see a couple of these, call it cupcake playoff teams that probably aren't in the top caliber of college football talent, and they're gonna play one of these teams, and you're gonna see it, and it's gonna take a holatious blowout for anything to be changed.

I do think the bracket format has been the weirdest part of this.

Like you look at the rankings when they get revealed on Tuesday night and it's like one through twelve and then like one through twelve is not in the field.

So it just I think it's hard for the average fan to wrap their head around.

That hottest ticket in all of college football and a sun even close is in College station on Saturday. I mean, this This Texas Texas A and M rivalry is off the charts, considering they haven't played in over a decade. But the long Horns come in almost like the opposite of Oregon, a little jared and feeling like Oregon started slow and has turned it on. I feel like Texas started hot now maybe hasn't been as strong. How do you think the Longhorn's fair going into College Station to face the Aggies.

Yeah, what a what a great game. I mean, I'm glad that we get this rivalry back. It's been I think twenty ten or twenty eleven the last time they played. We have seen Texas take a little money this week. I think a lot of it depends on yours and his status. It looks like probable on the injury report, But these SEC injury reports have been like toilet paper this year. They just they're not really worth much. I was really disappointed last week with A and M. Like when you look at their defensive line and you look at the athletes that they have, I was surprised that and this is a defense that has played really well this year. Mike Elco is one of the best coaches in the country that maybe you haven't heard of yet. You're gonna you're gonna hear a lot about them if if they figure out a way to win this game and get into the SEC title game. But you're facing an Auburn defense, or excuse me, you're facing an Auburn offensive line last.

Week that is one of the worst in college football, or at least in there of a conference.

And you get all of these SEC athletes stud athletes up front, and you're stunting and you're doing all this weird stuff. The way A and M played that game last week, it almost seemed like they were the less physical team, where if you have the dudes that they have up front, like just go like just run straight up the field and blow up the offensive line. I don't think they're gonna be able to play that way this week. Like they're gonna have to use a little more magic to get through what is a very really, really physical Texas front. And I think that's the key here in this game. Doug, We've discussed this A and M d line all year. This is gonna be a great matchup against the Texas offensive line. They are also a very physical unit, one of the best in college football. Kyle Field at night again, the first time this rivalry is being played in fifteen years, so I do expect there to be a little bit of starks behind it. But it's all about your status, like is he gonna be healthy, what's the offense gonna look like? A we gonna see arch Manning in this game. I've heard rumblings that maybe you start arch Manning and you try to get a spark there and then you go to youers later if it doesn't work, or vice versa, you start youers and you keep arch Manning ready to go if Quinn.

Is still a little bit banged up. But I do like the Texas running game.

If Auburn can move it against his A and M defense, I do think Texas can too, and kent Texas A and M kind of rise to the occasion. They've played a couple of big games at night at Kyle Field this year. The one early in the season against Notre Dame didn't go well. I really am hard pressed not to take Texas in this game. I just I struggle to lay more than a field goal.

Uh Michigan twenty and a half point Dogs at Ohio State totals forty three and a half. So obviously Vegas not a big buyer in Michigan's offense, despite the fifty points they put out against Northwestern. But look, it's Ryan Day's nemesis. Feels like this is one where if Ohio's taking a lead, it gets really really ugly. But if it's tight, well it could be really you know, like, how does Ohio State react after the big win last week? What do you think of that number?

Yeah, this one opened up right at twenty one, and we did see a little bit of money come in on Michigan. I think the Will Johnson injury he was announced out actually right before I came on here. I don't think that's gonna move the number. I think that was kind of already baked in. He's missed the last few games, the injury. Really to keep an eye on his Colston Lovelin. He is the offense for Michigan. Out of the one hundred and seventy receptions for the Wolverines this year, he has accounted.

For fifty six of them.

He's a tight end, so he's not even a wide receiver. But I do like what I've seen a little bit, you know, from Davis Warren lately. They blew out Northwestern. I know Northwestern isn't good, but for Michigan to drop fifty on anyone this year, I think is impressive. Ohio State unquestionably in a lot of the sharp circles, number one in the power ratings, and I think what we saw last week against Indiana was a dominant performance.

I didn't love Ryan Day with the push push late.

I thought that Trevion Anderson actually made the smart play going down in that game and not having to put the Ohio State defense back onto the field, and Ryan Day's like, hey, we're gonna leave no doubt and score a touchdown.

It really is impressive.

Though.

The defensive line, the defensive front for Ohio State with Knowles as the coordinator, like like they have all of the pieces in place to make a run. The question is is will Howard good enough to get across the finish line. He's very good enough to get across the finish line in this particular game.

Michigan, though, has.

Looked good, like they've dominated over the last few games. We've seen them dominate this rivalry. I think margin is the key word here, Like this is a big spread, low total. I would favor a favorite in that spot, because usually that's the market telling you that the underdog is not very good.

But ironically, the over, like.

You think defense when you think of these two teams, the overs ten in all in the last ten games.

Between these two.

So there has been this vibe of hey, I don't care what the total is, I don't care what this bride is. We are going to score as many points as possible on every single possession. After we saw what Ryan Dad did to Indiana last week, if he could drop fifty on this Michigan team, they are going to keep scoring as much as possible. So I actually would favor the over here forty two. I mean, really, you really only need probably ten points for Michigan because I do think Ohio State's gonna put up a forty spot in this game.

Dan, you agree, Yes, I think that there are some access to grind for Shure.

I agree.
