Giants will be at the Steelers tonight. The Giants are getting six, but the Dodgers up two to oh. When the Yankees the Otwani injury in the seventh inning, Dave Roberts said he will play. And Freddie Freeman is cruising and he is crushing homering in the first two games. A little bit later on John Shombe, who is calling the World Series for the Mothership, Ross Tucker our good Buddy was on the call for Cleveland and the Ravens yesterday. We use them on the show. Go to Rapid Radios dot com froup to sixty percent off and free shipping. A lot of football yesterday over the weekend as well. And this is when we start to take out the show and we start to throw some dirt on some teams. Dirt on the Bengals question mark. Probably dirt on the Jets, Yes, dirt on the Jags.
Yes, dirt on the Cowboys question mark.
But the Eagles handle the Bengals, the Browns over the Ravens, Cards over the Fins, the Packers get by the Jags, Commanders in dramatic fashion, bears at the buzzer, and then the Niners last night beating up on the Cowboys. Let me start there and then I'll work my way back. But watching the Cowboys and it felt like they made a late comeback. You got some garbage time numbers for Dak Prescott. That's a team that is just out of sink. You're watching and you keep waiting, what do they do?
Well?
Ceedee Lamb is great, but Dak very inconsistent turnovers. Once again, defense is spotty. Guys are chirping at each other. You got a lame duck coach and you got an owner who's in a hurry to win a championship and it's not going to happen anytime soon. As for the Niners, that's one of those whew, okay, we got it. Maybe not perfect. Party didn't look that good. You got another good running back there, George Kittle. George Kittle is one of those Oh that's right, they got George Kittle because he is still very elusive that he can make some plays there. But that's one of those. You got to win, you move on. We tend to get caught up in style points. How did you look? Sometimes you just go, we won, You're four and four. We won, that's it, and then you look around. Seattle gets blown out at a home by Buffalo, which was a really impressive performance. Got to watch a lot of that, and I'm going, man, Seattle's a good team. Buffalo has played really well. They've exceeded experts because the expectations prior to this were too high. Now it feels like they might be too low because the Dolphins, they may get to the point if you're out of the playoff hunt, do you sit to a tongue of ioloa? That's what I'm curious about here. Do you get to the point of no return of why are we putting him out there? And they might be getting close to that, But the new and improved Patriots no longer soft. They end up beating the Jets. The Jets are going into darkness apparently, and Aaron Rodgers, who has blamed just about everybody for how bad they've been, I don't know if he blames the media for this loss. I think we got the blame for the last loss. But you know, we're getting to the point where I'm going, Oh, the Patriots won okay with a backup quarterback who just got benched, so you could put in Drake Mayng who got knocked out of the game. And then you go, yeah, sure, Like now I'm not so Probably before I was like, you got to beat Denver at home, or you have a chance to win that game.
You got to win that game. You have a.
Quarterback who he's supposed to be the difference. You won seven games last year with horrible quarterbacking play. Don't you think that quarterback could be responsible for at least two more wins? Because that's what great quarterbacks do. I'm watching the Chiefs against the Raiders and Mahomes. Gone are the days of fifty touchdown passes, forty touchdown passes.
But man, oh man, can he can run a game?
And I know there are quarterbacks Alex Smith in particular, who'd always get upset when I called him a game manager, I meant it as a compliment. There's a lot of guys who can throw the ball. It's like being a thrower and a pitcher. I want a pitcher. I want somebody who manages a game, and Mahomes was managing that game. He would take what you know used to be you're trying to force it a little bit now he's like, all right, what do you want to give me? No, I don't take that, then I'll take a little bit more, a little bit more. Defense played great now, granted it is the Raiders, but this is a rivalry game, and I expected this to be close, but still undefeated. You may not be impressed by them, the lions of the team. They are the newest version two point zero, greatest show on turf.
They're cruising. You put up fifty eight points.
I know it's against Tennessee, it's still the NFL putting up fifty eight. Now, granted that might be thirty eight against somebody else, but you still put up fifty eight points and looked impressive. And Jared Goff, I know people go kicking and screaming and saying, MVP. I can't argue with the numbers here. Now, he didn't have to put up big numbers. First half. They scored touchdowns, didn't throw for a lot of yards. But you start to look at some of these numbers in what he's done over a four game stretch. So he has completed eighty three percent of his passes over the past five games. That is the best five game percentage for a quarterback in NFL history.
Who now stead of a day, start of a day, Stantata Day, Stantata Day, this is.
The start of the day. Lion scored fifty two.
My bad.
They would have scored another touchdown. But Jared Goff has completed eighty three percent of his passes over the past five games. That tops Peyton Mannings all time record that was set back in two thousand and eight. They don't have Jamison Williams for another game, as he's been suspended two games. But back to the Bears against the Commanders, the showdown the top two quarterbacks, and it wasn't a good game. It was a great finish, but it wasn't a good game. The Bears defense is good. They did a great job against Jayden Daniels. You know, they're really good except for on Hail Mary passes, Hail Maryland passes. They gave up the Hail Mary at the end. And boy I had I had a lot of thoughts about this because it's one of my pet peeves. When you see defensive backs trying to go for the interception or not knocking the ball to the ground. And then you got a defensive back who's not even part of the play to start with. He is, you know, Jawn with the fans, Tyreek Stevenson. He's there, John. They snapped the ball and he's like, oh, okay, I'll go over there now. In fairness, he did get his hand on the ball. I would have fired Matt Eberfluse because there were two things that happened there the previous play, and Tony Romo did a wonderful job.
Romo said, you know what I would do, Jim. I would do a.
Ten, twelve, thirteen yard out, and then that sets up the hail Mary because you can't throw at seventy yards, certainly with Jayden Daniels and his rips. I don't know why you're not having a little bit not press coverage, but you're at least up there to make it a little bit more force them to make that throw inside. And then time's going to run out. Plus you have three timeouts. After they complete the pass to who was at mclauren, then you call timeout. How about we let's regroup here, call second timeout. If you want to. I never understood this. If I have my guy's back, everybody's at the goal line. The only way you can beat me is if you get into the end zone. Okay, First of all, I don't have a spy on the quarterback. They had a linebacker who was a spy. Jane Daniels didn't get to run at fifty five yards. You got a spy on him. How about he rushes the quarterback, not spies. Second of all, I would say, who is the guy who has the best vertical. I'd have the guys who have the best vertical, and I'd probably have maybe our tallest guy.
Can I have somebody back there?
Cole Kamet, who's six ' five, Like I need to have some height, and you've got to be able to box out. You can't have somebody behind the defense. Can't And he's the guy in the end zone. Inexcusable, embarrassing with the emphasis on B E A R. Here is Matt Eberflus, the head coach on the loss.
Just got out of the locker room. Obviously the guys are disappointed. When you lose a game like that, you know that's a tough one to swallow after coming back, but also told him in the same you know, same conversation that was really excited that you know, the how they battled back, you know, and they battled back to win that game. Uh, you know, to be a have a chance to win that game. So you know it's important to look at that too.
No, no, no, no, not gonna look at that. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, but this is how the Bears announcers called the hail Maryland.
Jaded Daniels sipped the back being pressured.
Jade and Daniels hemmed into the pocket looking for blockers. Watches deep pass into the area of.
The old conception.
That's caught by Noah Brown. He was the tip man.
And this place is now gone into bedland mode.
Washington with the.
Miracle finish full place.
Seventy six yards and twenty five stinking seconds on real.
That's the Bears call. Here's the commander's call for me.
With the goal line, they bring free.
Davie's backing up, gives himself some time now steps up, fires heads towards the end zone.
It is how many people are in the booth, It sound like a frat house. The producer got in on it.
Everybody, Yeah, My laughs were so sinister too, Like, I don't know what was happening in the lead up to the game, but how about we try to replicate that jayde Daniels back to pass down to the goal line.
But Did's got.
Nailed it?
Yeah, I'm watching. I text the dan Ants and I just said embarrassing. It should never happen. And I don't want to hear this. Oh, how many holding calls? If it comes down to Kyle Mary, and you're going to say, what about the holding call?
Now?
Move on?
Move on? And there probably were.
They were probably pushing and shoving and holding in the end zone as well. On the hail Mary, you're four and two. You got a chance to be five and two. If you don't make the playoffs, you're going to look back on this game. You had a chance. You stayed in the game. Caleb Williams did a nice job. At the end of the game. You score the touchdown, they don't have any timeouts. All you have to do is keep the runner in in the field of play. Don't give him the sidelines. He's not throwing at seventy yards. He's not capable of doing that. Tony Romo even said you know what they might have to bring in Marcus Mariota because Jaden Daniels is playing with Bruce Ribs. That's one of those where you look at the coach and you go, what are you doing?
Called time out?
Settle your team. Let's make sure we got the right people in. We know exactly what we're doing. And don't engage with the crowd. Hey, guys, here's some things we need to worry about. Knock the ball down. Hey, do not engage with the crowd, and you know, egg them on and you know whatever. Don't start celebrating early.
Oh my goodness. That's why the.
NFL is undefeated. It's just every week never never fails. All right, we'll get phone calls coming up when we come back seat, and we'll give us the options for the poll questions.
Today, we'll talk to Ross Tucker.
He was on the call with the Cleveland Browns, Jamis Winston's Cleveland Browns against the Baltimore Ravens. Paul Finebaum will stop fighting as well. We'll talk World Series game coming up tonight, Game three. Take a break, just getting started back after this.
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in the nation. Catch all of our shows at Foxsports Radio dot com and within the iHeartRadio app. Search f SR to listen live play of the day coming up. A lot to choose from Freddie Freeman. With that grand Slam on Friday night, no bat flip, Paulie said, it was more like he was holding up a scepter.
He held it for like five or six seconds to the crowd, like he was gonna get lightning hit it.
Sceptor.
I loved it, Yeah, I loved it.
Otani is expected to play tonight and once again, the temperatures are being will be in the low fifties. It'll be clear in the Bronx. I'm watching the Ravens Browns, and I said, I think Thursday or Friday, the Browns are going to win a game they're not supposed to win. And maybe that's the game. But it also made me think again, like I want to be all in on the Ravens and say, okay, this is sustainable and it's not Lamar's fault because you know, Lamar had a couple of plays where his teammates let him down his you know they should add an inner exception prior to the game winning touchdown. But jameis Winston is a better quarterback for Cleveland than Deshaun Watson, and Joe Flacco was a better quarterback than Deshaun Watson, because if I start to look at the numbers here, you know, Desjaun Watson hasn't thrown for over three hundred yards since he's been in Cleveland. But Joe Flacco, I think, had five of those games, and I think, you know, Jameis Winston had won yesterday, Like, this is a guy who shouldn't be the starting quarterback, you know going forward. Now I know he's out for the rest of the year, and I'm not saying Jameis Winston is the answer there, But I don't think we've ever doubted his talent.
I just I doubt his consistency.
No, he's not the quarterback I want, but he does have the ability to make throws and he's a risk taker and sometimes that benefits him and sometimes it benefits the defense. And they could have easily lost that because he overthrew a wide receiver, but they did win. They feel like they're more aggressive, and that's what you need to do. This team went to the playoffs last year. The difference is Deshaun Watson over Jameis Winston or Joe Flacco. But you're still stuck with that contract there. But you're watching that game and you're going, can I count on the Ravens and they're going to have one of these games in the postseason. Our good buddy Ross Chucker was on the call. He'll join us coming up next hour. As for the Jets, here's Aaron Rodgers after the loss to the Patriots.
Yeah, I've been in the darkness. You got to go in there make peace with it. Offensively, our goal has just got to be score thirty. Doesn't matter what the other two sides are doing. You know, we have trust in our defense and teams, but if we're not scoring thirty, we're underachieve in this offense. Can do that every single week.
Okay, you gotta make peace with the darkness. You know, I don't need a haikup here.
Brother. How about what I mean? How about we just go out and play?
How about we just connect a couple more passes? Yeah, how move the chains a little bit?
If we need to confront the darkness more than we need to move the chains.
Just I don't need doctor Phil.
We got to start doing something better than we be doing. You got this whole big quaerm Ain't got no fishing.
We be doing. We gotta make peace with the darkness.
I've been in there before. I've myself.
You know what, how about you make peace with the end zone. How about you?
How about we do something like that, take piece of a couple of dubs.
Oh my god, you got a rookie quarterback who gets hurt. The backup quarterback comes in. They're missing offensive defensive line, they have no skilled position play.
The whole week leading up to it was are the Patriots soft?
Yes? If so, what's that make the Jets?
Ye?
Don't you wonder what DeVante Adams is thinking?
No, I should have stayed with the Raiders. I mean I think we have a better chance to win with the Raiders.
Yes, Mark Friday's headline, Hello Darkness, my old friend. Oh okay, because after they lose to the Texans, they play Thursday night. Oh no, yeah, oh.
No, what Halloween. We'll get Simon and garfunkle on Paul Simon, Hello Darkness, my old friend.
Yes, Paul, if you go back with the Jets, though, if they get that Broncos game where they don't score a touchdown and they get yesterday's game that they should have had. What you you you're four and four and you've got games against like the Colts coming up, or the Seahawks and the Dolphins and the Jaguars. You could sneak in somewhere. But they just dug themselves the biggest hole.
Yeah, I'm watching a little bit of the Colts game.
I did turn it off, and I turned it off because I felt bad for Anthony Richardson. He shouldn't have been out there. Now I feel bad for the Colts too. Nthie Richardson has probably too much talent, and I don't know if he knows how to play the position. You know, when you're ten for thirty two. I think he was two for sixteen at one point, and I know he pulled himself out of the lineup. He said he was tired. Why why just say hey, something was wrong with my helmet.
Don't say I was tired.
When you think about it, of all the players now during the week, the quarterback works harder than any other players because he has to have the game plan, and you know it's mental when you play the game. The hardest positions are everybody else. When you think about it, lineman bang each other every play, running backs, wide receiver, everybody gets hit.
They're running. Quarterback may just dump a pass off.
He may hand off. He's getting tired. Not a good sign. And he was two for sixteen and I thought, you know what, there has to be a mercy rule for bad quarterback play and you need to take him out.
But they could have won the game.
Flacco probably would have won the game for him. It's wild, but it's that position where you're still trying to figure out who can play it and who can and you got the you know, Caleb Williams didn't look good, but he looked good when he needed to.
Very at the very end.
Jaden Daniels playing hurt game time decision. He's become an MVP candidate, and that's not necessarily the numbers, but he makes them feel different. Dan Quinn's done a really good job, but this is different because Jaden Daniels makes them different. And if he didn't play, they don't win. But there is that Hey, they still have a chance, and he proved that yesterday. Yes Eton.
That's part of the problem though with the Bears is that they have some good moments, but generally they they make a lot of mistakes. Seems like you know and that I mean that feels like a coaching issue.
Why are we Why are we handing the ball to an offensive lineman at the goal line?
Oh?
Like why? Why?
Why do we don't need to?
We don't?
Why do why get all cute? Don't need to? Why get so cute when you don't need to?
Oh?
My God, Buddha in San Francisco, Hi, Buddha, what's on your mind today?
What up?
DP?
Let's go Marvin? Uh, you guys nailed that. Hell Mary Booth call, Well done, guys, VP. This weekend was fascinating. I mean, so many storylines. I mean, this is definitely the best time of the year as far as sports goes.
All three major sports running at the same time. What a time to be alive. But uh, best of.
The weekend DP obviously Friday night in Los Angeles at eight thirty seven pm. The exact time and spot where in the right field batures that Kirk D. Gibson Junior, the third hit his walk off home run off of Dennis Eckersley thirty six years ago. What Freddie freaking Freeman hits a walk off Grand Slam for the win. I could hear the collective groan from all the Giants fans here in San Francisco. Dan, it was a moment in time I will never forget. And to quote the great Kobe Bryant in the Finals against Boston, job's not done. So we staw two games to go. Let's go, Fritzy.
Thank you Buddha, he said, there was a collective grown by Giants fans.
I would think Yankee fans maybe.
I don't know how many Giants fans there were, but Buddha was on a roll. So Chris and Syracuse, Oh hi, Chris, Hey, thanks Dan.
I'd like to throw out of best and worst. And I got a couple comments on the World Series. Yeah, my best just I Yeah. Game one was just unbelievable. I haven't enjoyed a baseball game like that in a long time. And my worst, Yeah, I feel bad for Aaron Judge. I think he's at I think thirty six percent of his bats something like that had been strikeouts and that's on a record pace for the for the postseason. And I got to keep playing in the game. Was in Game one? Was that miss quit second base wearing a Tony took third and he ended up coming in on the sack fly. I mean, if that hadn't happy, he wouldn't have to worry. He was going to pitch in the tenth inning. But I really think the Yankees. I think Judge turns it around the next three at nights and the Yankees go back to LA up three to two, and yeah, well Buddha said, that's pretty amazing. Eight thirty six or eight thirty seven, the exact same time.
Give me at his.
And yeah, I have a really awful mock headline for you, Dan, but I'm like a mathulite. I can't help myself. In nineteen eighty eight, Dodger fans had a Gibson Now thirty six later years later, he's a free man.
Okay, all right, Chris can do no wrong. He's on scholarship.
Absolutely.
Yeah, yeah, this dude doesn't realize that. Like him calling in, it's like all of a sudden, Elvis pops back. I was like, yeah, anyway, I's been here watching some games, you know, doing some family stuff for AnyWho.
Game Win Suer was fun, wasn't it?
All?
Right?
Well?
Oh my god, what do you can't just show up like that.
And there's no rhyme or reason for Chris because he was. He's in the Caller Hall of Fame. He's always got really good comments. He gets to the point. And for the first five years.
You know he was. He was mv MBC Most Valuable Caller.
Gust In la I guess.
Good more than mister patviac Well. I mean, it's gonna be tough to follow Christmas Eyracuse, but I'll do my best, So we'll dive right into it. Best of the weekend Friday Night, my Trojans figured out a way to win a game, My now three and O Lakers came back from twenty two down. If He's the Sun. And then Friday Night, Freddie Freeman hits arguably one of the most iconic home runs in World Series history, probably Baseball history. I said it. It probably gonna go down as one of the best. Okay, probably the bestest of the weekend. Saturday. Little backstory. A friend of mine that I grew up with. His name is Anthony Roblez. He became a wrestling national champion. He was born without his right leg. He wrote a book after college, and everything turned his book. Ben Affleck turned the book into a film Jalo's playing his mom. Saturday, they have the premiere at the Chinese Theater. My buddy hits me up and he says, hey, man, if you can come on down support, it'd be great. I said, great, I'm there, don't worry about it. I show up to the Chinese Theater further premiere. As I'm at the premiere, I get a phone call from a friend who's connected with the Dodgers in Major League Baseball and they tell me, how'd you like to come to Game two of the World Series. I'm like, I'm in Hollywood in a suit. There's no way I can make it. And they're like, dude, screw that. Come on to the game. And I'm like, threw it. I'm going to the game. So there, there I go. They came through the World Series in a suit and I'm there proudly representing my Dodgers for Game two of the World Series. That is the best of the weekend. I'm nervous as hell for tonight. Hopefully Otani's playing great. You boys have a great week man.
Listen to Gus crushing, gushing, gush, see what I did for that? Tonshing, Thank you, Todd, Julie and Charleston.
Hi, Jules, Hi, Damn Danna.
How you guys had a great weekend. I have multiple best for the weekend, personally the Command Skins and their Hail mary win, which was obviously awesome. Jayden Daniels wearing the NAT hat at the pressers. It was great representing all Washington sports there. The Cowgirls lose, so that was also great for us. My worst of the weekend, Dan, I need some advice. I am doing terribly in my pig in league. I just I just can't get it this week of this year.
Well, what I would do is I'd listen to the gambling podcast and then go opposite what those guys pick. That would probably be my best advice. Jules, thank you for calling in the Command Skins. Okay, I hope we're going to hear from James in Virginia because after that Hail Maryland passed.
Oh man, brother, good morning brother, right. I didn't think of him.
First thing I thought was that's embarrassing emphasis on B A R.
And then I thought of James in Virginia.
It's like, all right, it's like watching last night and watching the Niners and the Cowboys, and then I'm kind of you know, all right, all Dak throws an interception, I start thinking about Shay and Irving, who joins us. Now, good morning, Shae. What's on your mind today, Dannie's.
I don't even know what the point is anymore besides just pain and misery. I mean, the O line sucks, the owner sucks, the coach and his scheme sucks. It's a third straight game with two picks. The quarterback sucks, and he might want to start thinking less about proposing to his baby mama and start thinking about proposing a coaching change. His decision making is way off, Danny.
Yeah, but you know that you can't be surprised anymore.
I am surprised by how bad Dak's falling off. I am surprised about that, and I think that's a fair and reasonable take that is coming from a place of mental stability.
But he's not going anywhere, Like you can't do anything about it. He's not going anywhere.
That's not the point. He needs to get better somehow, and I think the only opportunity to have that the fat man out of Dallas. Well, they might lose our next floor.
Danny, that he's not going to be back next year.
He should his head should be on a pike. It should be a second. I don't.
I don't think that that's extreme, like firing firing.
I'm okay with there's no other chance here, Danny. It's lost. The season's over, and now they're talking about, Hey, we got to make changes. It's halfway through the season. This is a rap.
Okay, let go hold on here. We have dinner reservations tomorrow. Oh god, this can't carry. I was rooting for the Cowboys, so I didn't have you and your wife come over and I have to deal with this. If this is the way you're going to be tomorrow, then why don't we wait and try to do it when you think they're going to win and maybe maybe in a month. Okay, but you got to get it together. If you're coming over here, because my wife doesn't understand this fandom, your wife probably doesn't understanding either.
My wife and daughters are just so embarrassed. They keep telling me, Daddy, how come all your teams are bad? Like I've got a choice in the matter.
Okay, get it together, text me later, and if you can't get past this for tomorrow's dinner, then we'll just postpone it.
That's fair, all right, Danny, all right?
That's Shy and Irving are of the Gambling podcast.
These aren't normal things you're supposed to think of, Hey, Commanders, just one James in Virginia. Hey, the Cowboys lost, Shay and Irving, you know, I think of Gus whenever.
Ela.
You know, you get caught up in your audience and what they root for, because I don't root for anybody. I just want a great story. If the Bears won yesterday, all right, great story, Commander's winning, greater story. That's all you root for. When you're hosting, that's all you want. Something that is different, something that you can talk about without, you know, or get a guest on to talk about something good or bad bad, prefer my ass supposed to. I think we spent the whole morning so far with the Jets are bad. The Yankees analytics and their philosophy. See that's Aaron Boone manages his way out of more wins than any manager I can. I can think of Gosh, John Shombi, who was on the call for the Mothership for the World series. He'll join us, coming on. Because if you have your analytics, I have my analytics. Hey, We're going to bring in a left handed pitcher had pitched in five weeks. He's going to pitch to a left handed batter who's really really good against left handers.
With the bases loaded, we'll.
Take a break. Our play of the day is up next.
Be sure to catch the live edition of The Dan Patrick Show weekdays at nine am Eastern six am Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio.

That's courtesy of Jim Nance CBS Tony Romo with the call, and that's your play of the day. There was a lot of work that went into that, not a lot of work on the face part of it, but the rest of it looked great. And he comes out and I honestly thought he was going, who is that?
That ain't me? As Seaton says, it looks like Lawrence Fishburne, Oh well good call. Yeah, yes, Paul.
It also looks like, if you haven't seen it yet, it looks like he's driving a motorcycle that's not there. His hands are up like this and he's gripping something and there's no motorcycle, but it looks like he's he's ready to crash.
Yeah, he's on a motorcycle and he's ready to crash.
Yeah, Seon, has anyone seen the maybe like the picture? Yeah, that's used for inspiration. That might be the part that's missing here.
Well, it's like with Jerry West and the logo.
There was an actual photograph of Jerry, you know, dribbling down the floor that they took for the logo. I don't know if they go, hey, we're gonna put the picture up there next to the statue.
Huh pretty close?
Huhuh.
That one's bad.
You can't have some type of approval process before right before it's unveiled.
I think Dwayne Wade was working with the sculptor.
But but you don't know how you look, do you?
Like?
We have people who send in, you know, pictures, caricatures of us, like that one of you, Paulie where receding hairline Like it doesn't look spot on, It doesn't look like you.
But thank you to this person God's sake, thank you.
It looks more. You look worse than that.
I sometimes I know, but I like, I don't know if you know how you look when you go, yeah, you nailed it?
Yes?
Don is it ungrateful for Dwyane Wade After the ceremony behind closed door to say you know, thanks again. This is such an eye. I never thought I'd have a statue of myself outside of that. Can we change the head to make it look more like who I actually?
Yeah?
I don't know how that works.
I don't know if that's where his wife, Gabrielle Union says, Honey, that ain't the man I'm married. Who is that? But you got a statue? I got a statue. All right, let's play the NFL game. Paulie Marvin, give us some music if you can't.
Please, I remember last week we brought you the hot new game off or off off. That means you're off the band. We yeah, from the same people brought you that game. We're doing done or done done. I'm gonna mention a team.
Wait, so this is not like off or off off.
It's an offshoot of it.
Off off shoot.
Yes, from the people who brought you Yeah off all Tyler Perry Presents, we bring you done done.
Right.
If a team is done, you think they're they're not looking good and a playoffs is unlikely.
They're done.
But done done means you'd better week's pay. They do not make the postseason.
Oh, done done.
Let's start off with I'll give you a two for both the New England Patriots and New England and New York Jets combined. Done or done?
Done?
Done?
Done, yeah, easy one right.
Don throw a Dolphins in there too.
We're going AFC East done done.
Those are the only team alive in the AFC East. Everybody else is.
Done done, done, dumb yeah, Okay.
That's wild. This is a tougher one. The Cincinnati Bengals at three and five, third place in the AFC.
Doors all right, Danielovsky keep saying, you know they could get on a roll. You know they could get on I think they have the Ravens coming up next week. That's not where you go to get on a roll. Three and five. Pittsburgh is better than we thought. Cleveland can play spoiler. I'm gonna say, Dunne done done. Yeah, but you're hesitating well because of Joe Burrow.
So that's a done.
Yeah. I guess I would. I can squeak by with it one done, yes, Hunt Bengals.
Host the Raiders, but then they're at the Ravens.
The Raiders, then the Ravens. Okay, all right, so.
They could get on a roll, get to five hundred. But we're talking about making the playoffs.
Yes, okay, the dundun means no chance of posts the AFC South teams of the Colts, Jaguars, and Titans. Even though the Colts are four and four. Who thinks those three teams are done done?
Yeah, they are all done done. I agree, done done, Dundune.
Unless Joe Flacco takes over.
The Las Vegas Raiders at two and six losing.
Four straight, Yes, they're done done. Yeah, they're done yeah, done done. Yeah. Yeah.
Let's go to the Dallas Cowboys at three and four, losing two in a row, third place in their division.
I'm gonna say they're they're not done done, no.
Just done.
Yeah.
Now, the Eagles might turn out to be really good, like right before our very eyes, you know where it feels like they're on the verge of either they go to the super Bowl or they don't make the playoffs and their coach gets fired.
Would anyone like to hot take the Cowboys and say done done?
No, I'm not ready to say the Cowboys are done dumb, not yet.
None yet.
Weirdly, the Chicago Bears in this, even though they have a winning record. The four more and three last in their division.
They're not done done now they're done.
Ish, Well, wait, if you're done, then what's that mean?
Very little chance to make the playoffs, But you're not completely off the bang? On which would we be off off off.
From last week? Okay? No, I would say that they're they're done.
They like to have a pretty friendly schedule coming up.
Yeah, oh it's actually no. They have to play all their division opponents in a.
Swap okay, swah swah swap.
NFC North, I would throw out, well, we're taking Carolina. That's over the New Orleans Saints at two and six. They've lost six in a row.
How they're done done? Yeah? Yeah, done, done, done done.
That's it. We did it.
Yeah.
