Dan was glad to see that Jake Paul didn’t hurt Mike Tyson even though it certainly looked like he could have done serious damage. And Dan breaks down what he saw during Week 11 of the NFL season.

In no particular order. Texans at the Cowboys tonight the Cowboys at home, giving seven. There is no more undefeated team in the NFL as the Bills beat the Chiefs, and an incredible performance by Josh Allen, who has now become the leader in the clubhouse for MVP this according to DraftKings. Second on the list is Lamar Jackson. Then it's Jared Goff. If Jared Goff didn't have that game where he threw four interceptions was it four or five? Five interceptions, he might be above Lamar Jackson. But right now it's Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Jared Goff, Jalen Hurts, and then Patrick Mahomes. But Alan was wonderful yesterday. Once again. He's good during the regular season, and you probably have the same reaction. Can you do it again, Mahomes says to Josh Allen. Let's do it again later on this season. That means it'll probably be in Kansas City, and that's what we'll wait for. Steelers hold off the Ravens. There are, let's see, eighteen games this season where a team didn't score a touchdown. The Steelers have two of the four wins in those those games where a team didn't score a touchdown, and four of those teams have won. The Steelers have it and done it twice as they hold on to beat the Ravens. This is always a slugfest. It doesn't matter how good the team is or how bad the team is. Doesn't mean if one team is really good and one team isn't, it's gonna come down to normally a field goal and you had a chance for Lamar Jackson. But the Steelers hold off the Ravens. Last night, the Chargers over the Bengals. Chargers look unbelievable in the first half, The Bengals look unbelievable in the second half. Some bad kicking. Bad kicking was prevalent throughout the NFL. But Joe Burrow is putting up incredible numbers and has nothing to show for it. When you look at the stats and you go, he's thrown for three hundred yards, He's thrown for three touchdowns, no interceptions. And he's done that, I think three times this year, and he's lost all three games. Almost statistically impossible to throw for three hundred have three touchdowns and no interceptions, and they lost last night. But when you're looking at perfection, Jared Goff four hundred yards, four touchdowns, another perfect passer rating. Seventh time in league history a quarterback has thrown for at least four hundred yards with four more passing touchdowns and a perfect passer rating. Well, guess who is the only quarterback to have two of those? Jared Goff.
Stan A Deckaday, Stanataday.
This is the Stata, the.
NAE stat of Today, brought to you by Panini America. We'll take your phone calls as we always do every Monday, best and worst of the weekend Operator Tyler sitting by. We'll come up with a pole question play the day stat of the Day. Good morning, if you're watching on Peacock, Thank you for downloading the app. We say good morning to our radio affiliates around the country, including iHeartRadio and Fox Sports Radio. I like the Seahawks. I thought they were a playoff team. That's a big win against the Niners, and I like what I saw with Anthony Richardson. Anthony Richardson is younger than Shador Sanders by a couple of months, and I'm glad that the Colts went back to him. I'm glad Carolina went back to Bryce Young. We forget we're kicking kids to the curb when they're twenty one, twenty two, twenty three. Give them a little bit of time, try to have some patience. And I was happy for Richardson. I don't have a rooting interest, but I did root for him to play well. Uh, don't ruled out Georgia in the national title picture with a big win over Tennessee. You got Oregon with a scare, Ohio State, Texas, Penn State. The DPA bomb, I gave you Kansas over BYU.
Thank you, thank you for the sound.
Sex there, Paul, he wasn't here on Friday, so I had to step in and show him how it's done. Crossed tea bomb. It was a DPA bomb. Notre Dame rules as well. And then I think there was a fight on Friday night. It was Jake Paul against Mike Tyson. I think it was, but I watched, at least I tried to watch and then I'm watching on my phone, and then all of a sudden, I'm watching on Antonio Brown's stream, Like, I mean, Netflix, you got to get it together. You got six weeks before you got football games on Christmas Day. So I'm watching that, and I thought at one point that Jake Paul was being respectful to Mike and he could have hurt him, probably could have knocked him out, and I'm glad that he didn't. So you can say whatever you want about Jake Paul. I don't think he's a great boxer. I don't think he's a good boxer. I think he's a great marketer. And he held Mike up and Mike didn't have any spring in his step. As I've said many many times, if Mike doesn't get you in the first round, he's not going to get you. Jake Paul is probably a better boxer, well, certainly now. But I just didn't want Mike embarrassed, that's all. And then when he said he wanted to fight Jake Paul's brother, I go, no, Mike, We're not going to do this again. Sixty million households tuned in for that, or at least tried to with Netflix. The undercard was great, the women awesome, and then all of a sudden, you're watching and there weren't any real standout punches, no real flurries or anything like that, and Mike biting on his gloves during I didn't He says he has some biting fixation. Oh we know that, Mike. But Mike got paid and Jake Paul is gonna take on somebody else again. Go back to when Jake Paul fought Nate Robinson, remember the.
Former NBA player.
He fought him, and Nate Robinson's like, okay, can people now get off my back that I lost to Jake Paul. And I guess everybody you know was picking on him. Tyson loses to him, and uh, I mean, it's not Murder's row of who he's defeated. He hadn't beat anybody, but he's a great marketer, did a wonderful job with this. And then it's buyer and beware, as I said before, you can hate him. He wants you to hate him, but he wants you to pay to hate him, and that's what you had with that fight. But I'm glad that he let Mike walk out with some dignity there because Mike was spent at the at the end of that boxing match.
All right, seton pole, question, what do we have today?
Oh?
Oh, wait a minute here, Yeah, do we have a quick NFL game?
Yes, we have a quick NFL breaking news. Quick is game?
Thing?
Dan, so work shopping at thing? Okay, it's a fill in the blank? Would you like to play?
Yes? I think we all do.
Okay, it's a fill in the blank. Blank has benched blank in favor of blank to recap. Okay, Blank has benched blank in favor of blank at the quarterback position?
Is the hints?
Okay?
Now, I was kind of surprised that this was sort of breaking news because I thought this had already happened with his team, right. Weren't we told that this quarterback was going to be benched for the rest of the season so he didn't get injured, therefore they'd have to pick up his contract the following year.
That was the speculation, but not the actual action.
Oh oh, okay, so you're the right path.
The Giants have benched Danny Dimes and Tommy DeVito. Yes, it's fifteen minutes of fame are extended. Tommy de vite, miss, Drew Locke Tommy Soami is going to be I don't know, Todd, you thought Drew Locke was going to get the start. I'm seeing where it's Tommy Vito. Tommy Soami is going to be playing in. Daniel Jones, I guess will be the third string quarterback. And this in large part because they don't want him to play because he has the injury clause that he'll get paid twenty million dollars.
What else do you have on this, Paul? Real quick?
This is an organizational tank.
Correct, yes, And it's almost like respected like we're trying to get the top five draft pick.
It's over.
How would this go over?
If you said that the Lakers were going to bench Anthony Davis.
Let's just use an NBA analogy.
You have to believe that that commissioner would step in and say, hey, for competitive balance, you must play your best players.
Yes, are you calling Anthony Davis the Daniel Jones of the NBA? Feels I gotta say that feels like you're going hot take or something.
Wait, Seaton, I had to go Lakers because that's how you get clicked. So let's just say the Nuggets bench Jamal Murray. And let's say there was something to do with his contract. Would Adam Silver step in and say a healthy scratch? Would he allow that to happen? Because I don't think Roger Goodell is going to step in and say, wait a minute. For competitive balance, you got to play your best players.
Yes, see, what exactly is giving you the impression that playing Daniel Jones.
Puts the competitive balance back in order? Right?
All right?
The only other time this has happened Dan, this scenario.
I gotta say, I mean, I'm trying to. I'm just kind of poking holes through the argument here a little bit.
And it's tough. It's tough with Daniel Jones.
In April twenty twenty three, the NBA find that Dallas Mavericks for conduct detrimental to the league after the team rested key players that were healthy late in the season and Mark Cuban was on our show.
Yeah, he admitted that and it cost him seven to fifty I don't know, seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars for admitting that they were tanking.
Yeah.
Are the Giants tanking or the Giants just want to make sure that they don't have to pay Daniel Jones.
Or both? Yes, Tom it's a seam's point.
De Vito's had his moments. He's no great quarterback, but the way Daniel Jones has been playing, you know, maybe they're you know, they want a tank. But what if Tavita ends up playing better than they want him.
To play in the coming weeks.
I just want to say that was not my point.
By the way, So you think Tommy DeVito maybe the spark the Giants need, then they can sign him to a forty million dollars a year contract.
What if he starts playing too well, you're bringing Drew Locke. They pull him in the middle of the second quarter because he threw a couple of touchdamnp ins.
Oh look at look who's got all their Bronco gear on? Yeah, it's it's we when we're back.
Still got a long way to go. I gotta go four and to the rest of the way to get the ten wins.
They they do not we do we they we.
They wee wee wee they we You well the fence right now by where things are going.
You guys blew out the Falcons.
Congratulations, they're red place in the division and we got to go four and two to get the ten wins. Still got to put a charge the Chiefs again.
I watched the Falcons and I go, yeah, that's the team I picked to win the division to what is wrong with them? And then kirkd Cousins gets bench from Michael Pennix Junior the third I'm like, Okay, maybe a little spark there, a little drama, all right? What other poll questions do you have?
Seaton? No counter? Uh, let's see.
Why don't we start with our Monday regular worst loss of the weekend? Okay, worst of the weekend Tennessee like the Bengals.
Oh oh? I thought, well, yeah, that's right. Can be anybody, be anybody? We could start with your Bengals.
It feels like it could be the Bengals every week where you watch them and you go, what is what's missing here that I don't know? You can't have this kind of season statistically, And before the season started I had Joe Burrow as my Dark Corse MVP. But they could have won it. Herbert almost threw a pick six. I mean, I'm not completely confident with the Chargers with what they did, but they won the game. Todd, do you have a worse loss of the weekend?
Candidate.
The worst loss of the weekend, I'm going to give to the Marvins forty nine ers. I watched that unfold and they had the game. They're in San Francisco in a very tight NFC West, playing a division rival, and to not spy Gino Smith, I'll have an answer to him. Just running like that right into the end zone with twelve seconds left in the game.
That was just brutal.
Hey good for Gino Smith. I mean, that's not as impressive as Josh Allen's run, but man, it's up there. That's a big club performance by him. And the forty nine Ers are in last place. No granted I think they're a game and a half out of first place, but they're in last place right now. And the Rams taking care of business against the Patriots, because I thought that's one of those tricky games that Drake May and the Patriots Rams coming cross country, gonna play at one o'clock.
And Matthew Stafford was awesome. Yes, Pauline, I have a couple.
Worst losses in college football, Like the BYU loss is really bad for their chances because they controlled her own destiny, which you cannot do. The Tennessee loss they're still in the mix. The LSU lost to Florida. LSU is in the national title picture a couple weeks ago. And now you're in hot Seatville at six and four after losing to Florida.
That's ugly.
Yeah yeah, hot seat.
Ville is not a town you want to be in. I've been there.
A seaton. Do you have a worst loss of the weekend? Yeah, Well, we're gonna split it up now to NFL and college football questions because we have enough of those. Okay, uh, well do we go Mike Tyson? Well no, let's go around the room. Worst loss of the weekend? Marvin. Do you have a Mike Tyson lost this weekend?
Oh?
Is that going to be yours? Yeah? He lost this weekend?
Yeah?
Yeah yeah? Can Wes in there.
Or okay, sure, Yeah, I'm not surprised. I said, best case scenario is that it goes to the distance and nobody gets knocked out and Mike maintains his dignity. But I like how people say, oh, that was a ripoff. What did you think it was going to be? Like everybody got caught up in and once I saw that, Drake bet three hundred thousand dollars on Tyson. I go, oh, poor Mike, he not winning? Can he go the distance?
Yes?
Tom and Shack put.
A big bet down or he was going to on Tyson when he was on with us.
Look that's what he said. Yeah, that's what he said. I don't know what he put down. Yeah, PAULI.
I'll throw in the Bear's loss as a bad NFL loss this weekend, not because they are going to do anything or go on a run or anything like that, but it would have been a nice day during an ugly season and all you needed was like forty yard field goal to have the Bears fans have a nice home win against the Packers, which would have been like, you know, like ok in Michigan beats Ohio State or whatever. If you could do that, it has a nice week over a pre yucky season.
There was a package in the Bears game that they had twelve men on the field and they were offside and they still gave up the touchdown.
They should be allowed twelve men on the field.
That's how things are going with the Bears.
They had twelve men on the field and they were offside and they still gave up the touchdown.
I wouldn't feel great if I'm a Packer fan. After that game, I mean, you guys barely held on a block field goal.
All right, we're running late. Let's take a break here.
I have a candidate for worst loss, bad bad loss, bigger picture loss. I'll have that for you. All right, We'll take a break. Just getting started here, phone calls as well. We're back after this Dan Patrick show.
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in the nation. Catch all of our shows at Fox Sports Radio and within the iHeartRadio app. Search FSR to listen live.
Get to your phone calls. Best and worst of the weekend settle on our poll question today, I said that, to me, the worst loss of the weekend might have been the Jacksonville Jaguars. Now, they were fourteen point underdogs against Detroit. I didn't think they would win, but I didn't think they would go out the way they did fifty two to six. By the way, that score has never happened in the history of the NFL. Fifty two to six. I think there've been over one thousand different scores in the history, maybe close to eleven hundred different scores in the history of the NFL. We've never had a fifty two to six. I thought that Doug Peterson was going to get fired. Now this is their bye week. They do have a schedule that's pretty friendly the rest of the season. There's a chance they could win all of those games or maybe lose just one of those games. I always find that owners, when they know they want to fire their coach, you don't want to give them the opportunity to kind of win back their job. And I don't know if Sead Cohn's going to fire Doug Peterson during the bye week. What are the Jags during the bye week, PAULI.
They after the bye week? Or how many points they get during the bye week?
Oh yeah, they're gett four and a half of the bye week.
Okay, but I take the bye week. Yeah.
After the bye week, they have Texans, Titans, Jets, Raiders, Titans, Colts winnable from a normal.
Team, they could win those not the Texans probably, but they could win those games. And then you start to hear the rumors swirl once again, rumors that that's the team Bill Belichick wants to coach. And this came up weeks ago. It might have been Mike Florio saying that Belichick looking at Jacksonville, and I don't know. Trent Bulkey is the GM and they've worked together, and Mike Florio speculating that, I mean this is sort of the behind the scenes chatter with Bill Belichick that Belichick does one two indeed coach again. There are numerous reports pregame yesterday. All righty Buddha in San Francisco, Hi Buddha, what's on your mind?
What U?
DP?
Happy Monday?
Boys play nights fritzy, Let's go uh Marvin Prince, nice lid, but oh man DP. Seeing the Chiefs go down and thinking about how Nick Wright is going to justify this loss just makes my soul smile. Plus he was taking shots last time he was on. But Dan, can you do me a favor and let Tom Brady know that referring to the red zone as the red area is not going to catch on and just makes them sound even more confused. Slash Awkward in his color commentator role, it's like it was killing yesterday. But I digress. Dam worst of the weekend, my nine ers, I mean, my goodness, we choked up a victor home to the sea chickens. I mean, Gino Smith out there running around like like he was Vince Young against you know, Texas at USC it was like just not good, good and best of the weekend. Then the Chargers not charging and losing a close game. I mean, how refreshing was that. I mean the whole first house. I was like, okay, I've seen this movie before. Chargers up big the second half, everybody comes back, Bengals come, you know, storing back. It was all set for another letdown and the curse was broken. Jim Harbaugh stamped his mojo on the franchise, and hopefully they can make a run into the postseason. I mean, this would be a fun team to watch. So let's go Seaton, all.
Right, Thank you, Buddha eight seven to seven to three DP show. Speaking of the Bears, here's the Bears Radio Network with the call on what could have been the game winning field.
Goal Packers twenty fairs nineteen. Scott Daily on the ball. Taylor will extend his right hand on cue from Cairo Santo South, ends on upright snap placemaker here is blocked up by the Green Bay Packers, and they will survive and leave with an eleventh consecutive win over the Bears.
Crusher.
It could have been a bright day in an otherwise overcast month for the Chicago Bears. That sound if I was a columnist, that would be my first line. It could have been a bright day and an otherwise overcast month for the Chicago Bears. Here is Matt Eberflus, the Bears head coach, on his locker room.
You know, I've said this before.
I know who's in that locker room.
And I know the men in the locker room, and they're strong, and they're and they're they're players, you know, and they're tight, you know, in terms of their relationship. So the guys will come back and get back to work, you know. So there's you know, always a resolve, always a respect for each other to be able to come into work and.
Uh and get the job done.
And we just got to punch that ticket already.
There's certain things you hear, and if you're a grown man, you're going they're not gonna they're not gonna swallow that. Hey, we need to get together and work hard and then we're gonna punch our ticket.
Who's with me?
Uh?
I have to believe there's certain coaches who practice their speeches. Maybe they get their wife or family together, Okay, I was thinking about this. No, no, no, don't that's cheesy, Dad, don't do that. Okay, what about this? Matt Eberflew, there's nothing he can say. In fact, there's too much attention directed toward the Chicago Bears. They're not a good team. They'll have a new coach next year. Their quarterback is not played well. He's been outplayed by at least two fellow rookie quarterbacks and maybe three.
Bon Nicks was great.
Yesterday, played wonderful, and he's athletic, but do you have four touchdowns? They played great, They're a playoff caliber Tine. I thought Drake may played pretty well in the loss to the Rams. Jayden Daniels, I mean it. Caleb Williams kind of waiting for him to show up here. Probably won't happen until next season. Raj in Chicago, Hey Roj, what's on your mind today?
Say good morning, miss attached, thanks for taking my call. I got a double worst this week, man number one for sure, that Tyson, Jake Paul things, sparring match whatever they had just bad. I couldn't even watch it on Netflix.
I have to watch it on.
TikTok and then the AAU basketball Phetnam's Julian Newman. Years ago they talked about this kid. He's twenty three freshman, can ai still taking it up? I think that's a problem with basketball. Got to get these kids some.
More ro ro You can't. That's a random topic on a Monday.
Football and you know what it's It's unnecessary to pile on Julian Newman.
It really is, it really is. Everybody knows and didn't work out for the kid.
Yeah, and nobody's following his career, but thank you run.
He's twenty three, he's yeah, five seven, and I think he just got started playing this freshman year.
There there are a lot of other things, bigger picture wrong with college athletics, not somebody playing Hey.
You could just you can just add it to the list. Really, yes, yes, yes, that being said.
Julian Newman's got to step up his game a little bit.
Like Chris wink playing when he's twenty eight years of age in college.
That to me, that's probably a bigger deal.
Than somebody playing nia they're twenty three, okay, twenty three and me, oh you see what I did with that time? Although is twenty three in me going out of business? I think they did. They filed for bankrupt thought.
I saw something about that. They're having some financial woes.
That's usually what happens when you file for bank thinks.
Are going, well, yeah, what if they what if they have been at some point? You know all these things. We just made it up where you're not related to anybody, You're not from here.
Hey, we're having an unbelievable year. We're gonna file them for bankruptcy. Yeah, all right, Seaton, did we settle on a poll question or do we have a couple of them?
Yeah, we got a couple of them.
We already put up their worst college football loss this weekend, bigger l this weekend, Mike Tyson or Netflix?
Oh, definitely Netflix, Definitely Netflix. You're going like the whole thing when holy Field got up there and they're trying to interview him and then he can't hear, and everybody's making the same joke about his ear, and.
It was just unprofessional. It was really for.
A company that big. How many I don't know how many rehearsals you had. I love Rosie Perez, God, I love her. I don't know if I want her on the boxing coverage there or it just felt like the whole cast was misplaced there. I thought Ariel Hilwani did a wonderful job, our good buddy. You know, when you're in the thick of things doing those interviews in the ring. It just it felt like it was minor league in their approach.
Yeah, PAULI, Yeah, it almost matched the awkwardness of the fight itself, because nothing really happened.
All right, I've been staving this for a little bit.
But Holyfield, can't hear they're asking him a question. He just staring straight ahead and he's got his sunglasses on. I'm going Evander, Evander, just like.
Huh okay, do you guys think Mike Tyson did his best?
Do you think he gave full effort at any point in that fight.
I watched some of those training videos and he looked like he's in shape, and other training videos they speed him up, they edit him.
I don't know if he was.
Oh you think they sped up his training video?
Oh yeah, they put out these training videos and they speed up the rate so they show better.
On social media.
Wow.
Very clear, But it never felt like Mike was going for it. Maybe at the end of a round he'd throw one. I'm not calling a fight fixed. It felt like Mike showed up and knew his role in the in the show, his role in the show.
I hate to say that I agree because I Mike kept saying that, you know, this is real. And then we had the slap at the weigh in and Arielhelwani came on and said, hey, Mike has that look and it's scary, and his son said, oh my gosh, my dad has that look. And I think Jake Paul knew exactly. He strikes me as a scripted person. He knows what he's going to do. His his risks are very, very calculated. That's why he hand picks these opponents.
Yeah.
See, well, you know that's interesting because it feels like what's being implat is that if he wanted to, Mike Tyson could have won.
No that he I could have.
He was paid to throw the fight there, which to me, I got the exact opposite, like I think Mike Tyson actually did try to win, and I think very quickly Jake Paul realized there's no way this dude. I could kill this dude right now if he wanted to, and he just held him up the whole ring.
The whole ring every round.
Yeah, there were times that Mike Tyson he literally stopped moving in the ring. He wasn't even moving his feet. He just stood there with his hands up. He wasn't even moving his feet. And then it would be, you know, fifteen seconds later, it would snap any be.
Like, oh wait, I gotta move a little bit. It was like they were jolting him. Yeah, hey, oh this is still going on. Oh okay, sorry, yeah, let me fight.
Having seen so many Mike Tyson fights, his legs were gone, and when your legs go, you're in trouble.
And he didn't.
He came out knee brace and there was no real spark there. And then I thought, okay, I think he kind of knew or got to that point where once you get in the ring, then you get a sense of maybe this this is gonna go his way. And Jake Paul, he hand picked Mike. If they were both twenty seven, Jake Paul wouldn't even be in the building with Mike Tyson, he wouldn't be in the state with Mike Tyson. So he hand picked him. He knew what he was getting. He capitalized on it. He made a lot of money, so did Mike. I don't want to see Mike fight again. Yes, Paul, it.
Did feel like a three quarter speed sparring session where there is no thunderous punches from either person, there's no knockout tries by either person. It's like, let's put on a show, let's go as many rounds as we can, we know the result, and let's get out of here and get our checks. You know, I remember that TV show The Hills where you weren't sure if it was reality or scripted.
That felt like this where I never watched The Hill Dan. You used to come in on Monday.
Was that Christian Cavaleri don't do that.
What are you doing?
Don't act like you didn't watch it.
No, no, no, I'm disappointed I didn't watch it. After seeing Christian Cavalerian when she does her social media post, I'm like, Wow, it's.
Been over for twelve years, so it's a perfect time for you to dive into it.
For me to go back, it's choosal a decade. Then I go back and watch these shows. My wife will say, what are you watching The Hills for? I don't know, Yes, Todd.
Within Mike's very short answers in the boxer, and once it was over extremely short sponsors, were you surprised or is he just playing a game about how he said he's now? He didn't say I'm not fighting anymore. What were you expecting him to say when he.
I just tuned it out. I don't want to hear it. He should not fight. They shouldn't have sanctioned it. It was an event. It was in a boxing match. It was an event. And if you're fooled by it, disappointed by it, buyer, beware. Jake Paul is a businessman. He knows exactly what he was doing. And Mike, to his credit, hitched his wagon too. Jake Paul and we just didn't see anything there.
This is where.
And I've said this before about Tiger Woods, that I wanted to see him one more time so a new generation could experience Tiger Woods. And then he wins at Augusta, and then I was like, great, I don't care what happens after that. A new generation got to see Tiger be Tiger. You weren't going to see that with Mike, not at age fifty seven or even forty seven, and maybe even thirty seven. Credit to Jake Paul, he made a lot of money. That's what he was setting, That's what.
He wanted to do.
He's an influencer. Alan Atlanta, hi Al, welcome back. Best and worst of the weekend.
Good morning, Dan. Best of the weekend. Excuse me taking my mom to her first ever NBA game and having her fall in love with a new French kid for Atlanta, the nineteen year old Rechache. Now maybe I can get her into basketball have her follow another sport. Worst of the weekend, Just how much my football weekend was built up with Illinois beating Michigan State, allowing me to gloat to my Michigan State family members for once, and the University of Georgia beating Tennessee. It was a great Saturday. And then Sunday comes and I don't even take Fritzigan's claim that that was a catch and fumble that allowed the Broncos to go up twenty eight to six, and then to have Kirk started drive and completely just throw it away with a pick where he was trying to do too much. It was a painful watch. I turned off the game at the start of the fourth quarter and went downstairs. And then I couldn't even take not finishing the game. So I came back upstairs and turned it back on, just to truly feel the detrimental pain of losing thirty eight to six to the Broncos and watching Bonnicks act like he was Tom Brady out there just throwing the ball around, making our defense look pathetic. It was so painful to watch. I can't even take it talking bye. So maybe at least I can wake up on a Monday and not be in pain.
Thank you, thank you. Bo Nix was looking like John Elway, not Tom Brady. But bo Nicks played well. Give credit. Sean Payton's done. He had a lot of heat on him. You get rid of Russell Wilson. Then all of a sudden, you know, it's like, all right, you got your quarterback, let's see what you can do. And he found his quarterback. They score. They're scoring a lot of points this year, and they had a really good defense earlier in the season, and maybe they're going to be, you know, playoff contender.
Spoiler yes, Paulin.
Yeah, bo Knicks stats are creeping up on me a little bit. He's got twenty three hundred yards, sixty six percent passer, fourteen touchdowns, six interceptions, and the six and five.
That's a that's above average.
What are Joe Burrow's numbers?
See, like twenty seven touchdowns in four interceptions?
Yeah, that's like Aaron Rodgers six years ago.
Is that what his numbers are? Twenty seven and four?
Yeah, twenty seven and four, leading the league in touchdown passes.
Something's missing there, yes, Todd.
How do you have numbers like that? And now they need to go six and o basically to possibly make the playoffs.
I'm going to guess they're not going to make the playoffs, Todd, not.
Going to win their less six games ago tenants.
Now I'm going to be out out on the Bengals game.
Yeah, because Burrow is playing as well as any quarterback statistically and they're not winning.
It's not a good sign.
Let me take a break. We got our play of the day up next. The Hall of Famer Steve Young, always a fan favorite, to join us coming up next hour.
We're back after this.

Fakes the throw, Alan gonna step up in the pocket.
Now he's gonna take it a run, and he's got the first.
Down of the More ten five and muscles his way into the end zone for an unbelievable twenty six yard touchdown run.

I forgot what the menu was for Thanksgiving, Paulie, Do you have any information on that for me?
Yeah?
The early game on CBS on Thanksgiving Day is Bears at Lions, which hard to picture the Bears keeping up in that one in that track meet. And then the late the afternoon game, the prime one, which is actually the most watched. Believer or not, it's GIANTI Cowboys, which on paper sounds great. Six weeks ago, but now it's Tommy DeVito versus Cooper Rush.
Thanks.
I'm still hoping for a Trey Lance siding, just to make it a little more interesting.
Maybe the biggest thing in that game is watching how the sunsets in Cowboys Stadium.
That might be the most enticing reason to tune in.
And then they see where they put up. They put up the curtains for the boxing match. I joked about it, but they put up the curtains for that. And then the Sunday night or the Thursday night game on NBC is.
The late one is Dolphins at Packers.
All Right, I.
Haven't given up on the Dolphins. Now you beat the Raiders, but I what have they got their four and six? I haven't given up on them. And the AFC is open the fact that Colts are still in the hunt for a playoff spot. The Broncos would have a playoff spot. NFC is a little tougher sledding. Jim NaN's had a great call on Josh Allen's touchdown run. Here is Josh Allen talking about Josh Allen's touchdown run fourth and two.
I appreciate coach for trusting us. Really had to play for man could have checked out of it. You know they they held a pretty good man look. They dropped out to zone again, just trying to create and keep the play alive there as a crease and just trusted defeat.
You know, this is who he is.
I do rail on quarterbacks who run, but when they don't run with a game plan, that's the problem that I have. Josh Allen is at times is bigger than anybody who's going to be on the field chasing him. Certainly those defensive backs and I think they probably had seven or eight tacklers potential tacklers in that moment.
But that was great.
That's what you want. I want an MVP to be an MVP, and he certainly was and it's his to lose. Gus in La Hi, Gus, welcome back.
Good morning mister Patrick Hofe. You and the boys had a great weekend. Get into this best of weekend my eight and two Steelers.
Man.
I mean, looks, hey, we have like the ugliest offensive show on the hit on Sunday, but we got it done, don't know how. Yeah, it was great to watch that put an end to all this. Oh the Ravens of the New Lombardi. You know, hosts. I was tired of hearing that good thing to hear worst of the weekend. Now, I know, I always give the Dallas Cowboys crap because, let's face it, when Dallas loses, America wins every week. But Friday night, I'm watching this horrible exhibition on Netflix and I see the curtains closed. That right there. It honestly pissed me off because if I was a Cowboys fan, I would sit there and realize at that moment, Jerry Jones does not care about the one reason why he is a billionaire. He does not care about the success of the Dallas Cowboys. He'd rather prioritize a post Maal Loon concert and an exhibition boxing match than closing the curtains and making it able you're all pro one hundred million dollar receiver to see the ball. I don't get why Jerry Jones has to have those windows open when it's an obvious detriment to your team.
Buddy, Gus guys have this gene in their DNA that they don't want we double down.
We never go.
You know what, you guys are right, and there's no billionaire who wants to be told by the regular people, Hey, close the curtain. Well, it's a home field advantage for us, it is. But I've never met somebody who go, you know what, I love when the sun is shining in my face and I'm trying to catch a football during an NFL. I've never met anybody who would say that. But Jerry doubled down on it. Absolutely. He's not going to let you tell him how to run his football team. And this is part of the problem with Jerry. That's why he got rid of Jimmy Johnson because Jimmy got more credit than Jerry, so to the detriment of his team. That's where it started, the detriment of his team. He got rid of Jimmy because Jimmy was getting too much credit.
Yeah.
Point, Jerry's more likely to add more windows after the season. He's more likely to take out a few seats and put a few more windows in, let more ladd in.
It'd be great if if his stadium could host the Sun Bowl. We would like to host the Sun Bowl.
I do love that.
That was like one of the first stories to come out of the fight though.
Curtains close curtains. Yeah, yeah, that's great. People walked away with the curtains.
Club.
Turns out that's one of the highlights. Hey, they should add a ceremony, you know, pulling the curtains there. All right, Steve Young will join us, coming up the Hall of Famer and more on Charles Barclay and company going to ESPN.
