Today - The City of Willcox has announced that it has received a $10.7mm grant from the Department of Energy's Transmission Siting and Economic Development program. This grant will fund the transformation of Cochise Lake into a wetland sanctuary, creating a riparian area that will serve as a haven for birds and other wildlife.
