Glenn Spencer Jr. was born June 6, 1937, in Los Angeles. He was the seventh child of Glenn and Wanda Spencer, and a graduate of California State University at Northridge, where studied engineering. Glenn was a bit of a Renaissance man. He was a housing developer in the San Fernando Valley in California for several years. He later served as vice president for a Native American-owned seismic exploration company. He was an avid pilot, and spent some time as a radio host, as well.
