• An apartment building in Gaza collapsed overnight, killing at least 20 people, including six children.
• Fiji has declared its HIV epidemic a national emergency. In a statement this week, the country’s government said it now estimates one in 60 adults has the disease, including as many as one in 50 pregnant women.
