The first fleet arrived at Botany Bay between the 18th and 20th of January 1788. On the 26th of January, we became 'Australian citizens', no longer British subjects. That is why we celebrate Australia Day on the 26th of January. No other country in the world has three flags; we need to get rid of them. We are a democracy; let the people decide.
