Samela Harris Unloads on the Premier Over Adelaide's Trees and Reveals Her Shine Secret | Court of Public Opinion
Former Advertiser arts and entertainment writer Samela Harris joins Jeremy Cordeaux to explain why she has lost patience with Premier Peter Malinauskas over the felling of old trees for motor racing and the handling of Adelaide's park lands, which she says is happening behind closed doors. She also questions the paid Michelin guide arrangement and what she calls a lot of undisclosed sums.
Samela tells the story of the page three colour piece that led Scott Hicks to David Helfgott and the film Shine, shares news of her work with Women in Media and her recovery from retina surgery, and swaps memories of the Grand Prix and classic cars with Jeremy.
This interview aired live on The Court of Public Opinion on Friday 16 October 2026.
