New Zealand champion Aiden Takarua's one of four men to remain unbeaten ahead of day three of the World Bowls Champion of Champions Singles event in North Harbour.

The 25-year-old Southlander's racked up four wins from four at the Browns Bay Club - competing against 29 other national singles champions.

Five women are yet to drop a game, including American Anne Nunes - who's attempting to become the first to successfully defend the Champion of Champions title.

New Zealand representative Leeane Poulson bagged her first win in the final round of yesterday's second day of competition.
