The NSW Police Assistant Commissioner, Gavin Wood joined the team ahead of Sunday's inaugural Emergency Services NRL event.
"Significant acknowledgement to the Roosters, Nick Politis' idea during COVID, they've revisited it this year and made the police the lead agency this year" said Wood.
