Series decider in Sydney in the CoA Stadium. Well I'm Billy Slater. Well then I'm Camera Munster by Queensland.

They'd never been with Mike Levy, Darryl Browman, Paul Gallon and they'll Lamo Fergus, said Levy.

Loving the show as always, But Mate, it's just not the same without your face on the screen. The camera is stuck on the peak at James, and I'm sitting here wondering where my main man leeve.

He's gotten sorted out? Will you from James?

You don't want to see him, James, Remember when it used to be just directed straight down in your cross? What we're still doing about the camera?

I want the camera porting at my crotch, really so.

Much to it.

You might want to fix the camera ups please.

I must have good zoo, live sport and laughter right across your weekend.

John't anything to add.

Do you think it's been a good game of football?

I think the Titans are playing gys On Noble Zoom Yeah, no twenty two to eight.

The ball will be way by it it's given yes or new yes, cup Scott it you know what? It depends where you've pulled over.

Exactly if you're pulled over, So that all about safety.

The bush somewhere and it's soaked to do it. But if you're on a main road anywhere in Sydney road, drive around the corner and it's got to drive on the rim for a walk. Did you.

To drive on the rib?

You haven't been near a rib for years?

The Continuous Cool Team thanks to Macas, Harvey, Norman Low's, Brighton's Lawyers, BP two, Wee's Bizz Cover, Cash Converters, Wounded Heroes and Ducks hot water.

Seles, they've won five of their last seven games against Titans till peaks. It's already a place of that I was given as well. Did you did you know Carprerera scored for what do you know? Yell Andrew puts a lot of thought into this.

There's Hassler coaches against his former class.

That's one of these bassinesses. That's a mainly legend.

Boys.

If you're looking for an a time charge score.

Hey, well will Pnescsini live playing against the pants.

Day's marching for the game.

Nick, preparations, everything they're playing in the Bulldogs.

Oh what did I just say? You know what, that's why you're part of our team mate.

Tonight again, I'll tell you what.

It's a real long wagad, isn't it.

And now onto gb Sydney for BC Brisbane and network stations across our stradia. It's time for the Continuous Cold Team.

Yes, good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome along to the Continuous Cold Team as we do it from the Hobby Norman Interactive Studio, Marc Levy alongside Darryl Brian and Paul Gallon and a lot of Ferguson on what's big day of rugby league. Three games to come tonight, including the two that will call for you, one at five point thirty one at seven thirty. But look, it's all about state of origin. Congratulations to Queensland. What a victory on Wednesday night. They held on off the back of well a lopsided penalty count which I'm sure we'll touch on throughout the afternoon and probably off the top of the program. But Queensland. As I said in the call the other night, when their backs are against the wall, that's inevitably when they produced their best and they held on for that two point win over in Perth twenty six, twenty four. And it sets up at a side or on Wednesday, the ninth of July to Course Stadium in Sydney. Tickets already on sale and for our listeners on two GB and the New South Wales supporters, buy your tickets, especially all you Blatchy's blues and fill that northern end of the stadium to cheer on the Blues, Lorry Daly and the playing group as they attempt to bounce back and clinch that series. But Billy Slater I think is vindicated in the decision he made to drop Daily Cherry Evans. They played well and there was some big moments in the game which we'll touch on no doubt with that with Darrel, with with Galen Fergo as well. In the NRL last night, the Raiders beat the West Tigers by sixteen points to twelve and congratulations to Ricky Stewart's young Blake Jed who scored a try on debut in the seventeenth minute. Well done to him and the Green Machine continue on there, winning way sixteen points to twelve. I mentioned the games this afternoon. There's one at three o'clock the Warriors and the Panthers five point thirty. I'll call the game between the Dolphins and the Knights, and then at seven thirty five to night Matt Thompson will be along with the Rabbit O's and the Melbourne Storm.

You can join in if you like one three, one eight seven three.

You can email us via the websites where you click onto the feedback icon and you can text us as well zero for six to zero eight seven three eight seven three. And there was a big statement made on the show last week, Ladies and gentlemen, what comes to my position as the host? Paul Gallon, the former New South Wales captain, said, Levy, how hard can it be? Well, he might find out today when we unleash the g train on the masses and we put him in front of the panel to push buttons and control everything that goes to wear.

So Gal today is the big.

Day and one man who was alongside him to support him is Daryl who was asking plenty of questions on Wednesday night.

Well, thousands, thousands of questions.

And he's very very upset that I've well alerted the masses to at Daryl's or say good afternoon to year Olive.

It's just a great, great day to be here today. It's great to be a Queenslander. Just lovely to be here next to my friend Paul, former coach of captain of New South Wales and one one out of ninth series. But it's great to be here. You two allowed, that's great to see you a little bit. I'm on lift it up games. Did you even win a game? Yeah, the one I broke my drawing. We were ten minutes of a big impact in that game. I'll probably fifty gal, what were you? What was your percentage that? But anyway, we've got a big, big day to day. I love the three games we've got today. The Panthers without all their origin players, and I suspect the Warriors won't be playing theirs and the one will.

Hang on Darren, and don't start with the NRL plays.

Man, you should be gloating because you declared last week you said, boys Virgo, you said, you said, Dame Wary Queenslanders will be good. This is what we love taking the underdog down.

And they were good and they were twenty six six I think it was at halftime and they looked fantastic and then second half they just hang on and hang on the you know, in the end the clock probably beating New South Wales. I think they would have beaten them it had been another ten minutes. But you know, the Queenslanders were brave. Mate. I thought Luke cape Well, I gave him there the match. I thought he was phenomenal for them. Look cap k brother, isn't it Yeah, of course that is really but yeah, but k yeah, Kurt cape Well, I thought he was phenomenal for them. I mean, we all know Monster was good. They had a lot of players. Tommy didn outstanding at half back. They had a lot of good players to say the New South Wales. But you know, somehow in Queensland won the game and I must have been I thought they were going to struggle to beat a quality New South Wales side, and I think the same in in game three. But the thing is we've we've still got two weeks to go before they probably pick a side, and there's going to be injuries and you just don't know who's going to play and he's not going to play, so you know it's it's at least it's a decided and I think that's good for the game, jes.

It helps the Queensland. There's an eight neal penalty count in their favorite. Doesn't it down fair?

Well?

You know I can't remember too many. Well, if the elbows on the head, that's one. I think that's a penalty. Do you agree if he meant it doesn't matter if he's I think it does. You think if he's got the ball at one hand and he goes bang like that, you look back and look at someone if you're struggling to fight to play for you argue that wasn't a penalty. No, no, no, I didn't say it was.

I said I can't actually remember if he looked at him the album elbowt him, If he did, like there was one last night's game, I mean that that was an accent.

We saw exactly what I'm talking about.

One of the camera pois, I think was fighting and to play the ball, and the elbowed the tiger and the head split him open, splitting blood was coming out everywhere. But it wasn't a penalty because you didn't mean to elbow, Hi, man, I just you know, at the end of the day, I was penalizing that game.

Let's be honest, it's not the eight penalties that went against them, it's the zero that went the other way.

Because there's no way, there's no.

Top of that.

I'm sick of the sixty games, six sixty guys for what. We don't even know what, So that sixteen indiscretions as compared to about.

Four for the Queen's learned sixty guys.

Or they had too you know, I said, I'm sick of the sixty games. I hate it because no one knows what they're for. I'll be honest about the game. I didn't think it was the best game. I thought New South I was was exciting. The end of it was exciting. New South Wales were horrendous in the first half, and then Queens that were horrendous in the second. I'm very, very lucky to hang on how we kicked a couple of goals, we win the game.

It's all over. We're not even talking about this. You introduced Afternoon After.

I like, mate, but it has I said, the game itself for an origin game, and the conditions were different, different field, different state. But the quality of the game itself for me wasn't that great. If I was either coach, I wouldn't be happy. I mean, Laurie Dave be filthy in the first half of the Blues put up after scoring first art to seven minutes and if you Billy Slater like again in the errors they made in the second half at critical times, crucial mambs of the match, gifting New southlast field position. Thankfully they scored points, but they just couldn't convert.

Four into six. That was that was issue.

Five tries to forward in an orangin match and you lose, like I don't know how many times it's happened in history.

Imagine for New South Wales playing the worst game they possibly couldn't, still nearly winning.

There more tries they could play worse than Again, you're going to play worse than the first they keep trying.

What if Nathan Cleary was on no legs instead of one?

I don't know.

Was he was on one leg? He was on one leg.

That's pretty evidence. Did you notice it during the game when he ran out? Twenty ran out? When he ran on the field, say that, I said to us, Yes, we were talking about it.

I was Joey Divo, he had the microphone.

He called it early furg.

There was no doubt the conditions played a part in the driving run and it was a real shame because you know, the people of Perth I think, were turning out in numbers to support it. There were crowd of fifty thousand, they're expecting sixty. The rain probably turned a feel away. Look a lot's been said about the referees and I want to go on record as saying, look, at the end of the day, New South Wales scored one more try than Queensland. But at the same time, what happened to the mentality of officials in state of Origin where they put the whistle away and just let the two teams battle it out? So that disappointed me. The other thing that I said the day after the game is and I've constantly been at the nrrel as to why they don't give the likes of Adam g and Grant Atkins crack at Origin football. And the common response I get from them is Owill, we've got to go with experienced officials like Ashley climb Well. The counter argument for that to Andrew Abdota Graham and as lead to those running the referees is how do the other blokes get experience if you don't appoint them in the first place. But look, Fergo, what it does do is sets up a brilliant Game three decider and it's in Sydney. So New South Wales deserved a hit in his favorites.

Yeah, well they got what they wanted, didn't they the NRL and it wouldn't really matter who was refering the last game.

So I think the worst part about it is that it was so obvious.

I think that's pretty shocking, and there's not a single person in and around rugby league not at least talking about it to a degree. Look back on your comment on Perth, the crowd was awesome and the weather was absolutely horrendous like it it was so persistent it was just miserable.

But the crowd was unreal. They were so loud, regardless of.

New South Wales or Queensland being ahead, so I thought they provided a really great atmosphere.

But yeah, it's disappointing because you can't play.

You can't win a game of foot if if you're not having any field position or territory at all, and you speak about the conditions that makes it even harder.

So anyway, it was very hard for New South Wales.

And we saw what happened when the penalties weren't necessarily against them in the second half, how they were executing their kicks a little bit better, winning territory and everything's ought to happen from there. But look, at the end of the day, we've got a decider, we've got a jog on and hopefully it's a little bit more even in game three so that the best team actually gets a chance to be able to dominate and win.

And Darryl, I must admit I agreed with your player of the match on Wednesday in Cape Well. I thought Cameron Munster was also outstanding. And the point to make on Cameron Munster gowl as much as it probably pains you to admit it as given he's a Queenslander, but he has really grown as a man. I mean, he's a father now and we know that what's happened off the field back a few years ago, but everybody you speak to and having met Cameron recently, he's really grown as a man and he's become a leader within that Queensland team and a great captain on Wednesday night.

Absolutely, and he doesn't pay me to say that.

All I'm pretty open and honest, doesn't other VI from Queensland in my opinion of someone.

And Kemra Muntz is a really good guy.

And look, at the end of the day, mate, everyone's got a history, everyone's got a pass. We're all young and stupid at some stage in our life. So to be sitting back in imagine someone for what he did in the past forever and a day, he's just not unfair to him or anyone to be honest.

So yeah, he's a good guy, great leader.

Look, the decision to make him captain did surprise me a little bit considering that his club teammate and captain is Harry Grant.

But you know they needed someone to stand up. That's what they need. They need a real leader to stand up.

And Kevin Muntz was the black who could provide things other people can't provide. And he's done a fantastic job. And for more reports around training he was unbelievable at training also, so well done him.

He's proved he can be a captain and he might get a shot a club then one day.

Also, how do you think Darryl back in your day, if you were running at someone like Spencer LENI who I watched that the first tackle he put on Lindsay Collins the other night from the restart, Oh.

Yeah it was. He's a good player and he's got that fire and his belly has in his eyes. You just look at me, looks mad. But the hit on Collins was a beauty. But Colins, to his credit, got straight back up played the ball. You know after that. I think you know it was just a tough contest and he's right in the middle of at all. But so the other boys. I mean, I'm not I think girl said last times they're scared of him. I don't think anything was scared of him. I don't think anyone's scared of anybody. I think I think you're worried about them, But I don't think you're scared of them, not in that, not in that being, not in that standard of foot. Wasn't they kid to him? Well, they said they said rob in the start they were going to kick to the ride. That's what they said the game too. Yeah, Game one they didn't, and game one they kicked to that side. I didn't I don't think that side of the field. I said, right from the study, I don't why should they kick to him?

You're going to back Queensland.

I'm going to back the Blues. There's no doubt. Every man and his dog. When they didn't kick that way and he was waiting, there was like, well, what's going on here? Why why would they kick somewhere where they don't kick normally? They did. They did kick that way. They gave the opposite way. They did kick the opposite way.

They kicked the way.

Everybody knows, our listeners know, every single person the other wise saying they were scared.

Of him, I'm saying at that moment they went the other way. Whether they were scared or not, they went They kicked away from him on purpose, on purpose.

Okay, well if they did that on purpose, what's the problem. I think, what does that prove?

Wanted? You're an idiot, Queen, were scared of Spencer lending you.

There's not a single person who watched that game, one who saw what happened.

They changed their Yes, Spencer lend yous over there.

We don't. Jerry Evans said, oh watch out. Do whatever you do, don't kick it to Spencer lend you. I mean, what do you think those exact word you say that about state of Origin? Plays this again? Big man. We all saw it, every single person. Hundred millions of people saw it. Millions of people saw all those millions of people who saw that looked at it and said, oh, queens, they had a scared of Spencer lend you. The majority of people said that.

And where were they from? The major yourself last, thank you. There's a few queens. Hey, one of your queens and in great said it.

What do you say? And who was it? Corey Parker? What did he say? He said something of a similar nature. They went away from Spencer again. It's got to listen.

We're going back to game one. Game one was two games. Yet I think we argued this two games.

I know certain at the end of the day we all saw it.

We all saw it, and the Queensland had their moment again, they would have kicked him. I guarantee you.

All right, Well, let's get our listeners involved. If you want to have you say off the back of origin. It's been all the talk since Wednesday night. The number to call one three one eight seven three. You can email us VI at the websites. You can text us as well zero full six zero eight seven three eight seven three and just for the record, I'm scared of Spencer LINEO.

We're going to take our first break.

We'll come back and check in with another Queenslander and Ben Keen to review what happened on Wednesday night. Thought so a lot of feedback coming through on Origin. I mean it's been the big talking point all week off the back of Wednesday Night. Getay boys and alanas. I'm waiting for Capell to play the ball properly. Also him and granted masters of the whole downs, Brad says, Darry your boor us. Everyone in the world knows kick to the opposite field.

Love your big man.

But the kid of Spencer from Brad guys, how about the great picture of Spencer Leni, you're going up to Hazramm and shaking hands. Great sportsmanship given the history between them. Thank you very much for that. And you New South Wales losers always have an excuse and blame someone else for your inadequacies. You've forgotten how many penalties Queensland copped at the start of Game one, losers. So that's what we love about Origin. Plenty of opinions, plenty of fire and brimstone, and it'll be much the same in the decider. This is what happened on Wednesday.

Nights, State of Origin twenty twenty five, Game two from OPTAs Stadium.

There's a whissel underway Robson.

He goes away to clearing looking for runners, gets the pass on the blue eye.

Who aren't going to put a little kick from there?

Traded? I waited.

In the premise.

Guys, are they're going to go in out in the Queensland? Tell you it's six for you, said Wiles, leading Queensland a way to deed a crossfield keyth put him.

Be into the air emisode. Can you be that one to try me?

That is unbelievable. He left the bothom a like a waist, comes dangle quick a freeman dunker.

Then he plans the moments, got the try, carrying the playable, bidding meets away from the goal line.

They keep coming to the right round.

He gave the parts off, I got try.

Cameron Mandstaff committe captain gets there. He's got through Queensland and many extended lead them.

Around Lindsey Collins to bring the ball back.

Oh He runs straight into states and money.

He said, Gwen, than think you man cattle trainy motes.

He deserves to have time.

Hearing off the stadium in earth. Queensland is leading New South Wales by twenty six points to six. Willoughby played on New South Welsh Robson. He goes along to Nathan clearing out a little line.

He looks a so I began to white car.

He's gone in the corner and little Bridey in the game.

Leary the leway on the den neighbors.

He's got some food outside him, gets it the latest gave in right now Stephen Schools.

Twenty six fourteen Queensland leading yesath Files.

He hung the blues.

Leary goes on the lou Ise Copans a life from a trail.

Unner Krent Scotts to haunt it again.

It's twenty six points to eighteen, queens Land leading his Sad Files fifteen to plight back a lot ladies, a gentleman watching.

He sends it away to clearings.

He goes backing down the clue eyes.

Louie Pstle get through hot try Htian's Crackney got there.

It is not either, says he finished the lighting. Can the Blues get line and win the series? All over the Queenslanders hold on. You'll hear the sirens.

Head in the background where it.

Is the Queenslanders with all of the university you never doubt the women factor against the wall and won the game twenty six twenty four to set up a series decider in.

Sydney, the full stadium. Queens They've never clean twenty six twenty four de clean the New South Wales.

Yeah, well done to Queensland.

Well done too, Billy Slater, to Cameron Munster, to the entire playing group, and it sets up this mouth ordering decider in a few weeks time. I thought we check in with a former Queensland player these days, the boss of the Queensland Rugby League, Ben Ike, and he joined us on the line right now, could I Ben?

Good? Afternoon? Same Jesus. It was good to see coins then finally get the rub of the growment.

Well, I mean, at the end of the day, New South Wales scores one more try than you, Blake, So we can't blame a refereeing I suppose we can't. Look the conditions are ordinary, Ben, But you know I said it in the call there that you know you can never underestimate you Queenslanders when your backs are against the wall. And you proved it again on Wednesday by playing good footing. You've scored some great tries. The Hammers try when he leapt into the year was phenomenal. They deserved it, so they got to back it up though in game three they do.

Look, there was a lot of big moments of brilliant plays, but ultimately anyone who's been in that Origin arena knows it's not a test of talent or trick shots. It's the test of character Origin. It's just who can go the hardest for longest, and the truth be told, I don't think Origin one felt like a proper State of Origin game, and Coinsland needed to lift its intensity. They did that really well. In the first half. Their lines spreed was exceptional. They chased everything new. So well's come back hard because they're a good team and they're playing a great brand of Origin footy at the moment, and when both teams the best, there's not much between them. I'm thinking now, if you cast your mind back to last year, Game one, we dominate, Game two, Blues dominate. Game three was just one of the great origins of all time. I'm expecting something similar for Game three this year.

Ben, I'm meansed to know how the coach pulled up. I mean, I know we're concerned about the players are going to play this weekend, but Billy had a fair big gun on the last twenty four hours leading into the game as he pulled up.

Aka.

I haven't spoken to except that via texts. Gal I saw him briefly in the tunnel after the game. I think he was just excited to get back in the boys. He took them into a private room, had a chat to them before he brought them back in with the family. But right now, I think there'd be a whole lot of relief that last twenty four forty eight hours he would have had a whole lot of distraction, a whole lot of head noise. I think he's the first to admit, you know, that last press conference didn't go the way he wanted it too. He got a couple of things wrong. He stepped forward the next day and tried to make amends, apologized, and ended up winning the game. But look, that'll sit somewhere in the back of his mind. The thing I know is that having watched him go through what he went through off the back of making some really brave calls at the start of the week, is that clearly Billy Slader's got championship qualities. He was in a hole and he fought his way out and now he's kind of led this team to fight back in the series and give them a chance to wrap it up in Sydney. But he'd be very relieved, man, right now, I would think.

Yeah. I actually saw him at the airport on Thursday, Benny, and I think he made the right Look, he made the wrong He said the wrong thing. I think we all agree with that, and whether he agrees with that or not, I don't know. But he apologized and I think he handled that really well, the apology. It was a tough situation for him. I think it's fair to say he probably got a little bit rattled last year after the first game when they started the glass class houses, class houses comment and thing like that, and I think it did rattle him a little bit. And then I think the Aaron Woods criticism of him probably had a chance of rattling him. And I don't know whether it did or didn't, but based on their performance and based on his attitude on Thursday, where he was pretty quiet, pretty tame, I think he's ended up handling it pretty well.

I think he was rattled. I mean, to me, he was close to tears and that last press conference or the second to last press conference turns out, which means it got to him emotionally. But you know, I think I've said a couple of times, you know, since he's had to make some brave calls and handle some tough situations. But any fool convert their best when conditions are ideal. Right, it's what he got under the bonnet when the blowtorch gets applied, and sometimes it's through your own doing, and that was certainly the case for Bill. I mean, he dropped the captain midway through the series is not necessarily something that happens on this side of the border. But he knew what he wanted, and everybody would have understood if he's stuck with Daly Cherry Evans. But he went with his gut. He picked Tommy did and he ended up being one of the best. He made some other changes to the side. There's a whole lot of noise off the back of those calls. He then makes the stuff up at the back end of the week. I think that puts him on the back foot again, but you know, in a short period of time he addressed his error. And I mean, let's be honest, he's now into season four as a head coach and he's only coached at the Origin level, a big gap between playing and coaching, and I've got no doubt that Billy would admit that he's still learning and you generally learn when times get tough, and he will come out of this whole series a better coach. I'm sure of it.

Benny.

You reference those brave calls a couple of times. Obviously the big one was Tommy Diedden coming in to play in Cherry Evans, Jersey, but then also Camon Munster taking over the captaincy in terms of footy itself and on the field, how do you feel like that combination went for Queensland because they're obviously going to have to stick with it for a little while now.

Anyway, Yeah, I.

Agree with Lata. I'm a big fan of Tommy Diden. Look, I think I set off the back of the first game. I'm whe that I thought Daily played a little sideways. He had a bit of success early in that first Origin with a couple of trick shots, and we kept sort of playing that style of football. It's not how you win Origin. And if there's one thing Tom Bearden is he's very direct. Beyond that, he's one of the most wholehearted players I've ever seen at any level. And so making that tough call, you know, that straightens everything up for us. It makes it a lot more simple. Tommy he hasn't got the craft in his game that Cherry has, so he's not going to attempt it. He's only got a couple of options and he plays them really well. And so with Tommy playing straight at what it did was create a bit more space to Cameron Munster. So God knows what Cam's going to do when he gets the ball. I don't think he even knows half the time. And that's the genius of it, right, So when Origin's in a grind and you need something different, well, I think that's the that's the main adjective to described Cam Munster's footy. And he stood up as the captain. I think he was enormously proud that Billy put his faith in him, and he took it seriously and he just wanted to lead from the front, which is exactly what he ended up doing.

All right, Ben, well mate, bring on the decider. We've only got to wait a couple of weeks and we're back into it. You'll have the animosity of the Blatchi's Blues at the northern end, but what's the Appetitean gives us something to talk about for the next couple of weeks. You're a good man, Ben, Congratulations to Queensland and bring on game three.

Thanks Jan Gatamarans, good on your buddy there.

Joey Johns was talking about a blues dynasty, Aaron Woods bulldog, Ritchie.

The list goes on.

They never learn Greeks's boys. There's nothing more boring than New South Wales supporters winging after they lose please. The lopsided penalty count occurred because New South Wales were all disciplined and Queensland took advantage of their poop decision hacking from Greg at Gloucester in New South Wales. And there's a lot more coming through everyone weighing in about origin. And that's the beauty about this time of the year. And I'm not talking about the conflict in the Middle East. I'm not talking about the war between Russia and Ukraine. I'm talking about let's just say a stouts between rival radio network show.

I wouldn't say it was a stout. But Ben Dobbin, who works for Triple M, he's harmless. He's harmless. But I was seated in I think seat thirty sea or something like that, and he was in thirty one Sea behind me. He made it pretty clear he expected I wouldn't recline my chair back on him on the way home a four hour flight.

I didn't, did you soft?

You're scared of dobb because you're like Spencer lend you. You're like Spencer lend you.

You see the ratings, ratings the radio ratings. Why would I scared of him? Well made you didn't put your seat back. I didn't put back because he asked me not to, So I didn't. You know what, I very rarely do put my seat back, very rarely. I'm with it. I don't know very round back.

But if I wanted to, every right, cautionary before you even considered it.

That's what he said.

Just runners through how they How did it happen?

We must have. I was talking to him before we when we're at the airport, I think, and we're just talking and then he said, what sees you? And I said, I'm thirty seas so I'm in thirty one. So he said, please don't put your seat back behind me. I'm a big bloke and I get uncomfortable with it. Yeah, okay, whatever, I'm.

A bigger bloke and I'll put my seat back if I want to.

I don't. I don't. I very rarely put my seatback.

Surely that means I want to do it, though. That's where our personalities are different.

I'm going back as soon as those seatbelt lights are off.

I'm going to stand up for you here, Darrell. I think it's a four hour five hour flight between Sydney and Perth. Perth to Sydney, I think you're more than entitled to recline.

I don't decline very real I'm a bee and I've said this before on the Scat Show when we talk about reclining chairs on aeroplanes. I don't do it because I don't appreciate people doing it in front of me, and I actually don't think they should have recliners on them. I don't think it should be an option, even for a four or five hour flight. If you've paid for the chair, it's your chair.

You have every rod to do whatever you want, and all you got the person behind you got to do is reclimb their chair and the space is the same, is it?

Yes? It is? Is that a mathematical fact, Well, reclimb the same. I would imagine if every single angle is the same and the same.

I've actually done the exercises mathematic timing to say this to you, Darryl hashtag exit row.

You know I like them.

I'm not normal in an exit row on the way they don't recline the extra legroom. Look at the size of the short stumps. They don't recline on Look at your legs there.

I don't like exit ros either. I can't have anything in front of you. You have to put it up the top And where am I going to put mysel.

In front of you?

Bring down?

The tray comes down? Ye, down, I've got to wait.

So like when you if you're in an exit row for takeoff and landing, you can't have a handbag or whatever you've got backpack in front of you.

You have to put it in the stove thing whatever it.

I don't think.

I didn't think that was anse days. Quantity These days let you have a bag under your chair. I know some airlines day though, but what I was definitely doing webing on feb There's another.

Issue too, Levy, what's happened with Virgin? You know, we used to love Vergin with Roger all that stuff, and I still don't really. I don't really fly that much to have, you know, a solid opinion on what goes on. But there was an issue on this Virgin flight.

What's happened?

Well, it's four or on the way over, it's a five hour flight. On the way back, it's about a four and a half hour or something like that. On the way over. I was starving. We flew. I don't know what told me say it was eleven thirty. Well, big dogs, you gotta eat. As you know Levy anyway, because I was in Row thirty and there's only thirty one rows. When they started pushing the trolley, they went from the back to the front, so they went first trolley went to row probably four or five, because I imagine first three rows were so.

They feed people from the front, the front, back, gotcha, gotcha.

So by the time the trolley got back to where I am Rod thirty, they had no wraps, no sandwiches, no nothing. So I had to get some chips. Just a little tube of chips isn't great dollars five dollars fifty good value, So I got that so I thought that'll do me. And the next about ten minutes later, after they'd finished with me, they said, oh, by the way, we're doing a second run for food and drink in about forty minutes, so you get another crack out of the lamas something. Oh, thank goodness, I'll be able to get a sandwich or something, And thinking I know, no, no, I won't be able to because they ran out of them. They didn't have any next minute, I heard a little rattle coming from behind me, rattle up the middle and as I looked towards the trolley, there's sandwiches, the sandwiches and wraps.

No, that don passed me. I sort of looked at it. I said to the black day.

They pushed the second coming up the way, right up to row number four or whatever row they went to.

By the time they got down again, that chips left again.

So instead of.

Wins, you get complaining. I thought, I'll just tell thousand million people on the radio about it. So they actually did have sandwiches and wraps the first time. I asked if they had any, but they were on the second assignment.

Did the flight attendant say to you after the first crack, sorry, so we've run out.

Yeah, I said, if you got any reps or sand which he said, no, we don't have any. Sat the next off for the second line.

So do you think, Paul, do you think that they've gone from the top and they rode four down the thirty one first time?

Yes? Do you think they should have gone from road thirty one up the next time? Absolutely? You know what I think they should have On Aeroplanestad after closely monitoring this because I was in the depths of despair, because I was starving to death. I looked at it. I looked up the top of the plane. I think the trolleys. They should have a a rail section up the top of the plane on the roof and push them down that way like a sushi track.

I don't know, really smart.

They should have it like a I don't know, like a railway line on the roof of the plane. There just exactly yes. I can't of asked your question, what happens when in the turbulence? What do you mean? You know they clipped in?

You idiots? Because how do you get it out?

Magic?

What you do is you get ready cash on planes.

You have the sushi train on the roof anyway, and what you do is you scan your credit card and at releases the chips of the sandwich into your hand.

You're an idea?

Is that is beautiful?

Ever happened it will in the future. It made this turbulent things shake and something.

Mate, listen, can't you just come with us on a journey once in a while when you've come up with a good decision.

It's a dumb decision. You got to be a bit really like that, so we can just make things.

Up now, okay, Darryl Fergo gal one three one eight seven three, who's on board with Fergo? Daryl and my idea for a sushi train on the top of the airplane carrying around the chips, the sandwiches, the little chocolate bars, so you don't get caught behind the trolley when you might have to be number ones or number twos on the what.

When this was happening and there was people like as I said, I was right up the last second last row of the plane and the toilets were behind me. When I first got that that little seat, I thought this would be going to be able to duck to the toilet. Well, I would say at one stage there were fifteen people. The worst you know, you hid in the food truck because there's no room to go in between them. I don't know that people line up anyway.

You might have five or six people just standing next to you because they're waiting for the toilet.

I hate those.

Do you know what else it might help putting them up the top is the odd elbow injury?

Yes, and they pump them through.

Fergo, I'm still bruised my right arm's gone.

All right.

One three, one eight seven three. The number who's on board with the ladies and gentlemen.

Mister Quattas and missus Quattas, mister and missus virgin. Who is on board with this, ladies and gentlemen, a sushi train on the roof to carry rather than wheel the little trolleys down the aisle? One three, one eight seven three. The number who's on board who's against it? We'll come back with your calls right after this. The supporter is just pouring through here. Everyone thinks it's a great idea. Let me have a look at high Mark. I think the sushi train idea is brilliant on the roof of the plane on with you guys from Bonnie high Marking Team. Love the exit roy because the extra leg room and no luggage around from Frank Lincoln to Quaker's Hill, though he's got an issue to take up with us.

Hello Lincoln.

And gentlemen and Alana, Hello mate.

You don't think it's a good idea.

I love your ideas, but that is ridiculous.

It's not gonna work.

Turbulains.

What about the big bean poles like MG hit.

The head all the time.

Yeah, and you know what else, I have a section for being forgot about.

We forgot about the amount of jobs will be costing people young ladies, I.

Said, I just said, didn't I?

They still need the hairst.

Plate exactly right, twenty plates and the poor host is what there's out of the job are.

No, no, no, this is where seat link at.

No disrespect mate, but this is where you let yourself down because if you think about the trade tables on the seat that come out of the yes, yeah, the thing, the sushi train idea will just pop out of the roof. So then when people need to get up and out of the toilet or if you you know, that's once the seat belt sign comes on, it just sucks back up into the roof.

You know the other thing they could do what give out nappies? What for they don't get out of your seat to go to the toilet?

Toilet less plates?

The idea I have ideas man been thinking about it for two days now. Having that make planes wider, that's not that's not a bad. If they're currently ten foot wide, make it four and eight foot wide.

Where's it? What about the erodynamics?

Darryl? We know this is a very good point. You make the wings wide like the car. It's like your car.

Think about a car, right, if you're sitting in the car front of the car, or that we can touch each other easily on a bus though, if you sit on the window of a bus and you're on the window of buses, no way we can reach each other. Yeah, we drive in the same lanes, so surely they can. So that means obviously buses a little bit whider, So surely you can make planes.

I haven't listened to the first part of it.

Make you reckon our idea is a sushi trade.

You're an idiot.

Plane, buses and cars are able to drive in the same lanes, right, but we can't touch each other in the bus obviously, obviously.

The bus a little bit widter, is it not a little bit?

Yes, it's come like, just make planes a little bit wider.

Exactly, because busses aren't floating through the air champion, so what they're still.

In the same lane. They're driving the same lane as a car. You know, make the front bit a little bit pointier. So it's better with you.

I've got no issue with making planes wider, and I think I should be able to be made wider. As I said, if a bus and a car can drive in the same lane, but a bus is wider, there's no reason why you can't make a plane a bit wider.

One three, one, eight, seven, three, then number. Thank you, Lincoln.

It's nothing, nothing's too hard to do.

We need to take another break back with more of the calls right after this. Just quickly, Darryl, you've you've got another idea? What's your what's your other idea?

I can't remember. Make the planes point you and you said that one getting the planes wider. I don't know if I've got any more idea talking about it. I can't remember. I've got that many ideas going through my head with.

Regards to it was about getting off the plane were you know on planes?

And I don't know if this happens everywhere, but in Australia, if you get on a plane and you're in row one, you get off first, right. If you're in a row thirty one and you only can come from the it's only one way off through the front, you're the last off every time. I mean, I think that's I don't mind that way, but sometimes you get people who just tried bullock their way through the middle of it.

It's why you're an ideas man, Daryl. We are the Continuous Call Team. Well reminder three games for you this afternoon. The first kicking off in about an hour from now from New Zealand. Up the was New Zealand taking on the Panthers. Will update the schools on that. More on that after the news. Welcome back next to our the Continuous Call Team as we do it from the Harvey Norman Interactive Studio. We've got the Warriors and Panthers getting underway in the next fifteen minutes. Tonight at five point thirty EIGHTHBF Park in Perth the Dolphins and the Knights.

I'll call that one.

And then at seventh thirty five to night at a cour Stadium, South Sydney and the Melbourne Storm. Matt Thompson will broadcast that one for you. Last night, the Raiders beat the West Tigers by sixteen points to twelve. The Green Machine and their debutante Jed Stewart scored a try and he's old man and coach rigg Ee Stewart had this to say last night as well, and this.

Week's been the hardest I've had it's of coach, because from a father's point of view, you just you know, I don't want him to come out and be man the match. I just want him to hold his own and that's all I wanted him.

And he did that.

A man of times we've been waking up at three o'clock in the morning with some real bad thoughts. I couldn't get any of those tonights.

So it was good, A really special night for the Stuart family. Yeah, you've known Ricky a long time, Gabba you think, Yeah, that was a.

Great, great moment for him as a father. To be honest, I actually spoke to him during the day. Was he was very nervous about it. And I know one thing about Ricky Stewart, like he would not be accuses of nepotism at all.

So I reckoned that.

Jeff was probably ready a long long time ago. He scored that great tribe. But in the second half or when the Tigers were coming home, do you remember that ever he made when he went to play the ball. You know when a kid gets in trouble and the first.

Thing they do is look to look for their day like they look for their But did you see him look straight to the silent of his dad. He's going to play. He looked up, looks straight up the song of his dad. He was pooping himself. The poor kid.

I felt so when they showed the replay, he stairs straight at the sideline straight away. Ricky would have been standing. He's like, Oh, no, Dad, see me, Dad, see me?

Good? What a great moment for him.

Awesome. His other brother was there, the whole bust lot of of family and friends, saying.

I heard Freddie saying the call that all the family and friends were right behind him. So how tall he is?

He's six foot four, like I know, like Ricky's wife's reasonably tall for a lady. But got six four like I saw a picture of him with the whole family, is just towering above Everybody's huge.

Reasonably tall for a lady.

Yeah, like she like she'd be I reckon, she'd be tall, and Ricky, what's what's what's that looking for?

Reasonably tall for a lady?

That's an interesting I think it's fair to say women are generally.

On the pedal, you know what, I'm just doing what sunny bills under you and just gode just before we move on to other things, I'm constantly amazed. Who listens to this show. There's a text that's come through on the text line from Jesse get Alana and Jents Jesse from Camber here as the chief engineer for a company in the defense industry. I am laughing my backside off listening to this. If physics allows it, then it is just an engineering problem to solve. So wider planes have you ever seen an Antonov? And sushi trains and planes are absolutely doable. The problem is economics. Bigger planes are heavier, sushi trains add weight, and both add complexity, making it all the more costly. And if you want an economy ticket to cost you as much as a business class ticket, all good or just fly business?

From Jesse?

Yeah, what done? Jesse?

That was my thoughts at the start. So ICET was a stupid idea and you agree with me, so good onness. I don't think she completely disagree. It's doable, it's doable if you want to pay a business class price ticket to fly economy.

Who wants to do that? I've got I've got one question for yes, Yes, do you know what an Antonovi has had? No idea? What is that? It's a former plane.

Do you know what it is?

It's a big plane jump.

Didn't believe me. I didn't believe you know, like most things you say, you say it fast. I didn't believe you.

But you know, I made a comment this morning. I made a comment when I saw Darryl for the first time today and he nearly bit my head off. Actually I said, I said, I'd have Perth in the top two cities that I've been to around.

The world, around the off your head, around the world. I loved Perth.

God read me.

I've had some fantastic fun nights with you. If you like Perth and think per purse pooh.

Well serious, I think Per's great.

What parts do you like?

I think the way the city set up is fantastic. It's quite picturesque. There's no traffic and.

Goes there's you know what it is. That's what reminds me of Adelaide. It's just flat.

I'm going to make a big statement, so as well, the West Cadelaide, the West Demustrata is underrated there.

It is off set.

It good one.

So you're saying you hate Adelaide and Perth. No, look I don't hate him. I didn't. I didn't I like them, No, I did like him. I don't enjoy Adelaide Adelaide in life you have some funny adult I've been in the bucks Putty that was pretty fun.

The city of Churches is hardly a church, but it is.

It's very flat. And I thought the other day in Perth, everywhere I went it was flat in an atmosphere or the ground. It's just like the ground is like this level. What's wrong with that?

Well, normally you have, like in Sydney, you drive up and down hills and things are a little bit different.

What hill the area of Cydney do you particularly like? Well, in Cornal there's hills in.

Hill, but there's like you drive up a hill, you drive down hill hill, you drive up in his box ride at Sylvania.

That is a hill, that's your house, that's a hill, that is a big hill.

One.

I don't mind. It's just something different, like just to be flat boring?

True, So so what don't you like about Perth?

It's boring? Thought, I just genuinely think it's boring. Hills is actually a fair point.

Like if you can't see more than really your eye line, like a little bit of something, there's not.

There's not much. I thought.

The stadium is fantastic. There's a racecourse across the road, so hello, two wins. The roads weren't the roads weren't busy the air I tell you when they fill.

The stadiums when you go to Perth, and it doesn't matter what code you take there because there's nothing.

Else to do.

That is.

That's a line of hates Perth.

I don't love it.

Gallon doesn't like it.

I'm going back next week.

Actually, I mean, what did you think? Darryl? Only the second time I've been, but I've enjoyed both times I've been.

Listen to his statement there he said, let me hear him again, said the top two cities ever been to in the world.

You know, I love in the top two, but I wouldn't put ten in the world around the world, and you would put in the top ten. And I'm not saying I put the top ten, but of you saying, well, just misses the top ten. Boat that's pretty good in the top ten, that wouldn't have it? What's the number one? I love London power rank. I love Sydney. Sydney is the best place I've been hanging on his Brilli stand.

By continuous contemgs Power Rankings.

Well, the great Man's not here, but we're doing Power rankings. Top five cities in the world.

There it is city number one, Sydney number one city is the worst city in the whenever I whenever I go overseas or go and get home, I do. I love getting home. Okay, where's your the London?

London? Love London, London.

Have you been to Rome?

Barcelona? Don't try and influencing Barcelona was? What's good about Barcelona? Just the nightlife and walking down the lot of rumbles was unbelievable. Who walked down number four? Because I thought a number four? I love Manchester, Manchester, Manchester City, but really it's good in the top five.

Number two, I don't know that your life timing Manchester?

Germany, Germany. What's the place went do in Germany? Not where they not where they've had everyone in the gas chambers? Yeah, they're there. I went, I went to the I went to the museums that there. What to call Berlin Berlin? Berlin? Berlin? Yeah, there go Berlin. That'd be my top five. Well, I haven't been to Barcelona, but I've been to the other four I've been to Sydney called Paris Paris throwing what do you want to get that?

Manchester?

Manchester? I'll get rid of Berlin and Paris Parish. Okay, what about have you been to New York?

Yeah?

I forgot better that number three, Actually, that could be number one. I love New York.

Just making you sound more your money.

You're going to raise.

Your New York's number two, number two? I put everyone down one. Do you like l A I didn't knowing you like?

Have you looked at the rights lately? That's a place you want to get.

About, very expensive, unbelievable.

Listen, I stand by per top two.

He's the top two couple. I'm brought it out in the top five. I'm just named about eight which are way in front of Perth.

No.

I like Perth. I think it's a good joint.

Which places in the world later in life.

I could easily live in Perth because it's like it's a nice and a slow place and you know, change from the hustle and bustle of Sydney.

I guarantee if you're in a Perth did last the work? Can I know what you're like when you when you work there? You properly doing good when you when you let loose, you have a good time.

Yeah, but I have no way you're doing that. But I can't have a good time in Perth.

Times you can go to the casino on your own.

I've got one word from Codterslow Beach Hotel. On your own, make some friends. What about King's Park in Perth. It's good subiac It's on a hill, you know. I remember I went up there. While I was there, it overlooks the city. Paul and I were up there. Let's get our listeners involved. I made a big statement. Ladies and gentlemen. Is one with me on Perth being a good joint?

If anyone with you?

If the persons all right? The top two places in the world in Australia, Okay.

I'm going to broaden it out. Tie three the number. What are some of the great cities you've been to? And his Perth up there is one of yours? One three, one eight seven three the number. You could win yourself a continuous call team showbag thanks to Stone Exteriors.

So jump on the line. Have you say we'll come back with your calls? Run after this.

I'm getting a lot of support here, ladies and gentlemen, for my suggestion. The person, well, Per's a wonderful place. Chris Gregson, who's one of our staff and team members and one of our colleagues here at the network.

He's just text me sit up with your leaving Perth.

Great shows.

Thank you.

Gregory's very important person. Ruth says, I lived in w A in the late nineteen eighties. Perth was built to stop the stand blowing all the way to Sydney.

Thank you, Ruth.

Ryan writes, Alana and Gow wake up throwing shade against w A shows your rickrants and clearly you haven't ventured further than the TV studio went in Perth. Good luck finding the clear blue water of Perth in Sydney. You're lost. Not ours from Ryan over in w S.

Here every by power rankings in Sydney one, New York to London three, Barcelona four, Manchester five, Paris six, Hawaii seven. I think a WY deserves to be up a bit higher.

I found the people of London quite rude, actually really, because we met myself and the great Gordon Bray, the voice of rugby back in the day, Gordon camp Easy the night before the London Olympics started. We went and had a few drinks on the Thames and we walked into this pub and you know, Gordy being Gordy's walking around talking to everybody, and I was talking a bit. No, I wanted a bar of talking to anybody. They just sat there by themselves drinking where it was a pub on the Thames somewhere.

I see the Frenchies are rude. I remember walking into a place to get a.

Paris and I said excuse me and helped to get the phone and they said sorry for English.

So the French the rude in the world. Are they all?

No, I wouldn't say so. I look that, I think so.

I really like French France. The city, I thought, that's really nice. B the Cata Combs was a pretty impressive place to walk through and see. The Eiffel Tower was good.

I had an interesting interesting running in Macedonia when I was there last year. A bloke said I was rude, and I said, I turned it up, mate, I'd had a few drinks. He pulled knife hair and then our mutual made OLLI. He had to step in and say it's all good, It's all good.

Wow.

Anyway, by the end of the night.

I was.

Imagine, Yeah, anyway, let's get to some way. No, no, I had all my money and everything else. Bruce is in Brucebane. He's a trackie. Bruce Fellas, Hello mate, what do you go for us?

Buddy?

Number one?

I reckon, I love person is a great city. But I'll give you two others as well, Breem and Darwin. They're great as well.

Actually know what made number two? I've been to Darwin. Darwin is a good place. Darwin is fun.

Is a great place.

I have dar Perth anywhere over Brews.

Yeah, I can't those places. Darwin's a good joint. Darwin is fun. If we're there in summer, yes, So it was all right, I reckon I was.

I played it went there after a Test match in twenty I think twelve or thirteen twelve would have been, so it would have been we played the end of the year test matching probably October, so I were there October November.

Yeah, and it was fun.

Thank you, Bruce Scottie. Since when was Hawaii city? It's not very big three one eight seven three. The number Robin is in Twickley Lo Robin.

Oh, Hi, guys are going good.

Thank you good.

Oh, I just wanted to ask out. I'm after the Ashes at the end of the year, and I want to know what was so great about Manchester because I'll be there for a couple of days.

The nightlife. I just really enjoyed the nightlife. The restaurants are good, and I found the people.

There's a really good my twenty four year old son to.

Some of the nightlife there is all. Robin, you love it, big man.

I met you a couple of weeks ago at Tukeley Golf Club and tell you to wrap Levy on his call.

Yeah, I don't do that. Do you do that privately?

Robin?

With a choice between it was the choice between going to Vegas next year or the Ashes, and who chose you?

Your son?

You know what I think?

Because Vegas has still got a couple of years running, so we thought, well, let's do the Ashes.

Robin. You know what, It's a great choice for a great choice from you. I've been over there a few times, lucky enough to be over there, and an ASHES tour is the best. Seriously, there's so much fun in you and if you're going on we did a tour group, you'll meet a lot of people who you're going to be friends with for a long con.

Your mother of the year Robin for doing that, and thank you for the kind words as well. Enjoy the trip. You'll have to let us know what it's like next year when we're when we're back on air. Thanks Robin. One three one eight seven three the number. Anthony's at seven Hills. Hello Anthony, Ah.

Good afternoon, crew mate.

What do you got for us?

The Vancouver I don't know enough about in Canada. It's a beautiful scenery, nice light life and you're right there, an hour away from any any ski field. Well I place you got the water, good fishing?

Yeah, great grizzly bears there?

Would you have Perth in your top ten?

No?

Fifteenth if that?

Thanks Anthony.

The grizzly bears in Canada? Yell them? Why, I don't know they look like Spencer Lin.

You say there, Anthony will send your showbag thanks to to Stone Exteriors.

Simon's in Brisbane. Allo, Simon, good day. Rhyme for me, right me too.

One.

I've never been, never been the Perth Leaves.

If it's anything like Adelaide, which I heard it is, I think Adelaide's probably one of the best cities in Australia.

Oh, well you're on board.

Then yeah, another one who's on board Adelaide's fun. So with Rome? Didn't you bear Adelaide before? No, it's very flat, but it's actually what's wrong with that?

I don't understand why you keep referencing that the place is just flat. I think you need something to work out, a little bit of like hang on.

Hang on.

So you're judging cities around the world on the makeup of their land. So if they've got flat land, they're boring.

No, no, no, no, no.

As I said, Adelaide is flat, but it's great. No life, it's good fun. Perth was flat and boring.

No, it's not boring.

Three other people I asked the call about Rome and furgo about Rome, Like, what's good about Rome is the nightlife, the food, just the the street atmosphere.

Withing, Like the people are beautiful, everything's quite close.

You can walk around everywhere.

But like you can be in your little hotel room on top of a beautiful restaurant and everyone sort of gets out in the day.

I don't know, it's just it's awesome, Like it's the best place all to see them.

It's it's incredibly that need to add it to the list of places to go take your family too, It's awesome.

What about the Greek Islands? It looks like a nice splice to gain.

I'm surprised no one said Tokyo Tokyo.

I've never been that there? Have you been there? Yeah? I loved it.

But also I feel like a lot of ossies are going to Japan.

I I just can't believe Perth doesn't really to mention it outight, outrage Scotty's in the Central Coast.

Couple more hate Scott Hey, guys.

I reckon.

Probably my best one was Istanbul was one of my favorites.

What about Perth?

I was there about fifteen years ago for work and.

I wouldn't even be able to go out.

Well, Scotty's come a long way made in ten years. Perth Hare's just come along, loops and bounds made. I'm telling you, I've just tried to do something for West Australian tourism anyway.

Perth bears by the way. What about the What about the media over there?

And admittedly Seven West Media runs the one paper Mate it hardly rated a mentioned state of origin and they just took the mickey out of it, and I just I actually found it quite childish this week from the seven West media. And I know they spent a lot of money on the AFL, but you know, we work for Channel No. We don't ignore the AFL. If there's a big game on in the AFL, we'll update the scores, we'll let people know about it. You cater towards your audience. But I just you know, considering there's a Perth Bears team coming in, I think it's it's a real challenge for Peter Velandi's and Andrew Abdo to get them on board, because they need the media on board, doesn't they.

Michael Thomas wrote about it because we were all having breakfast that morning and he got a look at the newspaper straight away and said, I'm writing my article on this. It's absolutely nowhere in their papers.

It's pretty bad, childish, just childish.

MG.

I think said it pretty well because I think you said when he was over there in Instinct in Perth, they played a game I think at the stadium and they had the two head AFL coaches from from over that way or two of them there and they was in the paper that the AFL boys were supporting me. He believes they need to get on side with the AFL, you know, arm in arm sort of stuff, and get them on board to help promote it.

Very smart. Thanks for the call, Scott. In fact, stay there, we'll send you a showbag. Mark's next on the open line.

Mark, Hey Goods and Tokyo.

They're the two best in the world.

Orleans and you know, I want to do New Orleans.

I've also been told from a couple of footy plazaic and that's outstanding.

Is good trip. Hello. In the odd days and a half it was off season, I used to wear stubbies and I used to have They used to wear those half shirts you know when they go down to about just under your boobies drift you wore. Leans. Loved it, but it wasn't hanging out as much as it does these days. But it was good. New Orleans is tremendous. It is great the river, go down the river cruise and you know, you can see I don't know what called jim Balay or something whatever they call it, and know what it is. But it was a long time ago and I thoroughly loved it.

So you wore a mid rift top.

You're in New Orleans just for a Jupan loved it.

Do you have any photo evidence of that? I wouldn't mind that well.

I did ride one of those mechanical bulls too.

With the mid drift perfect.

Well, wasn't quite as fat then. I was like a well put a blood I was on machine.

Thank you for the call.

Mark on that note, quick break back with more Mark Levy, Paul Gallan, Darryl Bryan, and Alana ferguson the continuous call team. Just before we get to our next guest. I've traveled a fair bit, Levy, I must say I do like Perth. By the way, boys, Gratton your photo of the call team on the two GB app. Just on Mark Paul's comments around Adelaide being flat, has he ever heard of the Adelaide Hills?

Okay, Adelaide's flat Say what you wanted? Adelaide Hills a place called adelaid Hills, Adelaide Adelaide's flat city.

You go to Adelaide, you drive up into the Adelaide Hills, which is where you get nice winter.

I don't want to drive up there.

I wanted to stay in This flat is flat that's not flat as the Adelaide elves.

It's flat. The city's flat. On the outskirts, it might be a hill.

Yeah, you know what else is flat? Sunny Bill? Give it you you'll be flat on your back. Sixteen twelve. I'll exclusively be tipping sunny Bill. I do that for all of his fights in your ways wins. Give me some knuckles. I'll stick with you, bro, I'm exclusively tipping something that.

Such a good mate. You're not even going well, Hello, I'm.

Going to get up early in the morning, didim?

Because you know what, do you get a free ticket? If he goes? Get no money out of that, So I just stay home and buy it. Fro the tickets. I see ticket sales and being slow.

Now, well I get a free ticket.

I'm sure sure stand help you out?

Well, So you don't want me in addressing with him again? I thought, I thought I raised.

Not raise last couple, soieve you're going to come in. He said, absolutely not.

Because last time I have to be fair. I knew I was going to win those fights. This one's a bit different.

We'll just give it to the Italian bloke that was trying to pick himself on TV. I said, look at this, imbecile drop off.

Mate.

It's not about year anyway. You know what it is about the Raiders sixteen twelve. They beat the West Tigers last night, five in a row after last night's four point went over the Tigers in front of nine thousand fans of Campbelltown on what was a chilly night. We've spoken earlier about Jed Stewart scoring a try on debut. This blake goes all right too. He's the half back, Jamal Foggery, he's.

On the line right now. Hey Jamal.

Gooday guys, you mate really well Gi you're held on for the win. Sixteen to twelve. Nice debut from Ricky's young like Jed. A great night for the Grammachain I would have thought, yeah.

A great night for young Jenny. Obviously, us as a play group we knew that he will come out and do a job for us. He's worked really hard in the preseason. He's a sponge, he's not stuck in his own ways. He's willing to learn and he's very tough unlike.

His old man.

But yes, that's great.

It was good to hang on and get the win. Obviously we had all the momentum in the first half and we made the most of it. And in the second half they had a lot of that and they're pretty hard to stop.

Made You guys have had a fabulous season, and I would think it's fair to say at the start of the year. I don't know if there's too many of the experts really rating you all that well, but I must admit that the first game you blokes played in Vegas, you were sensational. I think it was against Warriors, wasn't it. You were, just, said Sachian all that day, and you sort of haven't really taken your foot off the pedal since then. Maybe that game against the Dogs when you think you led twenty mil a half time and got beat. Maybe that game. But other than that, you blokes have been tremendously consistent and just playing good footing.

Yeah, I think that was that was the big part of our work on in the three season.

As a team.

You know, the last couple of years we've probably been able to win one or two games and then we kind of fall off a cliff and get a bit of a touch up. Very inconsistent, and that's one thing that we spoke about and just going on a journey of growth because we've got a couple of older fellows, but we've got so much youth coming through as well. So it's just about trying to grow each and every single week as a team. And you know, we're only looking at it one week at a time, we're not looking down the track. And a big part of that's really been stick. You know, in previous years, if we lose a game, he probably holds onto it for two or three weeks, whereas this year he's actually been able to put it in the background and move on pretty quickly to what's next, what's most important for our team moving forward. And I think that's had a major effect on our squad.

Samil, you mentioned a few older players. I think you're thirty one. You're a couple of blocks in the thirties in your forward pack. And I've said this before. This year remind me a lot of our two and sixteen side of the sharkis where you've got this older, experienced forward pack and just these young, xuberant, fast, exciting outside backs.

But I feel you titled.

Together with your experience there at the number seven. Now you're leaving the club ate end of the season, Obviously, Josh Papa Lee hasn't won a premiership. Is it something you guys are discussing that the chance of winning a cop? Obviously every team wants to win the Cop at the start of the year, but you sort of don't really know you can win it till midway through the season.

You guys are right there.

Yeah, I think it's definitely been something we've been speaking about from in the preseason. That's like you said before, that's every team's goal. There's seventeen teams in the preseason that want to do that and for us, it's been a regular conversation and if we do all the little things which in every single week, it gives us confidence, It gives us belief to get closer to the business end of the season and the games that we have been putting together. I think, you know, we definitely there's a belief amongst our team that you know, we can push to try and lift the trophy at the end of the year, and has been discussed. But we need a little bit of luck with injuries and form and all that kind of stuff as well. But we're definitely doing the right things to give ourselves a chance.

Hey, Jama On a personal note, congratulations, are you just welcome little Lenny into your family? But for everyone at home, can you tell them what he was wearing for origin?

Yeah, I think he's gone to the adoption center after that. To be fair, I'm the only Queenslander. The wife and the two daughters are born in Tweed and little Lennie was born in Camber and he come out in a New South Wales little jumbsuit, which I wasn't too impressed with.

But it's just a green son and mate, you know, mcgrand daughter dressed him up in the blues jersey. He's just rubbish.

Three nights of the year we're gonna have to send him to a different home.

On a serious the conversation you had with Ricky when you made your mind up to go, I'm trying to just really relive it or remember exactly what happened. Were you on contract for next year and they let you off to go to Manly?

So what it was the club had a favor in their option, so from all the way through pre season to round six they had the option to keep me for twenty twenty six on the same deal and then if they didn't activate it by round six. That gave me an option to go and speak with other clubs because that means I'm off contract. And the round six deadline came, they said they didn't want to activate it. They wanted to negotiate a lesser price. I'd say, and then interest was shown from mainly And the thing that really persuade me was the length of the deal. Obviously I'm a bit older now and I want to try and squeeze the most out of my playing career, being a late bloomer playing a lot of Queensland Cups. So for me it was just about the years that mainly offered. It was just too good to refuse. And the hard part was probably going in the Sticks office the next morning once I made my decision, because I didn't get much sleep the night before. To be fair, of was having so many conversations in my head. He might take it well, and if he does, I hope how did he take down take them?

Well?

He took it very well. Obviously he was disappointed that I was leaving, but you know, he's a people's person and he just said, as long as you and the family I looked after and happy, and that's all I care about. So once he said that, I kind of took in a couple of deep breasts. I'm like, oh sweet, that's the response I needed, because he can it can be a bit of a fire cracker when he wants to, and we all know that.

But mate, I mean, this is a great opportunity for you to rep play, repay him and the club. This year's are in a fantastic position, you know, and then you you know you've got to be looking at winning a camp here, and you know you've got a really really good side. As you said, I think you said before, you've got a great experience, great combination of experience in youth, and some of your backs are just cracking players for young men.

And some of the way Sebastian Chris Flick passing through last night, Timmy is a weapon like strange.

Guns everywhere.

Jam I'll keep it going, mate, We don't want to take up too much of your time. Just make sure you keep little Lenny in that nice blue jump ship suit, mate, because we'll be winning.

Jump jump suit. You win him in Besiles, you have a good weekend.

Just make sure that you just win in front of your fans. It'd be pretty embarrassing and Queens.

You know what, Jamal, I really like you up until this conversation, so you're legend. I think you can get some Queens lay and jumpers and lows. I'm in the process of trying to get man.

What is he going by?

One of those stupid mid riff things you were wearing over and where were you the Probably if I might, they would You can get a Safari seat in there as well.

That's good stuff.

He's a good man, Jamal Foggerty. Congratulations on the win last night and obviously on the birth a little Lennie as well. We'll take a break, me back with more continuous call team. On the way to the break, they say, speaking of Queensland, they say two heads are better than one. But they help beat brain cancer. The Mark Hughes Foundation needs a lot more. Love the show, Good on you and thank you for supporting the Mark Hughes Foundation as we will be doing again in season.

Twenty twenty five.

Guys.

As a Raiders fan, I'm fuming that they didn't hang on to Jamal. He's been the glue that binds that team and if they don't win this year, they would have been well set to try again next year. Experience counts for everything. From Die and Big Man. Where is Perth that's in Queensland. Where is Adelaide That's in Queensland. Where is Rhyme That's in Queensland, Queensland?

Everywhere?

From Robin that's true, Robert. Everyone wants to be from Queensland.

One three one eight seven three is the number that point.

From the previous message about it from about Jamala. I wonder if they got anyone, you know, that's going to replace him, like any young Well, I'm sure they've got a young guy coming through.

They've got a pretty big.

Proc.

I'll place the nursery nursery down there. I am help you, but I'll tell you well, like he experienced experience in that position.

And they're going to move.

He was kicking for him to Ethan's strange.

So I don't know if he's an organizer, but he's a fantastic runner of the football.

He's a little like his little weapon. He's a great defender, very.

Very hard to tackle, scores tries, but just organizations a different level.

I share need field, the need to share with the continuous school team. Some news that I've stumbled across involving another one of our team, Josh. You know, Josh Morris is not well. I'll say this about James right, He's he's very good, but he's he's not one to say a lot of things on this shart. He limits his involvement limits his words. He's getting a lot better and I think he's nearly reaching his potential. It's been reported to me by a very very very reliable source, and I'm happy to go public with it.

Josh Morris has become a motivational speaker.

Turn it up for what.

You just said.

He doesn't say exactly.

I'm told that yesterday he put together a power point presentation and spoke for forty five minutes to a group of business people, So he.

Would have said three words.

Well, apparently he was very good goo and I want to give him a rap because the feedback I'm getting is that he was brilliant. And I said, well, obviously he pulled out on the day and Brett turned up because if it was Josh, there might have must have been a problem. But does this surprise you to hear that Josh is now motivational speaker?

Yes, it does.

Who created the PowerPoint itself?

Josh? Apparently?

Wow is good? We get a copy of stuff.

I don't know.

But what was the topic. What did you talk about? Like leadership, teamwork, working as a team.

I'm assuming air and leadership.

And do you know what sort of work these people were in that he was teaching.

I don't know, Darryl.

Was it maybe real estate or gambling?

No, I think it was to do with workforce and all that sort of thing. But I've had a few messages for people saying he was very good.

He's on tonight, so let's just ask him.

Might we might have to quiz him, well, get him in just before the end of.

But he's often he's often produced under pressure. So it does doesn't surprise me. Well, it does what he's going in to surprise me, but the fact he could do it, you know what, he has often produced under pressure.

So I'll give him the benefit of doubt and say, no, not really.

Are you a motivational speaker any of that stuff?

I have?

But I don't enjoy She asked recently to do one, But I go and I'm happy to do a question answer there easy you'd sit there and talk for an hour, question and answers. But to go and ask your PowerPoint presentation, there's a bit to a lot of preparation and point.

Ye, I don't enjoy that. I don't like it.

I'm happy to go into question answers at any stage that they're easy. You can see you don't know there's no preparation, but in the industry no idea.

That there might quite easy to get up and talk about the topic.

Dollar signs anyway, do you not.

Shouting back to the game, shouting on the Central Coast? I just fell off my chair. That about Josh a motivational speak.

I think we're all a bit surprised by.

Good on him. He wouldn't have done it for nothing. I'm tipping, but look, I don't even think I could get up there and talk non stuff.

Have you heard how much they get paid them people, the ones, the ones who are good at it. You do it like a banks and plays that. I'm talking twenty to twenty to fifty k type that range.

Yeah, I can speak for forty five minutes.

Match money like some money would be an emotional speaker, Sam Kekevich. Yeah, guys that I imagine.

Yeah, yeah, some of the guys that have been the war, been over there and been the war and done that sort of stuff and leadpos platoons or whatever they called.

I reckon guys like that.

Good keynote speakers get paid speakers.

The good one get paid a lot of you know, one of the best keynote speakers I've seen in a long long time.

Was actually from rugby league. Frank Ponici, from the Melbourne Storm. He was brilliant.

He spoke at the Leaks Clubs Australia conference last year on the Gold Coast and I had to m se it for a couple of days. It was very, very strenuous work. It was just a three day drinker, if I was honest. But he was the keynote speaker on the final day. He got up there and produced the most magnificent Oh. He probably spoke for about an hour and everyone said the same thing. You can see why Melbourne Storm was successful with someone like him.

So went a power position Melbourne Storm.

Well, now he was talking about his experience like as a football manager and working with Craig and working with some of the great players, but everything that goes into it. And he spoke about with all the assistant coaches that have worked under Craig. I had no idea that he used to call them in and they'd have to present to him to virtually hold onto their jobs and it was all about improving each other. And then Frank would have to do the same thing. And I thought, just to hear about the you know, workings of a rugby league club and what goes into it.

Fascinating stuff.

So if if you ever want a keynote speaker, I'd be going down the path of Frank Ponisi.

No, no disrespect the Josh, but Frank's very very, very very good.

Josh.

Well, I was going to say, m my surprise, you will obviously would, but he was very good for all reports. So well, don't James, he's even half Deason surprising, but could you imagine him getting up seriously speaking for forty minutes off off the cart when you think.

About his history in his past, he's produced at a high level for a long time. He played rabid league for a long time, like he got to have on radio.

Yeah, I agree with you there, I agree there, But when that he was.

But when it comes down to it, like someone who's produced at a high level for a long time, I can imagine they would have worked it and done it.

You know who comedian as well. I think those guys it's good if they could throw a bit of comedy in it as well, I think. But Cat does it too, does Cricket. You know, Yes, I've actually been very good. I've been out but you can talk for half an hour or so. Yeah, what's his name? You speak happy? Yeah? Yeah, Greg? Yeah, but he can he can speak, but he could also add in his experiences and some of the stuff he's done and whatever. He's very talented.

Well look, I think when it comes to Josh in the future speaking gigs, I think Josh should be given a rider which is about half a case of beer, and he will be entertaining. He'll be brilliant and he'll be a bit sloppy along the way as well. So well done, James. Great to hear. Great to hear you doing speaking. I have no idea, but he was very good. Well done Josh cash invoice wreck, Josh Morris, the motivational speaker. It will all be above board. Gow he's lead off your girl.

Yeah, there was the tax officer.

Anyway backyard, looking to be pretty flattered.

I think Buddy the dog, Doug, the holes happen.

We're off to a break back with more one three, one eight seven three the number I should give you a judiciary update thanks to our mates of Brighton's lawyers. Three charges out of last night Hudson young dangerous contact. He'll pay a fine. Morgan Smith is a fine for striking and Gerral's skeleton contry conduct for an incident involving Xavier Savage. You'll also pay a fine, so the judiciary update thanks to Brighton's lawyers, get So that's.

That's the head butt, see Hudson, might I feel little bit sorry. I don't think he meant that. I think it was an accident. That was the one I was talking about earlier. He's just fighting to play the boy. He did elbow him, but I think that's but the head butt. For me, that was a head but yeah, I thought a fine fine.

I find that a bit.

I find that a bit weak your headbut somebody get a fine. I think you should be suspended for headbutting somebody. It was a good lash out too. He split himself. Yeah, well we all know the inconsistencies of all of that. Anyway, here's a question referees Origin three.

Just quickly.

I deliberately didn't want to make today all about referees, right, but there's a lot of people asking the question on the text line the email, So just quickly, who referees?

Adam G didn't do himself any favors. I didn't think last night, but he would be the red place.

Well well, Grant Atkins was the standby ref for the first two Origin games, which means he's the next.

Cab off the range.

I'll be shocked, client.

I think if it is actually Klein, that I would think plays into the hands of New South Wales because he goes out there with an unconscious bias given what's happened in Game two and the criticism.

No one's immune to criticism. Absolutely he'd be hearing it.

And you know, we can talk about you know, I'm not questioning the integrity of officials and never would, but of course there's an unconscious bias, which is why I think that needs to play into the NRL's decision making when it comes to who they appoint for Game three.

So you're saying get rid of him.

I don't think he can possibly referee game number three.

I don't think you know what, believe it or not, I don't think Queensland would want him to referee game through that because of that.

Exactly what do you just And this is the reason why I think they need to have a fresh approach, a fresh referee that hasn't been influenced by what's happened in the first two games, So what better opportunity to throw either Adam g or Grant Atkins in there. They're both experienced referees and they deserve their crack by Mark Levy.

That's my opinion. Seven three, Thank you very much.

Latter update, Raiders maintained second spot, but go to twenty six points, Tiger's staying in thirteenth on fourteen points.

That's all thanks to Ducks hot Water.

The Panthers and Warriors making their way out onto the stadium in New Zealand for this game getting underway as we speak, so we'll update the schools on that as we take you around the grounds after the news and just some news through a man believed to be aged in his thirties has been seriously injured in a motorcycle crash on an off road trail at Cesnock. We'll have some more on that throughout the afternoon. The news coming up next and back with plenty more continuous call Tame Yes, welcome back, playing away in New Zealand. Six minutes gone first half Warriors Penrith nil all. The score nil all Penrith and the Warriors in New Zealand, as they put a little kick through Nicol Klukstar back into the field of play, so we'll keep an eye on that for you as the game continues, and then at five point thirty will swing into action for the Dolphins and the Knights. Excuse me, that one being played at HbF Park in Perth. And then later on tonight at seven thirty five the rabbit Os taking on the Storm at a cour stadium. Last night the Raiders beat the West Tigers sixteen to twelve, and on Wednesday night, of course, Queensland held on for that two point win over New South Wales to set up a series decider. You can join us if you like one three one eight seven three. You can email us via the websites. You can text us as well. Zero full six zero seven three eight seven three And news threw from Pete Biddell and Michael Carrianas at the Telegraph. Selwyn Cobbo has held secret talks with the Dragons and as the Cowboys, and a third roll Club plot poaching raids on the out of favor Broncos sensation. So there's a little story doing the rounds this afternoon, and one one one another story you can help us with. Oregon Kafusi is out of the Sharks game, and there's a young blug by the name of Hawea Puru is going to make his debut.

Yes, he's actually a he's a twin. He's a twin. He's a lock. The other twins are half back. Oh really yeah, yeah, I'm sure they're twins. I'm pretty sure they're twins.

But a good, good young player. Yes, bad luck for Oregon. I'm not sure what he's done. He's done pretty well.

Yeah, handstring tightness, Well.

That was how many front rollers do hamstrings these days? Unbelievable.

Back in the day, you'd never hear a front rower doing to have me.

But Puh's a good, good young player, So I hopfu he has a good debut and they get a win up there.

I've been Brisbane, a big, big game from Sharkers in the day.

I think could beat most sides, but it's got to find some consistency in their game.

Peru recalled the coach telling him on Thursday that he was going to make his debut. He said, look, mate, your day's going to get a whole lot better because you're making your club deboo this weekend. I was over the moon he said, the boys trust you, and I trust you, and it's spent a long time coming. Just go out there and do you crazy enough. I actually debut against the Sharks for the Raiders. My first game of NRL was against a lot of these boys. Two years later on playing with them, So there you are. Congratulations to him Peru making his club deboo for the Sharks in their game over the.

Course of the weekend.

Boys, I just want to say thank you to the Bull family because I was talking yesterday about it's the One Iron's birthday today, right, and happy birthday to the one Eye if he's listening, and he'll be here hosting the show to morow and the girls who work with us on the morning show, Chelsea and Georgia, decided to put together a little platter of food during the morning show to celebrate his birthday, and they went very flash. They had the procudo and the soft cheese and all that sort of thing, and I just I randomly said, where's the cube cheese? And they all rolled their eyes and just shook their.

Head, and I said, younger generation.

You can't knock cube cheese on a platter anyway. So I was talking about the fact that a great platter for me would involve cube cheese, French onion dips, some jats crackers, and maybe some of those pickled onions.

Right.

So, this family that I know, the Bull family, Ross is one of the board members down at the Tarot Point Bowling Club. His wife, her specialty is her French onion dip. So I put it in front of you, Daryl, with some jats crackers, and you're tucking into it now. And she's given me the recipe. She said, Mark, even you could do this, I said, yeah, right, sour cream, French onion soup chip, the packet of French onion soup and the sour crew mixing up.

There's just there's your dip. What do you reckon?

Oh no, that's that's beautiful. It's very nice. I have got this, I've got it ready to go.

I've got a ratio.

What I find interesting? Wow? Do you want some?

Do you want some jats with your dip?

I'm more concerned the fact that I like cube cheese.

Mate, I love chick cu with you.

Do you know what's ironic? What missus bull sending in jets crackers? Please see bulls, please you see missus mister bull like that. Remember we did.

It's to show the bulls, the wow bulls.

Going on. But missus bull, thank you very much. That's Darling's made that. You know. The soup, the French onion soup. What is it? French onion dip, Freach onion dip. But that's all you need is a French onion soup and some sour cream. Just mix it together. That that is beautiful. I'm ready to devour some more.

So see this, this takes me back to when the Great Anthony Griffin was working with us. Need come in and you say, good fellows, hell them just done up a plato.

For you and mate.

She used to put all the fancy stuff on there. And ironically, Anthony's daughter Chelsea is one of the producers on the Morning Chat and the platter was very very flash good predo.

And yeah, I don't need that.

It was a simple sort of black down simple stuff. I am.

I'm very simple, So you don't like preshudo. Would never buy it from myself, anti prosudo. It would have to be the most overrated meat on It's a fancy mate, Give me a ham over proscudo any day of the wry.

Look I don't mind ham either day, get me wrong, but you can't say you per He just did like stupid.

That's a stupid thing.

Mate, if you like, if you you're supposed to be a battler from the Western suburbs. Originally, prosudo is better than Ham. I'm going to say it again. You're my friend, are a winker, But you.

Just said you couldn't put any meats on your platter.

You said you want cube cheese, pickled onions, French onion dip with them jacks and some twiggies.

I like twig six pm on fergo. What's wrong with that bog?

But nah to tweet six al right, I can't believe you like ridiculous, but we.

Gotta we gotta proshuot picture at the shop, I think it's right, and one of them.

Talking love cab I'm with.

I'm not prescido. I would never buy PuO never ever. It might look good on a plant, but I don't think.

It taste pizza like a proper Italian one that's young like sort of pizza rocket and protrudo.

Metal. It's tough. I think rocket on a salad is all right, as long as you got some of those nuts with the wallnuts with him right?

Was proud? Was proscudo a big thing back when you were growing up, Daryl?

Or is this just my dad was a brick layer. We were pretty basic. I don't think we would have ever had po cubed cheese and made. I still like cubed cheese in the old days at the at the rs ls in the clubs, they would have a couple of things and biscuits in one side and cubed cheese on the other. But then I don't know, and some one got poisoned or whatever. So you don't do that anyware. You buy the cube cheese in the in the bags.

Cheese lay people are lazy and aren't they just cube in your own cheese?

I like, well, you buy block and cut it up in the cubes. Really do you buy the other cheese, like the sprinkled cheese grated?

Yeah, because you buy the block and cut it up, So.

What about what the grated cheese? Would you buy and grate your own cheese? Absolutely, I've got the greater at buy a packet of grapes and cheese or no, you.

Let yourself down mate, You go and buy a block of cheese it's cheaper than buying the cheese that's already you're lying.

There's no way you have enough time. Great cheese or square cube we cut cheese.

Got one thing to say to you, you dribbler. Costs of living. Have you got like in your fridge? You know where you've got the shelves where you slide them in and out. You know one, you've got one, Well, there's veggies.

But we got cheese. And when we've got a whole one, the whole. We have that much cheese, sliced cheese, we have the unsliced cheese. We have more sliced cheese without the plastic. So you buy the you buy the box of cheese. Also, we've got like blocks of cheese and cheese. But we've also I don't think we've got any of the cube cheese. But if we were having a party or something, I'd be happy to buy the cube cheese. I wouldn't cut it up. We've got the sliced cheese and the grated cheese.

Have you tried the hamburger cheese. There's this orange Hamburger cheese.

I bought that.

Now beautiful, but it's like an orange color.

Missus and daughter of masted how to make McDonald's burgers. There you can get the McDonald's sauce. I'm sure you can buy it at the shops. And they get that cheese you talk about that orange colored cheese, and they're beautiful, really beautiful. One three.

I love food, all right, one three, one eight seven three. If you'd like to join in the conversation we're having. What we're talking about cheese cheese.

I still can't believe you're trying to say great cheese cheese.

I think most people out there would grate their own cheese.

They would, absolutely they will time spent time, two seconds.

No chance, love you, but no way. You live by yourself, like with full respect. Like you've only got to look after yourself. If you've got a family, you've got a great enough cheese for five people.

But it doesn't take that long to grate your own cheese.

You just get the thing down for an extra sixty you can also just.

Cheese on, by the way, maybe a little bit of chees.

There.

When you sing.

Songs and you don't know the words to them, you're thinking cocomo, like as in coke marjas. All right, well, let's put it out there one three, one eight seven three the number with the cheese at your place. Do you buy the block cheese and great at yourself or do you buy it already greater than the pack?

One three one eight seven three.

We've got some showbacks to give away thanks to our mates at Stone Exteriors nil or the scored after thirteen minutes of play the Warriors in Penrith.

Your calls up next here on the continuous call Tame.

I've just had a message through from the birthday boy, the one Eye and who you'll hear tomorrow with the boys, Gavin Pitchford. He said leave. He saved me some dip. I just finished thirty six holes of putt putt with the family. Was an emotional rollercoaster. Great grace hit one shot out of the putt, but course onto the road. Plus my son fin ended up fully clothed in the water.

That's awesome.

He's had a big day. The Waddy and the kids got on your one eye.

Well, look, you've also caused some great concern here in the studio, Drea. Was something you've said during the commercial break? Really think the cheese?

What was that? I love a plastic cheese. I have it on toast all the time.

But say what you said to me, Say what.

I preferred it.

I said, it's better than the block cheese. And I don't mind the plastic cheese. If I can handle that, I wouldn't cut a block cheese to put it on a bit of toast.

You wouldn't know.

There's nothing better, nothing better than that. There's nothing better than the block cheese. But yeah, nothing better. There is something better about beer and a drink of bourbon.

Maybe all right, well let's harry up and fight. Were you so we don have a couple of bourbons. I've forgotten what it's like to have a couple of drinks. You need to get out there, but you need to stop working so hard. It's all right, I like what I did. Jason's at Penrith jas.

Hey, fellas and ladies are very well.

Thank you mate.

A couple of plastic cheese on toast is.

The way to go.

Thank you on toast.

Great, great, great, my own cheese, Thank you. And the best thing is poor means nuchose.

That sounds good.

The poor man's nachos, mate.

All means nachos, bag of corn, chips, koolole of hand graded trees, on top straight in the album fifteen minutes, bring it out. Half a cup of sour cream, No nothing, A way.

Of Traco sauce on the top Champion.

Yeah sometimes yeah, out of interesting without all the crap, more good, out of interest.

Jason, are you a heap like myself and Darryl?

No, I'm six foot four and sixty cop.

You sound like you cook eggs in the microwave as well.

No, Jason, how does it take you to greater kilo of cheese?

I'm not four mate, two minutes exactly.

Mae, you're making out as if it's something lng process. You're not outdoing the lords. You're great in cheese.

It's not that I have to be lazy.

It's unnecessary.

Claver, you know what it is.

It's good fitness. Craigs in Brisbane. I like Craig.

Yeah, good boys. Your grated cheese has a clary substance on the outside of it to stop it from sticking to each other. That's why it's not as good for you as block cheese.

Ah.

Yeah, it's no good.

It's whatever it is. This so you're saying that Alanis and Giral are imbeciles. Basically, that's what you do.

On the top of that, you're trying to say that the grated cheese isn't as good for you as the cheese.

That what I want to say. What he's saying.

He's also saying that LEVI and Big Man's healthier.

Than you and I.

As if you want to if you want to put your block cheese on toast, you use a potato peel.

That's what I do.

I peel the cheese so it goes out and your Miller meter strip.

Understand mate, sounds clever.

Be a Queenslander, I'm sure.

Craig thank you for that. Well, I'm Tippic he is. He lives in Brucebane three and Sheel Harber.

Hello, Jina, Hello, how are you?

Thank you?

Gina, Hello to all the team.

You're great, by the way, Thank.

You, Thanks Jenny. I've been working on it for years.

Talk us about.

Cheese, Gina, Well, do you remember me Mark?

Which but yesterday didn't I we did.

I made the platter and I sent you some photos and guess what I cubed my pro just for you.

Oh God love you. How did the cubes Provoloni.

Taste just like Poloni?

Could you say?

Gina?

Also when she was putting together a plant yesterday. She was referencing the mut there and the procutor. You said it all very very fat.

Yes, so you like your pudo positive.

But on the plat, I have a look at the pictures.

I see you. There is there's not there's coppa. There's my homemade salami.

Leave you don't like for you? They don't like it on that? Now? Can you go from like really swive talking to being a batler talk like so quickly?

Because that's because I'm a true norma?

No no I love normal No no no, yes, well look no no love. I'd love to try some of that salami. If you can send some up for us.

I shall give me the address and I shall send it to you.

All right, stay there, I'll put you back to Andrew and we'll see if we can get that address.

To you and might drop it around your place.

She's she's a nona. I think you're also been there for a while. That's good coming from you, mister prost Ye.

Two wrongs don't make it right? For one? Eight seven three is the number? Pools A little long? Hello, Paul, how are good? Mate?

That's good? Love the show? Yeah, just to your other callers ice icually you saw about the gong bark. I used to work, I used to work with the cheese pastto and fucking just say that grated, shredded or grated cheese is what they call the ears nose and no saying.

Which is why, my friends, you should grate your own cheese, unlike virgo and unlike.

The g stree.

So what's it called that he knows? And what probably the bottom part.

Of what holds of the of the cheese world.

So they put all the off cuts of all the different cheeses that had worse cheese. What's what's wrong with the off cuts of cheese? Off cutters lude the old days would have been just discarded. You're already discarded cheese.

So what is if you've had a square block of cheese, a little bit that come off the end of it's still the cheese.

Did you just listen to what Paul said? It's the bad bits of the churn.

You know what?

You two are irresponsible? Three seven three the number. Thank you, Paul.

In fact, Paul stay, they will send you a showbag from Stoning Steriors as well.

Males at South Penrith, Hello maw.

Lady.

How are you good? Thank you mate, he'd be good.

Blake from you?

Mate?

Is versatile?

Yes, Versatility is the ultimate when it comes to trees.

Well, can we just have you patented that? Male?

That's a brilliant that's a slogan.

Just say that again. Versatility is the ultimate when it comes to cheese.

Exactly, big man.

Well you know what mail on, I'm I'm suggesting something. Well you not only getting a show bag. I'm going to take it to the cheese manufacturers and go. Look now from South Penriths sent through a great quote that needs to go on a cheese packet. Versatility is a great thing when it comes to chase well, I can't remember there and well done, mate, Just send it through again for me, will you. Michael's down in Tasmania.

Hello Michael, good eye gang here you're going good now? Listen, uh big man double sniff to Alna and Grubby. They don't know what they're talking about. Shredding the trees is the go and I'm going to tell you step it up. We've got a three shred blend. Stop it the Guda and the parmesan on your double.

Notch stopping Barcael so you're those three different cheese and combine them and puts it on.

Then you guys that buy your shredded cheese and would know there's a three cheese blending, but you make your own and it's Champion. I'm telling you, I just don't know.

I don't doubt that it doesn't taste great. I just don't know how people have time to do. Mate.

You can come over to my place at four thirty or five pm and watch me trying great three friggin blocks of cheese.

You've got to stop sleeping.

So long do you sleep?

Probably one more than Guss Good. I'm a shocking sleeper. Yeah, that's right.

Well, I'm sorry for asking.

What about?

What about when guys got some downtime, he can get into the kitchen and great a whole heap of cheese.

Now that we know it's healthier, it's a good point.

Guy should be grating the cheese anyway.

Guy, lift your game, Champion, lift your game. Great the cheese, mate, got on your Michael, thank you. One more up at ropes crossing.

Hello, Alf, there is no way that you would have time to break your own cheese. First and secondly, then you're also going to spend time cleaning your tool because it'll be all cheesy.

Sorry, that's a big statement. I've done our feast for Corye.

You could get us all off right. There's no way you're taking the time out of grape cheese. He's home.

What time you get home normally in the afternoon, two o'clock, mat.

It's got He probably has a little nye and he gets up at about five. This is what I'm thinking. I think, you know what.

Actually, memory serves me correct.

I was talking to a fairly influential politician the last time I was grating cheese. I put the phone on speaker and I was grating cheese whilst doing it.

I don't believe you.

I was made the knuckles bleed.

Oh yeah, what about when you get your knuckle and it gets you a little chip out of you?

You can aid that.

Yeah, I'm all about the healthy aspect of the block chair. You can tell.

So you're trying to say, it's just not it's not healthier if you.

Were taking your fight cheer, so you'd be eating block chair.

It's like it is a comparison for you, mate, the cheese you're getting in your packet already grated is like sausages. Sausages are made of just a nice, very very Where they come from? Where do you think I want to know where they come from? They take nice? They come from the pigs. Nice what you're reading like a pig, That's where they come from. They come from the off cuts of meat. And what do you think that is? Big? Here? Bro?

Now he's starting, I do love it. I'm going to get you the contents of earth sausage and just a second, I'm going to read.

It out to you on the way to the break.

You're feeling sick, Why don't we bring up what we were talking about earlier. We know Australia is a proud sporting nation and am Pole is proud to power that sporting passion from Australia's greatest sporting rivalry state of origin to supporting our little league legends. Am Pole has your back for every single now biding moment. They help get you to local grounds where dreams are born, into the country's biggest stadiums so you can enjoy those once in a lifetime experiences, whether you're cheering on the sidelines or shouting from your living room. And Pole is on your team. And has your back on and off the field, Am Pole, proudly powering our sporting nation. A poll has straight his Arnt, Mark Levy, Paul Gallan, Daryl Brim and Lana ferguson the continuous call Team Warriors six lead Penrith four with thirteen minutes remaining in the first half. Six four the School Warriors leading Penrith. I just want to turn our attention into and your attention to a big game tomorrow where the boys will be calling and broadcasting the show from ali Arnt Stadium because it's the Emergency Services match that they're having out there at ali Arnt Stadium. I was there last year and got to see all of the demonstrations and driver avenue taken over by all of the different emergency services, so you get to see all the police cars, the ambulances and all those sorts of things. And then there's a big celebration at halftime in the game tomorrow between the Roosters and the Cowboys.

So it's going to be a great day out there.

And the other thing that I love kids five dollars tickets, so really affordable to take the family along, and obviously the kids love what the Emergency Services do. The RFS helicopter is going to be landing there as well. It's going to all be happening. The RFS Commissioner, Rob Rodgers, he'll be with the boys in the box tomorrow. He'll be handing out the Commissioner's medal. So I thought we check in with the Roosters. Their assistant coach is Justin Holbrook. He's on the line right now.

Gooday, Justin. Hey Mike, how are made very well?

Look, I'm a big supporter of emergency services, as we all are, given the role they play in the community. And I often use the analogy that when we're running away from danger, they're running to the danger.

And I think it's really really.

Special of both the Roosters, the Cowboys and the NRL to hold this emergency services match.

So good on you, mate, Good on the Chucks for jumping on board.

Yeah, well, as you mentioned, you know, I think it's a fantastic way of given them a bit of credit. As you mentioned, our harder job that they do. And this is the second year running down. As you said, they've got activations everywhere outside before the game, they've got a game curtain raised, their new police Versustrali and firefighters and then yeah, everything else at halftime and things like that. So I think it's a great recognition for the real heroes I guess of the country out of interest.

Does the club get somebody in during the week to talk to you about all of this or is it something that you've spoken about in the.

Lead up to the game.

We have spoken about Yeah, we didn't have anyone in particular, but we have spoken about the number of people that are going to be there from as you've already mentioned, made, the police, firefighters, the indle and surf life saving, rural everybody. So we have acknowledged it and we feel pretty proud that. Yeah, we're sort of given it the activation that it deserves at a rugby League match, justin you've.

Chosen a great time for it as well being a home game, but Sunday vo means the whole family can come and the kids can really lap it up as well.

Yeah, it's awesome. I think everybody you know, we all know TV and we've got to play a lot of games at night. But if you're a player or a coach or a spectator, you love you love Sunday after the Rugby League so yeah, to have the sort of four o'clock kickoff tomorrow. In particular the weather, the sort of weather we've been having lately, it's excellent, so it should be a great game. Obviously it's the Cowboys who are a pretty dangerous attacking sort, so it should be good.

Justin you've got five Origin players. Will they all back up or they all ok to you they will go? Yeah.

Obviously all teams handle this differently and obviously a long flight back from Perth, but for our team and our players, we actually have to buy the weekend after, so that's a reason why they all will back up. So they've all pulled up okay, and we obviously we train today and they'll have some time off next week before they'll go into Origin for the third match. So yeah, without our buy sort of post Origin games rather than prior, so they all will play mate.

Yep, mat they're tougher pint at the Cowboys, they always are. I'm just having a look at your results. Actually beaten you the last couple of times I've played, and beat you there last year at earlier, so there. Well, it's a funny competition, is there. There's so many sides that looked great one week and let's so squeeze the next. I mean, it's just all over the place and he's down.

You know, as frustrated as that can be for a coach or a funeral a player, I think it's pretty exciting. I think, you know, your top four that are traveling pretty nicely. Although you know, I was watching the game on now and sort of penrith of the best of the first twenty and I know the Warrior has just scored, but those top four and then you've got a real log jam from sort of fifth to twelfth or really for the rest of the comp to be honest, and yeah, it is hard, but that just shows how even the comfies mate, and you know, you need things to go away, and you've got to get momentum at the right time and all that's got to sort of be on his side and try and get your best players on the field, in particular around this time of year when as you said, you know, everyone's beating everybody and you've got origin players that are mentally and physically got to back up for their clubs and how well whoever does that the best and over this period of time can order sneak up there or fall behind.

Justin just before you go, you're a great coach and you're now working under a great coach in Trent Robinson. I'm interested in what your thoughts are on the coaching prows, so to speak of Paul Allen, because I believe you're You're young Bluck plays in Gal's team and I had the unfortunate pleasure whilst down at Shark Park last weekend, if not the weekend before Gal watching the kids play on a mobile fine because he couldn't be there to watch out there at Penrith and Mate, he was right in the highs and the lows.

How do you think he's handling coaching at? What great is it?

Paulo under four ahes He takes it seriously.

He does Mate than any favorite and obviously going to give him a rap here you know the statstard line games and now that he is winning and they tend to win, yeah, really well and they play a real good brand of footy, so you know, I do want to give Galla rap.

He does a great job.

Yeah, young Fletcher. So Fletcher's Justin's son. You know he's moved to the sixth tomorrow.

Yeah, he told me that.

So he's been throwing on the footy around a bit more at a half, so he's got to aim up a bit tomorrow for him. But yeah, it's great. It's great that God's like gal and there's a number of obviously sort of ex players and current players tory and get involved and help younger teams, and I reckon that's so good for the competition and the kids himself.

He deserves for that. Why aren't we throwing in the furthest and letting coach the Titan for a couple.

Of years and.

You up for that, Justin, might be a little bit more stressful.

Good on you, mate.

The boys will see out there tomorrow at Aliants Stadium, a great celebration of the emergency services and a great acknowledgment of the work they do in the community and for the people of New South Wales. Thanks so much for your time, Justin, Thanks for having me well mate, Justin Holbrook, assistant coach under Trent Robinson. Out there at the Roosters and again world under the both clubs and get out there because you've got a chance to win a B Y d C line six. There's five dollars junior tickets and you know there's going to be so much to see and do. It was the same last year and just stopping and having a chat to some of the police officers, the paramedics to fires. They were just really appreciative of what the NRL is doing to acknowledge the work that they're doing in the community. So world under all involved. Back around the grounds, we do that. For McDonald's six minutes remaining in the first half, Warrior is six pen Worth four six for the School Warriors, Lee Penrith. We are the continuous call Tame Team. I've got some good news you'll You'll remember when you had that phone call from Gina who makes her own salami, and she was talking about the pro.

I don't know anything else sex it will say. Gina was actually on Master Chef.

I'm glad you said sexy because when she was talking about whatever that cheese was.

I was like, that sounds sexy, so hot.

Well, she was on Master Chef and did extremely well and she's actually going to come and visit us next Saturday, and she's going to bring in a plotter for us.

Brings up.

Please fergot I really your ship. We used to next week she brings precuto. You can't have any properly pro.

Well, you said you don't like it, you said you don't want to you I like it, so therefore you shouldn't have means it just so you can't.

Can I make a comment? I thought Fergo and the way I said it was quite sexy, and you've just ruined them it again. That's crazy aful, that's awful, that's awful.

That's like, what's the sexiest word to say in the English language, Darrel?

I do love chocolate?

Can I mention something?

Phil?

So?

What original? On Wednesday? Gail, you'll remember this.

We're sitting out behind the commentary boxes right there's myself, there's Matt Thoms and Peter bursaltis Goo was there a few others. Piggy Riddell and the gas maister walked in. Phil Girld and he sat down and we were sitting there watching Tipping Point with Todd Woodbridge and then Daryl said, Gussie, what actually tell some stories about when we lived together? And gas said, what about the cleansing chocolate used to have before bed?

I did have a cleansing chocolate.

He's a cleansing chocolate.

Just when I was playing, Like when I was allegedly fitted, I did a block of chocolate the night before a game.

Chocolate, a whole block.

I made of eating the whole block of chocolate A lot of Time's not that difficult if you just need to try harder. You know, when you come to a stage where you think I'm going to be sick, you just power through, move on. So that's where your mind does play tricks on your Alana's just get your mind focused and have another few.

Blocks if you've got any other.

Yeah, there's a few people who're saying or overrated, and grass I would say it's grass I do think it's overrated for the price.

Anyway, I saw one here from a gentleman who sent a message Markets Andrew from you and God, do you want to read that one? And I find that interesting.

Markets Andrew and you and go.

I'm cooking the missed buffalo sausages with cheese and parsley, mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. She doesn't need to know the recipe for the sausages. Please, Oh the missus. He's cooking the missus buffalo sausages.

That's a buffalo. Good sounds unreal. Do you like buffalo wings spicy? Yeah? Have you seen him fly? No? I haven't. I love buffalo wings that are so beautiful when the hot they are the beauty spicy. Yeah, I'm not a big spicy fan. What do they call them buffalo wings when they're not really from Buffalo's really good questions? Sure that that's a stupid thing to call them. I think buffalo wings buffalos don't even fly, but they do taste good. I love them. You you love ribs, ribs?

Yes, that's see. That's another one that's over.

They are.

There's a lot of a lot of mess. You give me a steak, give me any form of meat over ribs.

Any tell me where you go and you can have combo, seakcane breath, hogs breast.

There's a couple. One that was the one that that was done. That which was unreal was that it's not there anymore? Was that couldie?

When the gather, every origin camp, every single Australian camp coming was called.

But go down a cookie?

Yeah, but it was so nice to combo rib I just find.

No, no, no, it's a lot of effort the ribs. There's a lot of mess. There's a lot of mess. You don't get much meat on my phone. You put a bib on, chop them up and you eat it.

It's the best. Now, it's an experience within it. Ribs cut up right, put them in a bolt tip, the sauce on the top of them, put it in the oven. That what you have to do.

Too much of it?

You want to cube you.

Stay, got a barbecue, maybe some dying.

Sauce, cubing cheese and shredding cheese.

I'll tell you what the beauty about ribs is. It's the novelty of eating ribs. Yeah, exactly, any meat off things there is so an absolute fortune for them.

If you get good ribs.

They're meaty, thank you, They definitely are.

They take forever to come on the table because they've got to cook them in the oven and do all these different things.

Real poor gallon moment.

No, I'm not I reckon.

No.

One seven three of another. No, they were with me on chair, with me on ribs.

We're after a break by the way Panthers have scored Ali Molly lining up the conversion attempt Penroth Hate Worry is six break back with more. The Lovely Lizzie Wilson is listening to us in Brisbane and she's a big fan of yours. Fergo. She says, I love Fergo. Gosh, he's the top bird Mark, so big fan of yours Fergo, Lizzie. Lizzie says Levy. Buffalo Wings originated in Buffalo, New York, nineteen sixties.

PS. We're having pork ribs for dinner.

Sounds ribs so overrated compared to spear ribs or pork belly.

Thank you Ross.

What else have we got here? Out Beck Steakhouse is maybe what you were thinking about. They do the ribs as well. Finished me say Kelly's. He said, Kelly's, that's the one.

Kelly.

Kelly's was that it's a bonder. It wasn't Miranda. I think it's closing Randa God, and everyone loves him so much. I'm they're all closing down exactly seven three. Give us your opinion.

Have you been to a Brazilian restaurant where they come.

Around with it?

Have you had a Brazilian it's not what?

Jeez, I pity the poor person giving you one.

I probably had one. So what was the one?

What was the one that was?

Remember? The there was like I know you can eat Brazilian place in Coronola.

Well so the Brazilian place as you go to they walk around at.

The met shouldn't they just get it off in front?

Yeah, and you just eat as much as you want.

You know what I find some of them is like the process meet where it's not the actual real meat. It's like, oh really, yeah, that's all fine, like the kebab stuff, yes, like that sort of stuff there. For there used to be one at came but which used to do that. I never went there again.

Down there's one on could you be road? There's a nice Brazilian join in there somewhere.

Used to actually be a really good one in Nui because whenever we'd have footy caps there we'd always go.

Yeah right, I highly I highly recommend it.

They just need they need a couple more sides there because you just get full full of with meat you walk out like you can't.

Well sides like go to the bathroom for a couple of days. You know, a few issues with that perth.

I fixed it, excuse me on the plane or when you got home.

I fixed it when I got home. I didn't get on the plane.

Hello, did you buy laxidis in Perth.

I bought, well, they weren't laxative, something that, as my mother would say, easing problems. And I took a couple and then good when I got home.

But what caused this, Daryl? That probably just what I was eating under pressure on the plane. Oh well, there's this pressure all over the place in this body.

I'm so sorry I brought that up.

Do you find you swell? You swell as far as when you're on the plane of the pressure you're talking about. If you know, if you've ever looked like if you look at some of your ankles and all that sort of things swell.

There's not much else swelling. There's a lot of parts of me that do swell, but there's one particular part of that's gone.

Jeez, there you go.

Sorry, he hasn't for a while, Actually it hasn't.

It's Saturday.

Yeah, come on, listen, I'm disgusting. Turns out I told you during the week stop bringing.

That up on made fergo bought it. I'm not me, No, no, no, you X when you're in I'm just so entrenched in the fight and my train that just.

Kids, have you eaten all that deep?

No? Some of it's still here, typ of deep. What's that a bag of dead rat? You're pretty much though bloody. They had about twelve biscuits. That's because you piled the dip on the biscuit and keeping some for later. Your ratio with dip on biscuit is all over the place.

Bra that's it's quite consistent. It was just enormous mad.

It was like a mountain of dip on the jets cracking. What's wrong with that man?

You don't know? Shering, You know no one. Alartis doesn't want any he's on a diet and you're not having any.

What about jabber jaws? Avery doing all the talking?

And there's plenty of heap left the hept you're hitting yourself and there's about eight biscuits left. I reckon that there's one eighth left, one ah left. You've eaten my style. I'd say three quarters three quarters gone exactly.

You know how the rock stars have a rider before they gets I You know they have certain things in the dressing room. Have you got like a rider that you're going to have in your dressing rou please?

Who's going to go take it to the toilet? When you got the glove hogs. That's his only job. It's for me best mate's I mean six or seven years old, and that's his job.

That poor bugger touching over that long because you know, whenever I played footy, just before the two minute.

Bell would ring, would run straight, talking together. Just Italian nerves.

It's just nerves, and I'd always do it, but with the gloves, and you can't too much about it.

You can't even put your pairs down.

What about one of the blokes that sat next to me on the way to Perth when I flew over there, he got up to go to the TOI a little about twelve times.

So on the way home, I'm walking down the aisle in the middle. I'm in the middle seat right.

Two guys are staying at me. I said, yeah, boys, that's me. I'm so sorry, I said, you know what else? I got the blood of the size of a p.

I'll be up. I got about four times. He would have been fair. I honestly go to tourd all the time.

Like in a four hour I think I got up three times seriously and I said, mane, I'm sorry, sorry, I.

Just got to get up again. I don't think it's I think something's wrong.

You need to go to the you.

I've had my blood tested for prostate issues and that's I'm okay. I reckon when you said you got to blurder the size of a per I don't think it's just your bladder.

Boys, next week we'll be checking in with Mark Hughes for the annual Beanie for Brain Cancer around the website Mark Hughesfoundation dot com. You but I want to check in with an extraordinary Australian right now. His name is Scott Hinston and he's running from Melbourne to newca l to help raise funds for the Mark Hughes Foundation. It's all ahead of the Beanie for Brain Cancer around next weekend and Scott's hoping to raise one hundred thousand dollars and he's currently sitting at around fifty thousand dollars.

He began.

He's run from Amy Park in Melbourne last Sunday and he'll end up at McDonald Jones Stadium on Friday night ahead of the Knights Raiders game, which we'll be calling.

And today I believe he's.

Around young on his way to Cara and I've got him on the line right now, Caaday, Scotty.

Good day.

You guys are your own mate.

More importantly, how are you going, mate? We're all well, thank you for asking, but it's quite a journey. And firstly, mate, well done for your support of the Mark Hughes Foundation. Just talk to us why you're doing it and how the run's going so far.

Yeah, thanks very much. I'm about sixty five k's down on day seven. Of the moments, it might be a bit delirious, but we'll do our best. But now it's going really good. Mark's Foundations a really popular foundation in Newcastle, has been for some time. Mark Journey's been very inspiring one and I just wanted to get behind it and get the word out, spread awareness and that brain cancer and hopefully raising a few your funds at the same time.

Are you finding a lot of people supporting you along the way, Scott, Because if there's one thing that Australians love, that's to support people like you. Who are doing good things for really important charities, of people giving you a pad on the back and donating along the way.

Yeah, honey said. And coming into the country towns now like Kudemandre and young and heing towards CAW, I'll getting a lot of support and not a good feedback. So I think it just brings positivity out of everyone. That's the main key to this. So everyone gets around EAHLR, everyone wants to support it and I just had some great support each day from everyone. So the Newcastle community has been unreal as well, so they love their footy up there. Everyone siks by the Markets Foundation and throughout Australia and everyone's getting behind it, which is unreal.

Scott. What brought you to do what you're doing? Mate? Are you affected by it or did you just feel compelled to do it?

Yeah?

Great question. So I probably grew up playing foot when I was younger playing rugby in in and they went on to do a lot of half marathon and marathons and then I kind of got a bit over the whole racing and the playing sports side of things, and I went through a couple of charity runs and I did a big line a couple of years ago, and I really enjoyed the feedback I got from it and just what I took out of it.

And I think.

That's what I love about this sort of stuff. We can get out to different communities, get so many people involved with it, and it just brings that positivity out of it run and that's where we see so many bad things in news these days. But to change the round of stuff like this and bring it run together, I think it's a great thing for different communities.

Yeah, you're a champion for doing it, Scott.

I've got a quick question though, how many pairs of joggers are you expected to go through from the start right up until the end, because I've got to mate that run from Wagga to somewhere in Sydney and he chewed.

Through a few.

Yeah, good question.

Got to I've got the same shoes as Will good or across when you did that run across Australia not long ago. So it's the Brooks what they call the Maximus Gel so they're pretty handy. They lasted a while, so I've got two pairs of them and I've got another two pairs of shoes as well. But I'm very particularly about my shoes, so I try and rotate those two.

What about trophic that's a big issue.

They bring out some good stuff now to Brett that So I think then being around the game for a while, I've gotten used to avoiding that. But there's still days to go, so what could happen?

What about rushing to the duney?

What about your body then? Like, yeah, you said you've done plenty of hard marathons and marathons. Are you that used to running that sort of distance that you're not getting soare?

I mean?

I imagine at the start you would have been sorrow at the start, you probably getting used to, is that right?

Yeah?

Gal, It's a funny thing. It's like anybody just progressively gets a condition with this, it's a it's more of a mental game really in physical all Like the hardest part stopping and starting again, Like getting up first in the morning is a real challenge. Just to walk to the bathroom or just to get your shoes on a bit of a challenge. But once you get knitting again, your body just gets that zone and it's an amazing thing what your human body can do. And I think if you're just sort of teach you that that repercussion and do the same thing every day. It soon gets used to it, but yeah, it's still pretty sore.

At the same time, she's got it before before we let you get back to it made.

And I know your tallies at around that fifty thousand mark. You're hoping to get up to one hundred thousand. And we've got some really really generous listeners who tune into us each and every weekend across Australia. Mate, how can we jump on board and support what you're doing.

And we can go to the link there, So the Mike Us Foundation link we've got going. So yeah, we'll just reached over fifty thousand dollars, but any donation, big or small, it's going to go towards a great course. So yeah, to put the word out to anyone who wants to jump on and support us as awesome. And I think the towns we're heading towards you soap we know we're coming along and can get out and support us as well, they'd be amazing.

All right, Well, yeah, go to Mark Hughesfoundation dot com dot are you and you can find the link there to support Scott Kinston. He's at fifty thousand, and mate, if we can get it up close to one hundred thousand with a few days to go through the generosity of our listeners, I'm sure that they'll be jumping on board right now because what you're.

Doing is just inspiring and in its own right, mate, So keep up the good work.

Get there safely, mate, that's the most important thing. And we'll see you in Newcastle on Friday.

Go well, mate, looking forward to it. Thanks you guys, Good on you buddy.

What a terrific fellow and what a great Australian. I love when people do these sorts of things. Scott Hinston is his name, and we'll check in with Mark Hughes next week Mark Hughes Foundation dot com dot au. Now, just a couple of other things coming through before I get to a break. By the way, eight six Penrith leading Warriors, six minutes gone on the second half. The Cowboys have confirmed Rhyese, Robson and Ruben Cotter won't back up from Origin tomorrow against the Roosters. Tom Diddon and Jeremiah Nanay are set to play. All the Rooster's Origin stars are backing up, as Justin Holbrook told us last hour and you'll probably hear more about this in the news. This has just come out by police. A man's been arrested and charged after a teenage boy was injured following an alleged hit and run in Sydney's East today just after four am.

They were called to Beach.

Road at Maruba following reports a person and been struck by a car. The man who's been charged has been refused bail and he'll appear before Paramatta Local Court tomorrow. Just some breaking news coming through from police. Now, Gal, I'm going to take a break and on the other side of the is you're going to take charge of the continuous call team and an actor's host. I'll leave you in charge for ten minutes. You can't take a break, but you're going to be in charge.

I don't know a penal.

I'll sit here and push the buttons, but you can. You can take charge and host, or.

Your listen is out there, or you listen listen. I'm going to go straight to you guys, and I'm happy to help you.

We know Australia is a proud sporting nation. You're not hosting yet you're doing it after the break. We know Australia is a proud sporting nation because it's going to come back to horn him. He said last week, how hard can it be? Hasteon to continuous curl team? How hard can it be? Well, this jabber jaws next to me is about to find out on the way to the break. We are here at the interactive studio here the Harvey Norman Interactive Studio.

We have brought to you by McDonald's today. They're our major sponsor.

It's currently twelve points to hate the worries of leading the Penrith Panthers with about thirty minutes to go in the second half, so not a bad game at the moment over there in Auckland.

But I want to provide something else to you, you listeners. I want to open up the lines. Let's talk. Let's talk about whatever you want to talk about. You can call in, ask myself, Darryl or Alanis anything you want to talk about?

Life, love, whatever you want? You know what, Daryl might have turned to the love God just for a little moment here. Is that possible, Daryl? No, No, it's not pol Okay, not possible. Tom Malone, if you're out there listening, please call in and say hello. It's just Mark Leavey, who job it is to panel this terrific show has decided to take a couple of breaks, and Browman hasn't even got his headset on. So when it's contract time, just get rid of him. Put an exit through his name, a big red pen. But he listens out. If you want to call in callin, let's have a chat. Let's talk about whatever you want to talk about. Now you know what, Let's take a break, take a break.

No, you're not allow to take breaks.

Okay, well I've opened the line. Call in, let's chat about whatever you want to chat about. Listeners his headset on, they're on there. Listen, guys, let's go, let's talk. Let's talk. What do you want to talk about? How's life been? Fergo?

That's great radio.

This is unreal. This, this can't be that. It's not that hard. That's I'm asking. I'm asking you, how's life. Let's chat? But you won't talk. You're the ones who aren't talking, so.

Out of interest. I don't mean to interrupt you hosting this program.

So you've you've used like, let's talk, let's let's talk about life, because like, okay, that gets you through five minutes.

What are you gonna do for the next time.

I don't have to do that for the next a minute. We've got to talk for five minutes. If we have ten callers, we'll get two minutes each other.

At the.

There's one some some keep callinging. Guys, I'll talk about whatever you want to talk about. We can't take it, don't sound drunk, and it says on the screen, So how you been? This is so? This is the stupid thing I'm asking you. Guys. How you mean I'm asking you to contribute? How I can't follow like a hawk and I'm hanging around goose Is like you this is the problem. Okay, Well ask me again? How you being, big mart? How's life good? What's been happening? Just chilling? That's it. So you're in a radio program and you've just been chilling all week. I've been chilling, but I've left you.

Know.

What I do like to do is entertaining the fans.

Girl, as opposed, how are you say the fans today by not talking to you? That's that's not saying anyone.

It's entertaining.

Well us, let me help you.

I don't read well.

You want to do what? You want to be a host?

I don't want to be a host.

You want to be How hard can it be?

Exactly right?

You read?

When you learn, When you learn and you're taught how to panel, and you're taught how to be a host, that's when you becomes I've never learned.

I've never been taught read. This is our most call. Thank you, listeners, thank you for calling. Who are we going to? Where we're going? Levy? Can you please run that panel? It's seeing as I can't run the panel you're hosting, mate, Well, how much I don't even know how to run the pedel?

I told you this before. I can't run the panel. A host of a radio show would welcome in a caller that rings the open line, but I don't know how to touch it and make him. Well, you can't see the screen in front of it over there. I haven't got to come look at it. There's no screen in front of me.

All the professional host would have made themselves available.

Look playing to the listeners. I've explained to you, have explained to everyone. I don't know how to pedel. I've never been taught how to panel. How was I supposed to know how to get a call?

I'll take a break, pull on the text line and that she's what an absolute punish you.

I tend to agree with that.

What's it on the run along? Let the callers, Let the callers on the line, tours to them.

You've got to bring them in. You're the host.

How I don't know how to do it. I'll just tell you tennis is online? When to do one?

Are you on?

Dennis? Let's see what you want to talk about nis?

Can you hear me?

Yeah?

I got your Dennis? How I am mad? How's your day?

Yeah?

Yeah?

Good?

Thanks girl?

Good.

I'm after some advice, mate, Yeah, what about Well, you.

Know you probably know more about leg than lady.

So I thought i'd bring because you're hosting now and you know, yeah, playing for.

New South Wales and you know, losing a few games.

I'm just sort of after some advice when you're down, you're down on the dumps and.

You're looking to turn things around.

What's a sort of secret you know thing when you're coaching or leading a team to turn them around?

When the same.

Go to the next call.

That wasn't me about hung up on you? By the way, that was Mark Levy, who's apparently not hosting the show, hung up on you. So I apologize.

Mate.

We've got Jenny from Chipping Norton here for you, girl.

Jenny, Hi girl, how are you good?

Thank you? Jenny?

I just thought I might ring in to discuss male menopause.

Well, you know, what is there such a thing? Do you think.

It is a very touchy thing.

But why do you think it is a thing?

What?

What?

Why do you think marminopause is a problem.

I think because men deny it or is it.

A medical fact that it actually is true?

Oh, I can tell it's true.

Are you a doctor?

I think I think you're suffering from that.

Actually me, you know.

What we menopause will have.

I said, Saturday is my normal day. But I haven't been have been active.

At the probably for the past couple of weeks actually because I'm in this FIPE mode at the moment.

Working are hard. But I wouldn't call it menopause. I'd call it a just my brain. He's elsewhere.

Ah, but I heard you earlier talking about your problems with your urine utra.

Yes, I've actually discussed that with Alana soft Air, and she thinks I should get my prospets.

I also think he has problem, Jenny, Yeah, I do.

She the Lantas told me she didn't go to talk for like four hours, which I thought was quite amazing.

Can you hold on for that long? Also, I had some alone is listening.

Actually we have good pelvic control.

Yeah, Actually I do agree with that because my wife got on for a long long time leave me.

Feel free to whe.

You need to.

Jenny. I hope that helped you there, But it helped Does that helped you out? Are you okay?

It hasn't helped me, but I'm hoping it helped you.

I was going to get through this fight. I'll be back on the work bench. I'll be right. No worry about it.

Okay, Thank you very much for you.

I appreciate your concern. Thank you.

And Manly No, I don't like Manly.

It's great radio. I'll tell you what next. Next collar?

Please?

Is the next caller email? I don't read make it up. I don't read make it make it up?

Is the time to concede that it's not as easy as it looks.

I've said to you before.

If I was taught out a panel, I was taught out of hose I could do it wouldn't be that hard.

But I've never been taught out of panel. I've never been taught. I have no ambition.

It wouldn't be that hard.

It wouldn't be gosh you are.

If I was taught how to do it, it wouldn't be that hard. It's like people think rugby leage's hard, But I was taught how to do it, so I know how to put your role.

Wasn't that hard?

Where's mister jen with a boom boom?

Well, I think it might take over because I think the ABC's ratings have just skyrocketed off the back of that rubbish.

Well then, Paul, thank you mate. Can I just give you a little bit of advice off the back of that sort of performance?

Th we got another call that Simon, Yeah, yeah, he wants to.

Talk about life when we won't be taking that. You know why because her topic talking about life.

Is Simon, I was going to help you in whateveryone is say.

You're not a counselor, you're a radio host, so now I'm my host. No, you're not that, And I said, I don't want to be a host. But look, my advice to you is this. My advice to you is this. When you're talking to callers, you don't have to be so abracive with them. In what way? We need to respect the listeners?

In what way? Was I bracing?

You just virtually doubted what the woman was telling you.

She tried to say she's got medical evans, that there's male menopause. There's no medical.

Are you a doctor, not exactly. So how can you stand there and say with hand on heart that she's wrong.

Because I've never heard of it. No one's ever heard of it. But you're not a doctor either, Okay, any doctor's out there. Is there such a thing as male menopause? Okay?

Anyway, well done? Can we move on?

Yes, this is your fault on mine.

It's not my fault. You made the declaration last week, my friend.

I stand by No. If you were taught how to do it, how hard could it be?

How hard can it be?

If you were taught how to do it, it wouldn't be hard.

And Darren World, unto you for the support that you shape.

Both you to thank you support. That's okay. I didn't want you to drown completely. I didn't drown on that's what you didn't. You didn't do anything. You didn't have your headset on.

Wait, before we move on, do you think he came out of that unscathed? Do you think that went well?

I'm fine, as I said to you from the start, and I said to leave him last week. I have no ambition in the panel, I have no ambition to be a host. That's but if you were taught how to do it. It wouldn't be that hard.

Like a life anything in life, you are taught how to do it. It's actually not that saying mister G is not talented and what he does? What's mister g.

Let me give you an example of talent, Darrel. That was just absolutely sensation. That is talent, beautiful stuff from the big man, very very very good.

Yeah, thank you man. You know what I did that all in like half an hour.

You know, it was amazing, really brilliant.

We've got the Saturday Footy Quiz Ladies and gentlemen one hundred and fifty dollars Low's Digital gift card to be one. I'm going to give you the three clues right now, because we've had a busy afternoon. Named the Queensland player who scored a double in the Morons victory in Perth. Who's the Queensland player who's scored a double in the Morons state of Origin victory in Perth? Which state is the Dolphins clash with the Knights being played in this afternoon? Which state is the Dolphins clash with the Knights being played in this afternoon? That's exactly where we played Origin on Wednesday night and name the captain of the Roosters. Name the captain of the Roosters. If you've got all three answers, you think they're right, you can give us a buzz right now. One three hundred seven double two eight seven three one three hundred seven double two eight seven three Back around the grounds, Penrith fourteen Warriors twelve eighteen to play in the second half fourteen twelve Penrith leading Warriors on the.

Way to the break.

We know Australia is a proud sporting nation and what about the team at Ampile. They're proud to power that sporting passion from Australia's greatest sporting rivalry state of origin to supporting our little league legends. Am Pole has your back for every single now biding moment. They help get you to local grounds where dreams are born, into the country's biggest stadiums so you can enjoy those once in the lifetime experiences, whether you're cheering on the sidelines or shouting from your living room. Ampol is on your team and has your back on and off the field. Am Pole proudly powering our sporting nation and Pole Australia's own Panthers and again here eighteen points to twelve for the kicker, come eighteen twelve Penrith leading Warriors fifteen minutes to play in the second half, Mark Levy, Paul Gallon, Darryl Broman and Alana Ferguson just on the the gal hosting for nine minutes. Levy, I think it's only fair you should jump into his world. And that means three three minute rounds of boxing.

Know Michael, that way that sharp against me, No, that's it wouldn't happen. Ferger, you belt me, you bashed.

Me, made, I'd bloody your ear off. Hard to win. I do absolutely anything.

For a win, right, Oh, Tommy rodoniicue.

All right, let's talk NRLW and state of origin because the under nineteens women's origin match was played the other night and from all reports, fer Go, you can tell me a bit more about our next guest, Casey Ray.

We were just talking off air. There's no doubt she's got a big future.

I mean, she captained the under nineteen, she's scored a try and they're from the forty seventh minute of their twenty six points to ten win.

You think she's destined for bigger and better things.

I do.

I think she'll be wearing the number seven State of Origin Jersey in the next maybe two or three years.

I'd love to see her pair up.

With Jesse Southwell, Jesse Southwell playing the six. But yeah, I think she's an absolute weapon. She's got a bit of footy in her jeens, that's for sure, but just a very natural footballer. She looks very calm and composed for her age, and yeah, I love watching her play.

I think she's a gun.

Well, she's on the line of this. Now get a Casey. Hi, are you very well? Thank you? Congratulations big win, try captain? Good night for you?

Ah yeah, it was pretty good night.

Who was thank you?

Can you tell me I like fellow Bagan bloody? Unreal?

So there you describe yourself, Casey?

Oh yeah, well I wouldn't be surprised obviously describeing like that, yea.

Well, before the team jumps in and ask you some footy questions, what did it mean to you to captain the New South Wales?

Tim?

I'm sure you grew up watching plenty of footy, you love watching State of Origin and now to have an under nineteens women's origin team that you captain sixteen point went on the Sunshine Coast the other night.

We had to make you feel.

Yeah, it was unreal. There was obviously a privilege to play and captain them girls, but honestly, my job was pretty easy out there just because all the rest of the girls around, you know, they're all they make my job so easy because they were playing so well, and they were playing with a lot of efforts, so they're really easy. Started captain and everyone was getting around a getting around each other really well, and we just got along really well. And I think that showed out there on the field.

Well.

The NRLW, I think starts in two weeks is a two weeks time. Are you part of your out of the Dragons at r LW side, Yeah, that's right.

Yeah, And I know.

Biggie's involved with them. What's he doing nothing?

No, I think he's been good. Well, I think he's still a bit in his show at the moment, Bud. I know he's going to come out of his shell pretty soon.

So basically he's doing nothing you were saying.

No, So he's been so good.

He's been helping us out there, so he's been doing a bit of work with our kickers and stuff just around you know, kick selession and what sort of kicks we should be doing here, and then just helping us with our technique without kicking and stuff. So yeah, he's been really good to be around the girls.

It is it like you're on a young lady. Is it difficult for you to be in that side and like guiding them around the field. I would imagine you'd have to shout out a few orders and things like that. Is that is that something you find difficult or is that just a natural thing for you?

I think at times it can definitely be might be overwhelming and stuff. But with a group of girls I had that obviously, I'm playing alongside racing and she's just she's got a whole nother lot of knowledge that you know. I'm just really trying to learn off and just try and be a sponge of her, and she's been really well for me. I think she's been really good for me, just trying to learn a bit more about the game and how to direct people a bit more clearer and stuff. But I think, yeah, like that sort of holding my calmness and stuff. I'm trying to learn a bit of racing in that manner. But We've got a lot of girls around me, and you know, they learn, they just do their job and that makes my job so much easier. So yeah, I love playing with them girls.

I think that was really obvious.

Casey in the game on Thursday night, how composed you look, and you spoke about Piggy helping you with your kicking game. Your kicking game was outstanding and help decide so much. I want to ask you a little bit more of a personal question. I know Brett and Glenn Stewart are your uncles, but your dad Buster, he's been a bit of a legend at the West Leagues Club down the coast for a very long time. What does he think of the footy that you're playing at the moment. I know you didn't learn everything of him.

Because I've watched him play a few games of footy and you are luck better.

Yeah, my dad's obviously he's helped me a lot because when I was learning to play, he definitely he was probably he didn't want me to play at the start, and then when you're bug him long enough, he let me and he knew that was someone I really wanted to pursue, and so you know, he jumped on board, and I do a lot of the knowledge that I know off from him just because we do, obitly footy family and we do speak about footy a lot, so I think just him he obviously he does do a bit of review of my games and stuff and let me know what he thinks. But you know, he's always letting me know there's always going to be stuff to work on. And yeah, just he keeps me grounded a lot and just keeps helping me with my game, and I really appreciate what he does.

Fantastic Well Caz, you lovely to catch up.

Congratulations on the win and Viergo has given you a big rap in here as well, so maybe success continue for you when we look forward to seeing you developers, not only a footballer.

But as a young woman.

So congratulations and maybe the future bring all the success and well raps that you've been getting along the way, so may continue.

Thanks for your time, Thank you appreciate thanks for having me well.

Casey Ray the captain of the under nineteen New South Wales women's team off the back of their twenty six ten victory over Queensland twenty points to twelve. Penrith leading the Warriors This has been pretty edgy seat stuff here. You've been up and down right.

Well, the Warriors just a moment ago had an opportunity to score on the corner of two on one and we are knocked it up and interceptor. They ran downfield and they scored about two or three tackles later they put them in front twenty points to twelve. So missed opportunity by the Warriors in this panthersy autter. A bunch of kids, basically a lot of there are all their stars. I'm playing as we know, and they're winning twenty points to twelve. At the moment they're looking they're looking like they're I can't say at home, but they're looking.

Pretty good all right.

So twenty points to twelve, Penrith leading the Warriors ten minutes to play in the second half. Now, Jen so I mentioned last week that Mitsubishi's on board. It's the end of the financial year sale time at Tynan Bitsubishi Kiralle, and it's your time to see the Tynan team. With up to three thousand dollars cash card offer on select models, you'll receive a three thousand dollars cash cart across zero Sports select Triton models or a two and a half thousand dollar cash card on Select the Outland of petrol models, all back by Mitsubishi's ten for ten. There's no time to wake These offers must end June thirty aeth Tin and Mitsubishi, Kirawi, Teas and ceas apply Tynan and Mitsubishi. They're on the Princess Highway. Kirawi or Tynan Mitsubishi dot com dot au twenty four points to twelve. Another try here to the the Penrith Panthers. I should say twenty four points to twelve, nine minutes remaining in the second half. That's where they kick the karma. We are the continuous call tame one three one eight seven three the number.

OMG.

I'm still laughing about Gay Love Saturday's thanks Aaul and Darryl's song You're rightly the absolute raw talent from Paul.

Thank you, Paul. I want Nicole in Tokyloon.

When Nicole and have a chat, we have spoken about life. Do you know what, There's a lot of people who in this modern day I just prefer to do it VI email. Yeah, well texts you can understand that. I can't understand it.

My mom, I'm disappointing you, to be honest, both, Actually, it's just like your job is to come here and contribute.

You didn't contribute.

They didn't give you nothing, nothing.

Absolutely do you imagine I sat here and gave you nothing?

Could you imagine what I would have said to you during the commercial?

Absolute rip shreds off me?

Absolutely?

So what do you do?

You wait to wear on it, but you just give me nothing. You've done nothing but supposed to be a team here.

You know what, I'll be honest, I'm going to give you a rap. There was glimpses there of somebody who could potentially host a shark. No ambition, but I'm just I know you don't want to, but I'm just saying the way you did spoke then was very well. There was no arming an r around.

And as I said, Marcus, when you get taught to do things like everything people people are so afraid to try something new because they don't understand it.

But once you understand something, it's actually not that hard. Why don't you do midnight to dorm with MYKEI? I have no ambition, I said, are you deaf?

I have no stop arguing. We're getting into the nearly the end of the game. Let's talk, let's talk, let's talk.

Can you concentrate on what we're doing. Let's let cricketing towards the back end, and we've got Rugby Lead.

To go hey and no, no, you're not hosting anymore. Back to me, big man, let's talk.

Come on, Hi, Daryl Browman here. Look, every time MG fakes the sign isn't on at five point thirty five, replace him and don't get paid for him. Give us a ring, but actually said an SMS or whatever you want to do for the time t GB with Clinton may not let's talk. I think let's talk to a wonderful motto for the station that's to come from nowhere.

I think, given G started, let's talk. Lucy's as you know, we should talk to right now, Mike Jefferys. No, let's talk to Nick Ashman from Poisbit.

Hello, Nick, good afternoon.

Yes, let's talk.

We can talk, Rubby Lead, we can talk what ever you want. We had the requining chair conversation last pot on the plane.

Oh yes, yeah, what did you think about that? What do you think about playing travel? Nick? What do I think about what plane travel? You know those things?

I don't.

I don't really like it because it's just become such a pain. And you know what's in COVID, it's delayed plight, canceled flights. I used to love it, but it's now become a bit more stressful.

Do you travel up the point? He end? Mate?

Of course he does.

Ah, I is my go is to book the cheapest flight, but then pay for the upfront seat. So yes, not quite as glamorous as you might think.

Okay, so you get the cheapest flight, but pay for them plenty of business on the upfront. Yeah, smart mate, smart?

You know what else?

You can hang back, you know, and have a drink and then you just run over and get you get your seats waiting for you.

Don't knock the exit row either.

I bought some extra leg room and I thought it was very, very comfortable to get the first So yeah, just a little something for the young players out there, Nick. Let's get into the footy. We start off with the game between the Dolphins and the Nights at five point thirty.

What are the punters doing on this one?

Great man Dolphins are the hard favorite. EFFIC would expect you in great forum.

What about their last three games? The points difference with their three victories one hundred and forty points, so they've delivered some runnings over the last three games. They're a dollar twenty seven. That night's at three dollars eighty. We set the line at eleven and a half. They're back the Dolphins. There total points forty seven and a half. They've taken the unders. If you're looking for some try scorers too, Saco. He hasn't scored in his last two matches against the Knights, but he scored six tries in his previous three games. He's a dolearty to crash over the staffnoon or tonight. I suppose the sam will be down by the time they kick off. And James, if you are a Nights fan, he's scored a double the last time they played against the Dolphins, and he's two dollars forty just to get a try.

Tonight, all right, just on that game.

The tea news has just popped through, Daryl and A you're a big into first. I think there's a first tonight and I'll get to it in just a moment. For the Dolphins racetone, starting Mark Nichols to the bench. Josh curs out, what about this for a name or blicks? Tafa comes onto the bench and jumping under twenty for his debut. I don't think we've ever had an all blicks in the NRLD.

I've never heard of ta.

T for Tafa, tr for.

My metallic? Is it t A U F A T A w h A Okay?

Yeah?

Do you think that's first name? Have you heard the first name?

No?

Never?

Do you think that might be made.

Up or blitch?

Or is it from like?

So it's what the world's like this.

I made one of my right what was your kid's name?

Well, our middle son we called him Zave, but just spelled A Z A V A And my husband I tried to make up another name for the third one, and he told me.

To pull my head in.

What was it?

Can we t Can you tell me.

If it was? A enjoyed this conversation, k.

Y K I Z case. I think it's cool. And he just started looking around, going, oh, why don't we just call it gutter? Why don't we call it tree?

Then we call it scar with some friends and one of their kids called their grandson Hercules. What do you think of Hercules? From Hercules? Don't you think you with us? Calls King, there's a Hercules.

Yeah, talking to his father on the plane that it was Hercules. Imagine playing his first game of football.

We're going to be cute until I turned twelve? What changes then?

Oh?

I just think most twelve to turning quarters. That kids a cute kids a twelve year olds, Well they studied puby years, you know what I mean getting his first How old your daughter?

Come back to the footy? Melbourne Storm and South tonight neck one of the prices on this one.

Yeah, twenty five for the Storm four South. I mean, it's amazing to think that Storm won eighty four percent of the games between these two clubs since they came into the NL competition in the late nineties. We set the line at twelve and a half. Nothing really there, total points forty eight and a half the back the Unders. So they obviously think the Storm can keep the Bunnies to a fairly low score. If you're looking for a couple of trice or is happy Evan tries in his last five games against the Bunnies. He's a dollar sixty five to get one tonight, and if you are a bunny, stand oi to spare. Alex Johnson has scored two doubles in his last three games against the Storm. You can get five bucks on him to get a double tonight.

What are your kids' names?

Nick, Harry and Earie. My wife is Iranian. She's Persian and her parents are pushing a little bit for a Persian name or an Iranian name. Shaney looked at me a few days ago and said, thank god, we.

Didn't do that.

For you for reasons. Thank you very much, Nick. We'll catch up tomorrow.

There you guys.
