Melbourne forward Bronson Garlick has reflected on his rugby league journey which led to his NRL debut earlier this season.
After spending time at the Rabbitohs and the Bulldogs, Garlick was recruited by the Storm where he was handed his start.
"I went to Melbourne not expecting much," Garlick said.
"I just wanted to be part of the setup, but I was lucky to claim that utility role and being given the chance to make my debut in Round 1 of this season was pretty special".
His father, and Rabbitohs great Sean, then called in to reveal how nervous it was been watching his son in the NRL telling The Continuous Call Team "when you've got sons playing football, it's a totally different feel.
"I've never felt so nervous watching a football game, I was never this nervous myself as a player, but when your young bloke gets on, it's like you're living every tackle and every run."
