Colin is joined by John Middlekauff, host of “3 and Out” on the Volume.

They start with Broncos thrilling come from behind win over the Chiefs and highlight the deficiencies in both Bo Nix and the Chiefs pass catchers (2:30). They react to the Cowboys blowing a late lead to the Gardner Minshew led Cardinals and debate whether the Cowboys should become sellers before the trade deadline (9:00).

They highlight Lamar Jackson constantly being injured and argue that the Ravens season is officially over and it might be time to move on from the former MVP (14:45). Colin proposes that the Vikings should try to trade for Kirk Cousins to replace Kyler Murray after suffering their first loss to the Lions (27:45), and that the Chargers should begin a firesale after starting 0-7 following their loss to the Rams(33:30).

Colin lauds Mike McCarthy for having the Steelers in first place with extremely limited options on offense for Aaron Rodgers (39:00), and believes Aaron Glenn’s time with the Jets is coming to an end after losing to the Raiders (49:00). They heap praise on Drake Maye for putting the Pats on his back in their win over the Dolphins (54:30).

Finally, they move to college football and start with USC upsetting Ohio State and agree that Lincoln Riley’s prepared statement was cringe (58:00) and that Indiana looks vulnerable after barely beating Minnesota (1:05:00)
