View descriptionShare

The 187th Annual General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints wrapped up with talks from a number of LDS authorities, including Elder D. Todd Christofferson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, who spoke about "The Voice of Warning" and how Mormons are called to share warnings with love. Elder Joaquin E. Costa of the Seventy spoke about his own baptism and faith journey. Elder S. Mark Palmer of the Seventy described the challenges he faced as a mission president in the Spokane area in helping missionaries who struggled with the rules they live under. Elder Gary E. Stevenson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles talked about the attributes of the Holy Ghost, in a message called "How Can the Holy Ghost Help You?" Elder C. Scott Grow of the Seventy aimed his remarks directly at young members of the LDS Church. Elder Benjamin De Hoyos  of the Seventy held up the Book of Mormon and the church itself as "ensigns" or standards for the nations to gather around. Finally, Elder Quentin L. Cook of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles spoke about the foundations of faith.
