The Christian Outlook – April 14, 2018

Don Kroah turns to Cliff May of the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies for his analysis of the recent chemical attack in Syria by the al-Assad regime.  With mid-term elections on the horizon and a number of Republicans in both the House and Senate leaving, including Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, Kevin McCullough sits down with Kimberly Strassel of the Wall Street Journal to look at the possible ramifications. Facebook and it’s CED, Mark Zuckerberg, are under fire for how the social media giant sells or makes use of the data of their estimated 2.2 billion users and Karol Markowicz of the New York Post and Kevin McCullough examine issue. While some feel the future of Christianity looks dim, author Brian Stiller and Georgene Rice talk about how it’s only moved to Timbuktu as they discuss his new book, “From Jerusalem to Timbuktu: A World Tour of the Spread of Christianity.” Eric Metaxas and biographer Greg Thornbury travel back to the late 1960’s and early 1970’s  to look at the life of Larry Norman, widely recognized as a pioneer of Christian rock and roll. And while they are there, they also examine the Jesus Movement and the messy and undeniable work of the Spirit in the lives of many within that subculture.
