Congress has expressed a desire to raise the minimum wage rate to $20. Not because they feel as though those who make minimum wage have earned it, but just because they want them to. What?!? Does anyone realized, and even remember, minimum wage jobs are just meant for teenagers, not full-grown adults?!? Shouldn't we also take into consideration the financial repercussions this could have on our society if the rate is raised?
