Join us on Wednesday morning as we welcome civil rights activist the Rev. Dr. William Barber to our classroom. Rev. Barber will passionately encourage us to embrace a spirit of unity, asserting that bending to Trump is simply not an option. Before his compelling address, constitutional and criminal defense attorney Dwight Pettit will delve into the implications of Trump's tariff threats and shed light on why some Supreme Court justices have reluctantly sided with him. Baltimore lawyer Tonya Bana will share her fierce fight for workplace equality and civil rights, inspiring us all to advocate for change. Additionally, Morgan State University professor Dr. Edward Robinson will also explore how Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) can effectively compete with Predominantly White Institutions (PWIs) in the race for elite Black athletes.
