On this episode we have James Range Band, first performing 4 songs in the CAAMA Music Studio and then live at Bush Bands Bash 2024.

James Range Band are named after the picturesque mountain range surrounding their community. They are the next generation of rich talent to come out of the Northern Territory.

They come from the Pitjantjatjara community of Utju and are creating music that makes you stop, feel the beat and listen to their stories. The band is made up of family members who have musical talent running strong in their blood.

On this episode we have PJ Reggae Band here in the CAAMA Music Studio to play us some songs.

PJ Reggae Band is an eight-piece reggae band hailing from Ti Tree, about 200km from Alice Springs. They write and perform smooth reggae rhythms and uplifting songs about country and relationships with lyrics in Warlpiri, Anmatjere and English.   

They started playing remote community shows and made their festival debut at Desert Harmony Festival. And were selected for the prestigious Bush Bands Bash and Business Summit. it is a strong indicator of the band’s potential.
