The state of Georgia and Rivian are expected to officially sign the papers next week on the economic deal to bring the electric truck maker’s $5 billion factory to a site just east of Atlanta. Covid-19 infections continue to tick upward in the state; violent crime in Atlanta often happens in the early morning hours and the city is beginning to offer resources and training to businesses that stay open late; and an annual arts event is back at historic Oakland Cemetery after a pandemic hiatus.
