He opens by urging listeners to stay safe as melting ice is expected to refreeze, making conditions even more dangerous. From there, he shifts to what he calls the “nitty gritty,” focusing on escalating violence tied to protests in Minnesota, including reported fatalities and armed confrontations in the streets. Brett stresses that he takes no pleasure in any loss of life and condemns violence regardless of where it occurs

Later Brett ramps up the intensity by shifting from weather warnings to a sharp critique of Democratic leadership on border security and public safety. He opens the hour cautioning listeners about dangerously cold conditions and remote learning announcements, urging patience and caution. The focus then turns to Senator Adam Schiff’s declaration that he will not fund ICE or Border Patrol, even if it leads to a government shutdown.
