View descriptionShare

Tune in here to this Wednesday edition of the Brett Winterble Show!

Brett kicks off the program with Representative Elise Stefanik joining the show to discuss a range of political topics, such as the importance of remembering the September 11 attacks and emphasizing the need for educating younger generations about the events and their impact on national security.

The discussion then shifts to Tuesday nights debate with President Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris. Stefanik criticizes the debate moderators, suggesting they were biased in favor of Harris, making the debate seem like a "three-on-one" against Trump. She highlights key issues like border security, inflation, and national security, arguing that Vice President Harris has played a significant role in current crises and that her policies, along with President Biden's, have been ineffective.

Coach Matt Dortehy joins us to give his brief insights on Tuesday night's Debate and also Delves into the importance of the remembrance of September 11th

We were also joined by actor Phoenix Ferris from Liberty Mountain Drama to talk about his involvement in "Liberty Mountain, the Revolutionary Drama," a live theater production that tells the story of the Battle of Kings Mountain, a crucial event in the American Revolution. Ferris shares his journey with the play, starting from its beginnings in 2014 as an audience member to becoming an actor in 2018 when he was 12 years old. He describes his role as Caleb Martin, a character representing a typical family of immigrants from Ireland, England, or Scotland. He discusses the challenge of reprising the same role while keeping it engaging for both himself and the audience.

Mark Lotter also joins us to discuss the recent political debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, focusing on its implications for the upcoming election and the state of the country. Lotter, a representative from the America First Policy Institute, argues that the debate did not change the minds of the already committed supporters of Trump or Harris but failed to sway undecided voters toward Harris. He emphasizes that these undecided voters are looking for clear solutions to issues like inflation, border security, and foreign policy rather than general slogans.

Bo Thompson from Good Morning BT is also here for this Wednesday's episode of Crossing the Streams. Brett and Bo discuss Tuesday night's debate recap and the disappointment from both parties. Bo also shares what he and Beth have coming up Thursday on Good Morning BT!
