Tune in here to this Friday edition of the Brett Winterble Show!
Brett kicks off the program with Pete Kaliner for the latest edition of The Hangover. The conversation begins with a discussion of the economy, Democratic electoral victories and the possibility of Stephen Miller becoming White House chief of staff. The two then discuss the alleged “Democracy Files,” associated with the United Democracy Alliance, which reportedly outline plans to provoke unrest and create a constitutional crisis through the invocation of the Insurrection Act. They argue that Secretary of War Pete Hegseth is a critical figure in this alleged scenario.
Later, Brett discusses reports that Iran has sent a nuclear proposal to the United States through Qatar. He notes that the proposal reportedly demands that Washington unconditionally accept seven conditions before negotiations can proceed and the Strait of Hormuz can reopen. Brett criticizes the proposal as one-sided, arguing that Iran expects major concessions without agreeing to reciprocal obligations.
