From the eradication of slavery to Nazi and Communist movements in the early to mid-20th century, all the way to today with all that we are going through as a country. America's founding documents acknowledged that we are imperfect as humans, and therefore as a country, which is why our founding fathers made it possible for our governing principles to be amended in order for the country to progress alongside society.
