Chad kicks off the program by talking about potential record low temperatures tonight, and he asks why the climate activists do not make a big deal about record low temperatures the same way they raise the alarm for record highs. 

 Chad also reflects on the first 248 years of America, our progress and evolution from the early days of our country to today. From the eradication of slavery to Nazi and Communist movements in the early to mid-20th century, all the way to today with all that we are going through as a country. America's founding documents acknowledged that we are imperfect as humans, and therefore as a country, which is why our founding fathers made it possible for our governing principles to be amended in order for the country to progress alongside society.
