Tune in here to this Wednesday's edition of the Brett Winterble Show!
Brett kicks off the program by talking about controversial policies in California and growing concerns surrounding public health scares and government accountability. He sharply criticizes California Governor Gavin Newsom over reports involving rehabilitation efforts for sex offenders inside the prison system, arguing the policies reflect misplaced priorities and failed leadership.
We’re joined by Carson Luger from St. Philip Neri Catholic Church to talk about the 29th Annual St. Philip Neri Italian Festival and all the food, fellowship, and family fun set to kick off tomorrow in Fort Mill.
Carson shares details about the festival’s packed lineup, including live entertainment, wine and craft beer tastings, artisan vendors, a kids fun zone, the “Holy Macaroni” Cornhole Tournament, and the popular Cannoli Run 5K. Of course, the heart of the festival remains the incredible Italian food — from giant meatballs and Italian sausage to lasagna, garlic knots, pizza, and the crowd-favorite eggplant parmesan that sells out fast every year. The festival begins Thursday at 4 p.m. and runs through the weekend, bringing the community together for great food, music, laughter, and celebration.
