In the fourth and final hour of New Day with SSJ, we are joined by Jesse Newell of the Athletic. SSJ and Jesse start by talking about the struggling royals, who are in the midst of yet another downward spiral early this season. SSJ, Jesse, and Jake then shift towards Rashee Rice and his time in jail after having a knee cleanup procedure. Jesse and Jake go back and forth on the recovery aspect of the knee cleanup that Rice will miss by serving his 30 days right after the procedure, also a discussion on any pending suspension given the latest on Rashee Rice. SSJ, Jesse, and Jake talk about veteran wide outs the Chiefs may target.

SSJ and the boys talk about possible veteran options for the Chiefs to add at receiver, and the opportunity for the young receivers to step up over the summer and develop quicker given they will get more reps.
