Then the guys talk to Boxing and MMA expert Kevin Iole from KevinIole.com about the huge fight this weekend between Canelo Alvarez vs Jaime Munguia.  Kevin gives his picks for this fight.

The Border Patrol rolls into the 3rd hour kicking off a new segment getting the weekend weather forecast from KSHB 41's Jeff Penner.  Next for the first time on Kansas City airwaves the guys talk to new Missouri Athletics Director Laird Veatch.  Laird shares with the guys what it has been like coming back to Columbia, MO to take over Mizzou Athletics and the direction he wants to continue to carry the department in and his plans for the future.  Then former MLB Catcher Mike Macfarlane joins the show for his weekly segment.  Mike gives his thoughts on the Royals starting rotation and their success and how they have had such a quick turnaround after last seasons massive struggles on the pitching staff.  He also previews the Royals next hone stand starting with the defending champions Rangers coming in town over the weekend.
