In the fourth and final hour of New Day hosted by Nate Bukaty, we are joined by Jesse Newell of the Athletic. Nate and Jesse begin discussing Bill Self’s announcement that he will continue coaching at KU. Nate and Jesse continue talking Jayhawks basketball by talking last season, as well as a look towards next season. Next Nate and Jesse get into the recovery of Patrick Mahomes, and how realistic the goal of starting week 1 is. Jesse gives a little information on Xavier Worthy’s season, and a glimpse as to how the Chiefs had planned on using him, versus how they were able to use him.
