Steven and Todd begin the last hour of the show talking to Chiefs Hall of Famer Bill Maas about the loss yesterday to the Chargers that knocked the Chiefs out of the playoffs.  They discuss the massive loss of Patrick Mahomes for the foreseeable future to an ACL tear and how that might affect 2026.  They also talk about what they would like to see from the rest of this season and going into this off season.

In the third hour of New Day SSJ is joined in studio by former MLB pitcher, college quarterback, and Liberty native Scott Carroll.  Scott is in studio to talk about the Chiefs and their loss to the Chargers that knocked KC out of the playoffs but they discuss the biggest news of Patrick Mahomes leaving the game with an injury that ended up being a torn ACL.   Todd, and Scott continue with some of their frustrations following this season thus far what they'd like to see the rest of the year and in this off season. The guys continue the hour by talking about the Royals trade that was made over the weekend and also the contract extension of Miakel Garcia.
