In the fourth and final hour of New Day hosted by Nate Bukaty, we are joined by Jesse Newell of the Athletic. Nate and Jesse begin discussing Bill Self’s announcement that he will continue coaching at KU. Nate and Jesse continue talking Jayhawks basketball by talking last season, as well as a look towards next season. Next Nate and Jesse get into the recovery of Patrick Mahomes, and how realistic the goal of starting week 1 is. Jesse gives a little information on Xavier Worthy’s season, and a glimpse as to how the Chiefs had planned on using him, versus how they were able to use him. Jesse has some Breaking News, as the Chiefs add a player.

They also discuss the Royals and the success of their starters through the first 5 games this season, Nate and Buster also talk about the early production of the newly formed outfield production, and their Bullpen.
