Casey Williams from The Presbyterian Pace Academy joins the Morning Show to share a her experiences as an educator in a very unique situation. The Presbyterian Pace Academy is a program at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque that provides bedside tutoring and educational support to pediatric patients with chronic illnesses or those undergoing treatment for conditions like cancer. The academy aims to bridge the gap between healthcare and education by helping these children keep up with schoolwork and ease their transition back into a traditional classroom setting after hospitalization. The program is supported by the Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation through the Kathie Winograd Educational Excellence Fund.
