Over more than a decade, Mitch has established himself as one of the most respected AFL journalists, winning the Clinton Grybas Rising Star Award at the 2014 Australian Football Media Awards, and also winning the 2019 Best Feature Writer Award at the AFMAs.

After working for the Geelong Advertiser, Crocmedia and the AFL's media arm, Mitch moved across to Seven in 2021 to spearhead the network’s footy news.
