The Israelites' make a covenant with God, promising to follow His law and observe His commands, ordinances, and statutes. 
Three specific promises made - not giving their daughters in marriage to foreigners, foregoing the seventh year crops and debts, and not purchasing goods on the Sabbath day.
The Israelites begin to move into overcompensation for the sins of their forefathers, especially as we journey to the New Testament.

Jenn shares personal experiences and biblical examples to illustrate how gossip can be detrimental to the church.
Judgement is not about calling out sin, but rather speaking against others to manipulate or destroy their reputation. 
The difference between judging and discerning - examples from James 4:11-12, Romans 14, and 1 Corinthians 5. 
As Christians, we're not to abandon the church, but follow the law of love and encourage a thriving, God-honoring church.
Jenn encourages listeners to be mindful of their words and actions, and to take the time to get both sides of the story in order to discern the truth.
