Trying to go for the record is not a straight forward path as the Giants will load the box. You will have to play the entire offensive line. The risk is not worth the reward even though the reward is a place in immortality.

 NFL Picks from Connor, Sylvana and Sean for the last regular season week of games. 

Connor states that Eagles fans have rich people problems as they are vying for an NFL record to be broken and their favorite team is also vying for a Super Bowl Championship.

Sylvana and producer Sean Rodman chose a side in the upcoming battle of Notre Dame vs Penn State. Meanwhile Connor is going to try and stir the pot between both fan bases.

We thought that most fans would want to rest the starters, but the city wants Saquon to go for the record.  Rest is important at this time of the year, so Nick Sirianni made the right decision. Now rust is a small fear, but this team can overcome rust.

Players that win an individual award is great for the player and some fans, but the main goal is a championship. A Super Bowl victory will be forever remembered as records will forgotten over time.

Connor Thomas and Sylvana Kelleher are hosting today and discussing the Eagles resting their starters vs the New York Giants. Sylvana and Connor are in favor of resting the starters as the main goal is to win the Super Bowl and not to break records. The offensive line is beaten and bruised; you can tell that the guys need to get of their feet.

Does it put more pressure on the Eagles to win the Super Bowl since they decided to rest Saquon Barkley?

The Twitter poll is revealed in this segment of the show.

Do fans have a specific rooting interest with whom the Eagles will face during Wild Card Weekend? They’ll either face the Green Bay Packers or the Washington Commanders. Sylvanna and Connor would prefer to face the Commanders as they both believe that if Jalen Hurts was not injured the Eagles would have swept them.

We play John Clark audio from NBC Sports Philadelphia, and he states that he would be more concerned about playing Washington rather than Green Bay.

The decision has been made to rest the starters and that means normal backups will receive more playing time vs the Giants. With the Eagles having a good number of players on expiring contracts it will be interesting to see who could be potential replacements for next season.
