Imagine walking on foot to the National Eucharistic Congress!

Zoe Dungas shared her anticipation for the National Eucharistic Congress and her role as a pilgrim. This significant event in the Church, marked as the first of its kind in 83 years, is set to draw thousands of faithful to Indianapolis this July.

Zoe, a vibrant Filipino American actor and dedicated young Catholic professional in New York, described how her adventurous spirit and deep faith converged to inspire her participation in this extraordinary pilgrimage. The journey represents not just a physical trek but a profound spiritual quest to bring our Eucharistic Lord across America, echoing the historical walk of the disciples to Emmaus.

Walking on the Seton Route, Zoe and her fellow pilgrims will travel from Connecticut through several states, engaging with communities and experiencing the diverse expressions of Eucharistic devotion. Each day promises a robust 10 to 15 miles of walking, starting with Mass and unfolding into Eucharistic processions, encapsulating the essence of faith in motion.

This pilgrimage is a call to all believers to join in various capacities, whether for a day or more. The culmination in Indianapolis, expected to host 80,000 Catholics, is anticipated to be a monumental gathering of faith, fellowship, and renewal.

Zoe shares how Eucharistic adoration has profoundly impacted her life, fostering healing and a deeper connection with God. Her journey is not just a path walked, but a mission lived, driven by the conviction that the Lord’s presence in the Eucharist guides and sustains her every step.

So, whether you're a seasoned pilgrim or a curious onlooker, Zoe's journey invites us all to explore our faith more deeply and consider how we might physically or spiritually join this historic pilgrimage. As the event approaches, the excitement builds for what is sure to be a transformative experience for many.
