How long has it been since your last confession? Maybe you're holding shame inside of you for a particular sin, but you don't have to be weighed down by it anymore! God wants to free you!



Patrick Conley and Fr. John LoCoco look at what makes a good confession, and it’s not just about feeling sorry!  Fr. John talks about how a good confession is about perfect contrition: saying sorry because you love God, not just because you're guilty or embarrassed.



Fr. John clears up the myth that confessions are all the same. No! Some are better than others, depending on our hearts and honesty. One of the biggest things? Recognizing our sin without fear, like Peter who, after encountering Jesus, said, “Depart from me, Lord, for I am a sinful man!”
