Makeup Artist Allee Gushwa Gives us a Met Gala Recap! 

Janet Hines-Gunn is performing with Oaklawn's Got Talent and will be using her talent of singing to stage of the Lerner Theater! 

Oaklawn’s Got Talent is a one-of-a-kind fundraiser that supports local mental health and addiction treatment. Finalists compete in a live show and the community votes to choose who wins. Not only is this an opportunity to support and celebrate local talent, it also honors the role the arts play in mental wellness.

New this year, anyone and everyone can vote for their favorite finalist! From now until the end of intermission on the day of the show, May 15, cast a vote for $5 each. This year’s proceeds will benefit Oaklawn’s crisis services – ensuring everyone in our community gets the help they need, when they need it.

Oaklawn's Got Talent Contestant: Janet

This week was a lot of fun starting with a recap of the 63rd annual Pancake Daywith the Salvation Army in Goshen! Erica said: "It's the family. There are so many people I've known my whole life. It feels like home this is our second home."

We announced that the Brothers Osborne will be at the Blue Gate on 8/26/26 and Karen was the first person in Michiana to win her way there!

Craig Gibson with Premier Arts shared all the nICE details on the Frozen show coming to the Lerner, and we may have had too much fun with a sing-a-long...

Deb celebrated her birthday this week and while we reminisced on a past birthday celebration, Reed was NOT willing to recreate that magic.

Thank you to Becky and Torrence with Oaklawn's Got Talent came in to share details on the big show on May 16th!  

We had a lot of fun this week giving away Boots on The Bend passes which will be the most epic music festival August 15th & 16th!

Two local South Bend Firefighters have gone small town viral with one small gesture of patriotism, and Cody and Bryan tell us what it means to respect our great Nation's flag!
