We're going to start with some very big news, and that is that Donald Trump is going to try to clean up the mess that was left behind by Joe Biden when it came to Iran. Donald Trump administration we're now being told as seeking full dismantlement of Iran's nuclear program.
That is obviously a huge deal.
National Security Advisor Mike walt sang on Sunday on CBS's Face the Nation, the President Donald Trump was working towards full dismantlement of Iran's nuclear program.
Here is part of that conversation.
To cover on the home front. But we begin first on national security. In just a few hours, US officials will be holding talks with Ukraine and tomorrow a separate round with Russia in pursuit of a thirty day ceasefire. In the meantime, the Trump administration is ramping up the US military presence in the Middle East, sending a second aircraft carrier to the region. We begin this morning with White House National Security Advisor Mike Waltz.
Good to have you here, thanks, Margaret.
So, the Iran Backhothi's they continue.
To fire at Israel.
What is the last week of bombing achieved and if you're holding Iran responsible, what's next.
Well, we've taken out Keyhothy leadership, including their head missileer. We've hit their headquarters, We've hit communications nodes, weapons factories, and even some of their over the water drone production facilities. Just in the last couple of days, President Trump has decided to hit the Houthis and hit them hard, as opposed to in the last administration, where literally weeks or months would go by with these kind of one off, pin prick attacks. And as a result, we've had one of the world's most critical sea lanes get shut down. I mean, these guys are like al Qaeda or Isis with advanced cruise missile, ballistic missiles, and some of the most sophisticated air defenses, all provided by Iran or Just to so everybody understands the impact here, the last time one of our destroyers went through the Straits there it was attacked twenty three times. Seventy five percent of our US flag shipping now has to go around the southern coast of Africa rather than going through the Suez Canal. And keeping the sea lanes open, keeping trade and commerce open is a fundamental aspect of our national security. The last administration was not effective. The Trump administration and President Trump have decided to do something much harder, much tougher, and much and what we'll see but I think will be much more effective.
So the President is that he's going to hold Iran responsible as well. Envoy Steve Whitkoff said in an interview that Iran had responded to this US outreach.
Via multiple channels.
In regard to a letter sent by the President, Witkoff described it as an offer to a to create a verification program so nobody worries about weaponization of nuclear material. Can you clarify, is the US seeking the dismantlement of Iran's nuclear program or verification like what President Obama put in place back in twenty fifteen and President Trump pulled out.
Of full dismantlement.
Iran has to give up its program in a way that the entire world can see.
And this is look.
As president as President Trump has said, this is coming to a head. All options are on the table, and it is time for Iran to walk away completely from its desire to have a nuclear nuclear weapon. That and they will not and cannot be allowed to have a nuclear weapons program. That's enriched to the president, that is weaponization and that it's its strategic missile program. Can you only imagine we've seen the death and destruction that they're doing through its proxies between Hesbalah, the Asad regime, the who these and what have you. If they had nuclear weapons, the entire Middle East would explode in an arms race that is completely unacceptable to our national security. I won't get into what the back and forth has been, but Iran is in the worst place it has been from its own national security since nineteen seventy nine thanks to Hesblah Hamas, the Assad regime and its own air defenses being taken out by the Israelis.
So there's still a chance for diplomacy. Well, of course Iban.
The President has all options on the table, but we want to be clear. This isn't some kind of, you know, kind of tip for tat that we had under the Obama administration or Biden. This is the full program. Give it up or there will be consequences.
Give it up or there will be consequences.
It's very clear that the Trump administration is not willing to negotiate at all with Iran on the issue of nuclear weapons and the reason why is clearly stated. Full this mana minute, and Ran has to give up its program in a way that the entire world can see.
And this is what it's going to be.
We are not going to trust them with any type of nuclear program. Now you listen to how this president has made it clear to the world that this is unacceptable what has happened with Iran, and that we're not going to do this.
We're not going to allow it. And as they described it, RAN's in the.
Quote worst place it's been from its own national security standpoint since nineteen seventy nine thanks to hesbla Hamas and the Asad regime and its own air defense being taken out by the Israelis. Now you notice there that there was one key thing that was said by the anchor there, Brennan. She said, so there's still a chance for diplomacy, question mark, I know you won't get into okay, And what was the response, Well, of course, I mean the president has all options on.
The table, and we want to be clear.
This isn't some kind of you know, kind of tit for tat that we had under the Obama.
Administration or Biden.
This is the full program, give it up or there will be consequences. After more than a year of war, tear and pain in Israel, the need for security essentials and support for first responders is still critical. Even in times of ceasefire. Israel must be prepared for the next attack, wherever it may come from. As Israel is surrounded by enemies on all sides. That is where the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews and you come in.
They are the ones.
That help give the support that is needed and the people of Israel need now more than ever before, life saving security essentials, and your gift today will help save lives by providing bomb shelters, armored security vehicles and ambulances, firefighting equipment, flat jackets and bullet proof vests, and so much more. Your generous donation today will help ensure the people of Israel are safe and secure in the days to come. So give a gift to bless Israel and her people by visiting support I s FCJ dot org. That's one word support IFCJ dot org or call eight a eight four eight eight IFCJ that's eight eight eight four eight eight IFCJ eight A eight four eight eight four three two five or support IFCJ dot org. Now the question is what a consequences look like. Well, obviously sanctions are part of the consequences, there's no doubt about that, and it's very clear the Presdent's going to use that disadvantage.
But it could also mean allowing for.
Israel to strike, because if there's anything we've learned, Israel right now does not want to allow Iran to get a nuclear weapon because they know that they would be more than likely target number one, and so there's a very good chance at what would end up happening. Is America would say to them, Hey, we understand what you have to do. We understand that you have to protect and defend yourself. We understand that you are their target. We understand all of that, and we're going to do everything we can rights in Iran.
And this makes a lot of sense.
We're going to do everything we can to make sure that you are able to defend yourself. That's what America would say to Israel when it comes to the Iran issue. I don't think anyone has a problem with that. That is sane, and having an Iran with a nuclear program would be suicide for peace in the Middle East. There is no doubt about it, because I do believe they would use those nuclear weapons. I believe they would use them, and they would go after not only Israel, but I think they would go over any other country that they wanted to mess with or that they hated. And that's the biggest problem with all of this. This also, I think goes back to one other aspect of what Donald Trump has made very clear, which is peace through strength. And if you look at what he has said, and you look at the way that he said it, he said, there are certain things in America.
We will not tolerate.
Rate.
One of those things is a nuclear program in Iran. They lie, You cannot trust them, You cannot believe them that they will for anything like when it comes to nuclear weapons, you cannot trust them. And they sponsor terras everywhere. We know that they sponsor terras everywhere in the Middle East. Hamas has blow. The list goes on and on. So that is the other part of this that I think is really really really important to understand that the President is saying, we are not going to let you get it because we know we know when you get it, right, like we know when you get it, the chances of you using it are extremely high.
Period.
While all this, by the way, is happening with Iran and the simple words coming out from the White House that we're going to stop Iran from getting a nuclear program and there will be consequences if they if they don't stop what they're doing. Right now, we also got even better, I think you could say information from the Director of National Intelligence Toulty Gabbard, who has come out also while this is happening and slash DEI and wasteless spending by tens of millions of dollars. The Director of National Intelligence Tolti Gabbard saved taxpayers tens of millions of dollars in wasteful diversity, equity and inclusion and other insane spending quote. President Donald Trump made it one of his first actions in zoo administration and radical and wasteful government di programs and.
Preferencing quote.
The Biden administration forced illegal and in moral discrimination programs going by the name diversity equity inclusion into virtually all aspects of the federal government in areas ranging from airlines.
Safe to the military.
Trump's executive orders declared all this on January the twentieth, naturally, the Director of National Intelligence, Toulsi Gabbard has moved to scratch and get rid of all of these controversial and discriminatory programs from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. So let me just tell you what she got rid of this week. She eliminated the DEI office and staff, saving twenty million. She scrapped unnecessary conferences, saving more than three million or more per year. She next unnecessary program licenses, saving one point four million a year. She removed redundant secure cloud contract saving one point one million a year. She ended unnecessary never ending training programs, saving three point four million per year.
She reduced overhead charges.
On all ODNI contracts, saving eight to twelve percent of all contract value use. On top of aggressively pursuing recent intelligence community leakers and revoking security clearances of Biden officials and signers of the infants Hunter Byen Laptop letter, Director Gabbart has already moved to save taxpayer dours millions of bucks, which was a promise.
Here's something else that's interesting.
This was first reported by Breitbart News in late February. The Gabbard saved twenty million by ordering her department just to eliminate the DEI programs. In addition to that order, Gabert also ordered the od and I staff to stop attending any and all conferences not central to the od and I mission or that do not have defined deliverables. Per the official, the second orders expect to save taxpayers another three.
Million a year.
Gabert also ordered a review to determine any OD and I personnel not working at the headquarters in DC, like staff base elsewhere throughout the country to determine if those people are serving the mission of protecting the safety and security of the American.
People what a novel idea quote.
If such personnel are determined to not fit that description, Gabbard, per a US official, will order those positions to be eliminated, a move that's expected to save taxpayers another million dollars a year at least.
Gabard also.
Just returned from her trip to the Indo Pacific, where she brought a nuanced understanding of the arena's crucial partnerships and complex challenges as she explores opportunities to advance President Trump's America First policy across the Indo Pacific.
They say this includes.
Meeting with senior National Security Agency the NSA officials in Hawaii, visiting top intelligence officials and diplomats in Japan and Thailand, and holding bilateral meetings with the Indian Prime Minister.
Quote.
President Trump remains unwavering and his commitment to achieving peace through a strategy root in realism and pragmatism. Securing peace through strength requires strong leadership and a clear eyed and realistic understanding of global challenges and opportunities, a commitment to fostering cultural and economic ties that reduce the likelihood of an escalation to conflict, and a dedication to reinforcing mutual interests. So what does this actually mean in translation, means the President is empowered gabber to slash the wastele spending while also making sure that we get back to the mission of what she does in her job, and part of it is going and talking to world leaders and finding common ground and commonplace where we can get along and expand and work together, which allows for there being a much less chance of there being some sort of international conflict. And so what the President's strategy is here is, Hey, let's go meet with people that we think there could be an issue, and let's find a common denominator, a common bond of understanding where instead of us not talking to one another, we actually work with one another. We sit down and try to find ways that we can communicate on some sort of program and or plan that makes sense for both so that we have a better chance of de escalating a situation instead of escalating it to having a point where we have another war.
Again. This is common sense. That's what it really is.
This is all about basic common sense by Tulsi, by the President of the United States of America and empowering his cabinet officials to do their jobs. And when you allow them to do their jobs in this way, which is clearly just mentioned, what ends up happening is you have a world that's a safer place. You have a world where the presents also made.
It very clear.
You have a world where the President said, look, don't get out of line, don't be a threat to the United States of America. Right Like, whatever you do, don't do that. Let's find ways in common ground, in places where we can work together. And when that happens, we're all in a much better place. While we may have won this election, the fight to restore our great nation is only beginning and now is the time to take a stand, and Patriot Mobile is leading the charge. It has never been easier to switch your cell phone than in twenty twenty five. With technology, you can do it literally over the phone with a code they send you. It is amazing. But here's the reason why I'm a I use Patriot Mobile now. One I save money over what I was paying before with Big Mobile, and two, I'm no longer supporting the radical left now. I didn't realize until someone told me just how radical Big Mobile had gotten. Where they are supporting organizations that pay for abortions or supporting radical democratic causes and organizations they're helping democrats get elect it at the local, state, and national level. That is actually why over a decade ago Patriot Mobile was started and they are now America's only Christian conservative wireless provider.
Now, let's talk about coverage.
In twenty twenty five, you have zero problems with coverage anymore because well, Patriot Mobile uses all three major networks.
What does that mean for you?
It means whatever coverage you're used to now you're going to stay exactly the same, or you may even be able to improve it, but it will not be any issues when it comes to coverage. In fact, they have a coverage guarantee. But when you pay your bill, this is where the magic happens. They take a portion of your bill every month and they give it back to organizations that support our first and our second amendments that support the sanctity of life, that support our veterans, our first responders, and are wounded warriors. And like I said, switching with technology now has never been easier. You keep your same phone you have now, keep your same phone number, and you can even upgrade to a new phone if you want to. They have a one hundred percent US based customer support team to help you find the perfect plan and to save money. And if you own a business or a small business, they have a division that just works on switching multiple lines over easily. So right now, go to Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson or call them nine to seven to two Patriot You're going to get a free month of service with the promo code ferguson. So switch the Patriot Mobile and make a difference with every call you make. Patriot Mobile dot com slash ferguson or nine to seven to two patriot.
Now, you would think that Democrats would be in favor of this. They're not.
They're furious, they're angry, they're upset. And why are they upset Because they've lost control of the deep state. A lot of these neocons, a lot of these lefties, they are truly obsessed with having us in endless wars for one main reason, because they make money off of it.
There's a lot of Republicans that do that too.
I want to be clear, but what the President has said is, look, I don't start wars.
I in them. I don't start them. I in them.
And so if you want to work in my administration and you want to be on the team with me, then you need to understand what we allow and what we do, and what we don't do, and what we don't allow. We're not going to have a bunch of neocons going out there warmongering, trying.
To start things.
We're here to in them, we're here to finish them, we're here to shut them down again. It's a brilliant, brilliant foreign policy. It's also an American first foreign policy, and that is incredibly important for the president of the United States of America. So you look at these two stories that we started with today, They're incredibly important and also, I would argue, incredibly successful because the President of the United States of America said, I'm going to lead by example. I'm going to bring in people like Tulsi. I'm going to empower them to do their job. I'm going to empower them to travel and meet with people, and I'm going to get them to have conversations instead of us talking through the media on the issue.
That could escalate to war.
Isn't it nice to know that common sense is back in the White House. Isn't it nice to know that we have a president that is sitting there truly trying to allow these things I accomplish these types of things.
Isn't that what we should all be so excited about? Now?
You look at what the presidents try to do in Iran, you look at what the president's doing with Tulsa Gabbard and stopping ways fraud and abuse, and then you've got something else the president's working really hard on right now, and what he's trying to do right now is also in the war between Russia and Ukraine.
Well, it looks.
Like Zelenski knows that if the war ends, he's out of a job. It's very clear that he is reading the tea leaves that way, where it's like as soon as there's an election, remember, because he's canceled all the elections. That's what dictators do. That's why Zelenski is a dictator. In my opinion. He has shut down the elections and he's not having those elections because I also think he knows that he would lose the election. The number of Ukrainians have been sent to war to die is staggering. The number is truly incredible, and so that's a problem. So when you look at the president of the United States of America and you look at you know what the president of our country is trying to do, which is to not only save our tax dollars, but also not empower someone like Zelensky to take advantage of the situation. Zolensky, there's a fifty percent chance when this thing's all said and done, he will probably go into exile somewhere else. He'll be run out of the country. And right now he's got a monopoly is on all the money coming in now. The corruption under Zolensky is widespread and well reported on that's something else that people need to understand, Like it is very well reported on just how widespread it is. And so Zelensky is a guy that even admitted that fifty percent of all the money that's gone to Ukraine, like is unaccounted for it. We don't know where it is. So now well I move you to the newest story. President Zelensky quote was quick to rubbish President Donald Trump's suggestion to take tension over nuclear plant possession off the table by simply making them American owned, insisting the plants belong to the quote people of Ukraine. The largest nuclear power station in Europe is technically Ukrainian owned, but has been occupied by Russian forces for over three years, and its fate has emerged as a bone of contention in Ukraine's war peace negotiations. All right, so if you know that's the issue, listen to this.
This week, President Trump, playing chess not.
Checkers, offered a new approach to answering whether it should be Ukrainian or Russian by offering to make an American instead taking the problem off the table altogether Ukraine's presidents. Lensky responded quickly reverting to his total war goal of all United Nations recognized Ukrainian territory being restored to Kiev's control, insisting there's no way the United States could take control of the valuable but potentially highly dangerous site. Now again, the president's trying to end the war. It's pretty clear nown Zelensky's going, no, no, don't. I don't want to end this war. I don't want like the points of contention are going to keep me in power for longer, and I'd rather be present for another six months, or another year, or another two years because we can't come to an agreement. And be damned, who gets killed.
Now.
In response to a journalist question during a joint conference in Norway with the Prime minister there that at times appeared to verge on the well of the frustrated or angry, Zelensky hit back saying, quote, all nuclear power plants belong to the people of Ukraine. These are state owned nuclear power plants. It's not in private property in Ukraine. Now again, he's obviously not actually wanting to stop the war. If he did, he would trust the US on this issue and say, yes, let's do this to take it off the table. Quote, the atomic energy in Ukraine belongs to Ukraine, and the temporarily occupied region where this nuclear power plant is belongs to Ukraine. He went on to say, refering to the leader Kohl he had with President Trump early in the week. President Zelenski also quote cast doubt on the versions of events published by the United States which stated American ownership of those plants would be the best protection for that infrastructure and support for Ukrainian energy infrastructure. Giving his view on the call, Zelensky said, quote the problem raised by the Americans, I do not know whether they have raised it with the Russians. Mister President Trump asked me what do you think about this station. I told him that if it does not belong to Ukraine, it will not work for anybody.
It is illegal and it is.
Not capable of doing so, and it is a state owned enterprise. The issue of property we definitely did not discuss with President Trump, and even more we did not discuss the message you have said here.
Zelenski went on.
To say, I saw such messages in the press regarding the overall generation.
In Ukraine. Now we will not discuss it.
Ukraine has opened quote four discussions or two discussions on future investment and modernization of its nuclear powers, Lensky said, but again retreading his path on insisting foreign ownership could not be permitted. Now, why would you say it this way if you're Zelenski? Simply put, it's because he doesn't want the war to end.
Now.
Ukraine, by the way, just so you know, has fifteen Soviet error reactors. In the case of its largest plant, its six reactors are largely in a state of cold shutdown for safety. As previously reported on the nuclear ownership proposal to remove the issue from contention between Ukraine and Russia, quote, the proposal to take these plants into US ownership is the latest by the Trump administration to offer Ukraine's security guarantees through commerce, ensuring continued American interests in Ukraine's well being by creating a strong financial interest in its safety. Following the readout of Trump's comments to Zelenski, US Secretary of Energy Chris Right assured the US taking ownership of Ukraine's nuclear fleet was doable, telling Fox News that quote, there's no problem, we can do it, he said.
If it was helpful to achieve.
That end, have the US run nuclear power plants in Ukraine. We have immense technical technological excuse me, expertise in the United States to run those plants. I don't think that requires boots on the ground quote unquote. In fact, the United States already has direct experience in nuclear power in Ukraine, with nuclear power giant Westinghouse having supported the country's power fleet since the Russia invasion in twenty twenty two, has even started building new American design reactors in nuclear power plants last year alone. So if you know the background now, the way that I just described it, and you hear the way that they are describing it in from Zolensky, Zolensky makes it sound like this is the most insane idea ever, but if you look at the reality on the ground, it's actually one of the most brilliant ideas ever and would take away leverage from Russia to actually get a deal done. So now you have to ask yourself this question, why is Zelensky so hell bent on not agreeing to this deal?
And the answer is very clear.
I'm gonna say the answer again because it's an important one. It's because Zolensky actually doesn't want peace. I'm gonna say that again. Zolensky actually doesn't want peace. Zolensky knows that as soon as this war ends and there are elections, it is game over for him. It is game over, and the people of his country are going to vote him out of office and they're gonna want somebody new. And Zolensky wants the money and the cash coming in, and his family, his friends, and the oligarchs of Ukraine are more corrupt than those in Russia.
And that's saying something.
You think Russian corruption is bad, you have no idea how bad it is until you look at what it's like with the oligarchs in Ukraine, and Zolensky knows it. And the proof of it goes back to the point that was made. I'm going to go back to the point that Zelensky said out loud. We don't know where fifty percent of.
The money goes.
By the way, I can tell you exactly where it goes. This is not hard. It's going to corrupt government officials, it's going to many of the Zelensky cronies.
Much of it's being export out of the country.
To Warsaw, where there is massive corruption in Warsaw. You look at all the top oligarchs in Ukraine, their families, are in Warsaw and the money that they are receiving in Warsaw is astronomical.
It is one of the it is.
One of the like the running jokes if you know people that deal with Ukraine, like, it's an embarrassment just how much money is being funneled when it comes to Ukraine. And the Biden administration knew it and they didn't stop it. And the question you then have to ask yourself is, Okay, why why didn't they stop it? Why did they allow the money to keep going in? Why did they allow it to keep going in at record numbers? Because maybe they were compromised. That could be part of it. Honestly, the Biden regime may have just been straight up compromised, just straight up compromised. Make sure you download the forty seven Morning Update wherever you get your podcasts.
