Brad Raffensperger is the Georgia Secretary of State. He has served in the Georgia State House of Representatives and on the Johns Creek City Council. We talked pretty extensively about policy decisions as well as some of the things that make his run for Governor unique over the other candidates. Brad is a great guy that I have known for a long time. He is as smart as they come.

1.Epstein 12.Economy 35.Income Tax Cuts vs Property Tax Cuts- Governors race edition.

Today we talk about the government shutdown ending and how Republicans have made a mess of their first year in congress. We talk about the changes coming to Obamacare and how it may be a breaking point for the legislation that will be very hurtful, and also probably the right thing.

This weekend on the show we had Chris Carr on the show. Chris is the Attorney General of the state of Georgia. In addition to his experience as AG, Chris has been the Commissioner to the Department of Economic Development and the former Chief of Staff to Senator Johnny Isakson. We will have each of the Governor's race candidates before the legislative session ends.

Ben examines the track record of President Trump in his second term compared to his first and believes Trump 2.0 is off to a much better start than his previous administration. From his economic policies to his foreign negotiations, and much to the dismay of Democrats, President Trump just keeps on winning. Are there there some criticisms to be laid on Trump? Sure, and Ben brings a few up today that are on his mind. However, overall, Ben lays out more evidence for why this run is better than his last and why Americans can be optimistic about better times ahead long before his term ends.

Why are they so reluctant to vote through the Continuing Resolution passed by the Senate? Is this the leftist wing of the Democrat party pressuring Chuck Schumer to fight, or is this a play for him to save his own political career with the threat of a looming primary loss to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez?  PLUS: Ben examines the impact of Department of War Secretary Pete Hegseth, how the fiscal shutdown is affecting the military, and what it would take to reduce the Income Tax to $0!

Had the opportunity to cohost The Morning Drive on XTRA 106.3 this week. It's a little different format than the weekends. I pay a lot of attention around the country as to who has the best ideas. At any level of public service, Greg is the best.  In the last election cycle, he was the only check I wrote. Take that for what it is worth.

Tai Anderson is 4X Grammy Award winner with the Atlanta based rock band Third Day. Every record the released went RIAA gold with the exception of 1. Tai talks about the early days, Roswell High School, Atlanta venues, recording studios, and his relationship with music. It's cool to see a grateful man talk about a band that means so much to my formidable years.  In the spring of 2026 they are going on a 30 city arena tour to commemorate the release of their first record.
