Megan Suri has acted in two prominent indie films as the main lead- The Miseducation of Bindu and Dramarama. She takes us through her journey of being an actor and getting work: 
1) Working on the craft rather than focus on getting an agent 
2) Dealing with rejections which is 99% of the time 
3) Believing in something greater and the energy and force out there that is taking you in the right direction 
4)Keep the journey free-flowing and enjoy the process
5) Keeping yourself stable despite hitting the wall!!
