Two-time champion Naomi Osaka has withdrawn from the 2026 Australian Open, giving Australia’s Maddison Inglis a spot in the second week. Alexia Mitchell and Brett Thomas unpack the red hot drama from Day 7 at Melbourne Park, where Jannik Sinner was on the ropes, and Novak Djokovic ended up in hot water during his 400th grand slam win. We say ‘so long, Stan Wawrinka’… the 2014 champion’s dream run comes to an end, while Iga Swiatek and Elena Rybakina chase their first Australian crowns. And AO Radio’s Nat Edwards takes you through the earlier matches, including some in-form Americans on The Evening Serve. Plus, a preview of the fourth round tennis blockbusters on Day 8.
Check out Pod Laver Arena every day of the AO.
